Title: Relaxing
Description: Shane

It was a saturday, no classes, no studying, no homework. Jen was going to relax today, which was actually quite hard for her. She struggled to find something to do with her time, she was tempted to go for a run, but that was something she preferred to do in the evenings. With so much time she wasn't quite sure what to do with herself. She was pacing the corridor in a pair of jeans, blue tank top and flip flops. She wanted a relaxing place, somewhere that she could just enjoy herself. That was when the door appeared on the wall.

Of course, Jenna knew of the room of requirement, she'd spent a lot of her time there over years, but she hadn't realized that she was outside of it at that point. You can imagine that when the door appeared, Jen was somewhat surprised. She opened the door slowly, curious as to what she would find this time. Looking around, Jenna discovered a rather cosey room. There were a couple plush, comfy arm chairs, a couple of been bags as well, and a small table. On top of the table was a stack of books and some magazines. She looked through the magazines, grinning when she found her favorite muggle magazine, Seventeen. She curled up into one of the arm chairs, dropping her flip flops on the floor. Thumbing through the magazing, Jen found what she was looking for and began to read it through it. She sigh contentedly (i'm not sure if that's a word....?), glad to of finally found a relaxing place at last.

Shane walked through the familiar corridor at a quickened pace, Filch no doubt only a few seconds behind him. His last spell had left quite a mess a few corridors back, but of course it was totally worth the hilarity that followed. Having discovered the Room of Requirement during his fourth year, it had become a favorite hideout spot of him and a few close friends. Coming to a stop where he knew the door would appear, he looked up to the ceiling in thought. The Room of Requirement was already hidden, it's not like he needed a room to hide in. Might as well pick a place to chill out. With that, the door appeared and Shane yanked it open, taking a last look towards the corner of the hallway before stepping inside and shutting the door.

It only takes a moment for him to realize he's not alone, a grin spreading acrossed his features. "Hey there gorgeous! Not bothering you I hope," he says, not waiting for a response before walking over to acquire his own comfy chair. Not as lazy as some wizards, he just grabs one and slides it next to Jenna's instead of casting a spell. Taking a seat, he leans on the armrest towards Jenna, glancing at her reading choice. "So what's going on with the muggle female population?" he teases, snatching up a mag about muggle motorbikes. He was in a very good mood today, from the looks of it it was also a very flirtacious one.

Jenna looked up in surprise as she discovered that someone else had just come in. But as she figured out who it was a big grin split across her features. "Heya Shane," Jen responded, blushing profusely. It seemed that whenever she was around Shane she was constantly blushing, but at this point she was getting used to it. "Nope you're not bothering me, no worries." Of course that was rather pointless, by that point he'd already made he was over to her. But she didn't mind, in fact she was pretty happy that he was here.

She looked over at Shane as he moved his chair next to hers. "Hrm... well for the summer fashion season bright colors are in order, and they've got a tid bit on dating and what guys really think.... " Jenna grinned. "Motorbikes, huh?" She commented on his choice of magazine. She tumbed through her own magazine, trying to find something particularly interesting for the time being. "So what brings you to room of requirement today?" She was just making conversation, but she was curious as well. She realized that Shane seemed to be in a great mood. Perhaps this would be a good day in the end, and maybe not as boring as she had originally anticipated.

Shane shifted, getting a little more comfortable in his chair as he scanned his magazine. Little if any of it made any sense to him, but he attempted to look slightly interested in order to not spend this entire conversation staring directly at Jenna. He wore a nice white and blue Hollister pinstriped buttondown and dark blue jeans, white Nike sneaks to finish the outfit. "Looks like you're ahead of the power curve then," he says with a grin, his eyes quickly flashing over her outfit. "Dating and what guys think huh? Like what?" he asks, curiousity piqued.

Glancing back to his mag, he flipped through looking at the pictures. Quickly growing frustrated with the boring, still photography that filled every muggle printed item, he shook the magazine gently as if to goad the pictures into moving. Giving up on trying to understand anything in the publication, Shane tosses it gently onto the stack of other magazines, not yet going for another one. He turns to Jenna, a mischevious look in his eye. "Well, I wish I could say that I knew you were here and came here to hang out with you..but the truth is that I just turned Mrs. Norris pink and needed a place to hide out before Filch caught up to me. You being here just happens to be a bonus."

Jenna looked down at her outfit momentarily as Shane made his comment, she supposed she was somewhat ahead of the game. It wasn't often that that happened, being a bit of a tomboy, Jen wasn't really one to pay attention to the fashion industry. In general she went for what was comfy, if it looked good, well that was an added bonus. She had just lucked out this time around, being as she was one for bright colors. "I guess I was just lucky this time around, usually I'm waaay behind on the times," Jen explained. She turned to the part about dating and what guys are really thinking. "Hrm. . . Well, it just goes about telling me how to score a guy, and then what guys really mean when they say something," her tone was teasing and playful, yet her words were true.

Looking over at Shane as he explained his situation, Jenna burst out laughing when he told the story of Mrs. Norris. "That poor cat, Filch'll have your hide if he finds you! I just wish I could've seen the look on his face..." She had to admit, that was rather funny, she only wished she'd been there to witness it. "Well I guess we were both pretty lucky then," She said with a smile. "I usually don't come here that often." In any case, she was happy of the coincidence.

Shane smirked, no longer pretending to read a magazine but concentrating entirely on the blond next to him. "Well some girls are just naturally beautiful..you know..look great in anything. Dresses, robes, sweats, jeans and a tank.." he replies with a grin, trailing off. He laughed as she talked about the article in her magazine. "Oh really? The muggles have us figured out? Though I am sitting right here, I suppose you could test their advice.." he says, shaking his head. "But I don't see a girl like you needing help landing a guy, you must keep 'em lining up.." "That line starts behind me of course.." A thought he keeps to himself. For now.

Of course he grinned as Jenna laughed, it was always fun to make her smile. "Yeah well first Filch has to catch me and I've been outrunning him for six years. I'm only getting better at evading and escaping," he says with a laugh. "Well I suppose I am feeling rather lucky today, it's been an unusually good day and it only seems to be getting better." Shane glanced around, taking another look at the way the room was set up. "Usually when I come here I use it for dueling practice. Makes less of a mess that way."

ooc: Gotta run, cutting it short! Sorry!

Jen looked up at Shane wondering whether he was talking about girls in genereal. His choice of outfits made her think that the compliment really was directed towards her, resulting in a slight blush and a grin. "I think that that depends on the viewer." She responded, somewhat jokingly. In truth, Jen didn't feel as if she were beautiful, but she knew she wasn't ugly. She didn't dress to impress, yet somehow that just worked for her. "Of course I got em lining up! But I'm pretty picky when it comes down to it. Those poor guys," Jen said, laughing. "But I'm pretty intimidating, remember? So not that many guys line up." She smiled as she remembered the last time they'd hung out.

She could just picture Filch after he found a pink Mrs. Norris. That would be an interesting sight. "Ah well, seems like you've got it down to an art. Poor Filch, he never really stood a chance," Jen laughed, but the sympathy in her voice was somewhat notable. She did feel sorry for him at times, he was such an easy target, the students always picked on him. It was all in good fun though, and it was rather amusing. "I guess I'm feelin pretty lucky today too. I thought it was going to be another boring day just reading girly magazines till you showed up." She grinned, closing her magazine and plopping it down on top of the others. "Duelling huh? I suck at duelling. I usually use this place for girly nights with my best friend."
