John had made his way to Hogsmade. He had been staying at the school for the tournament, it was nice to have somewhere that wasn't home to stay. He looked up and down the street, looking for Casey, he had told her to meet him here, and he hoped she would come because he was excited to see her again.

It had been a long time since Casey had been to Hogsmeade. Her excitement, however, was doubled today. She was meeting up with John, and she was over excited. She really liked John, she was glad that she'd bumped into him at the dance. Peering through crowds, she attempted to find him, slightly difficult of course when there are so many people. Before long she found him, "Hey John!" she greeted, grinning.

John turned around when he heard someone call out his name, he recognized the voice and smiled"Hey Casey." He said as he saw her walking towards him, "How are you? You're staying at the school too right?" He asked. He guessed she was if she was here, and she had sounded less excited than him about going home.

Casey was grinning, "I am fantastic actually," She said. She really was in a great mood, she'd woken up in a better mood than she had been in in a long time. She nodded, "Yea, I decided it'd probably just be better to stay up here. So you're staying here too then?" It was a rather stupid question, she pretty much knew the answer at this point. "So, where should we go? It's been ages since I've been here..."

"Yeah, I don't have anything better to do over the summer, So I thought, hey might as well." He said, and scanned the street for something to do, he hadn't really planned that far ahead, he hadn't been sure if she would really come or not. " I don't know, it depends on what are you in the mood for?" he asked.

Casey couldn't help but grin, if John was spending the summer at Hogwarts too, well that just meant that they could spend more time together. "I guess we could just walk and go in any shop that we want to?" she suggested, looking around a bit. "I havn't been here in so long, I've forgotten what most of the shops are. That's a bit sad isn't it?"

"Okay, let's do that." He said leading her along the street. "Yeah, that's just a little sad." He agreed when she said she didn't remember what most of the shops were "How long has it been since you were here last?" he asked, he liked it here, e didn't buy a lot of things from the shops but he liked having a place to go that wasn't at school.

Casey stuck to John's side, still grinning, she really couldn't help it at this point. She thought about John's question, and paused, trying to remember. "I would say it's been at least a year, if not longer..." She looked up at John, somewhat surprised that it had been so long. She hadn't really realized that so much time had passed. "Oh well, I remember the important places, like Honeydukes and The Three Broomsticks."

"At least you didn't forget everything. Do you have any idea of where you want to go or do? Want to get a drink, something to eat or just sit and talk for a while?" He asked, if he had some clue as to what she wanted to do it would be easier to find a place for them to go, but just walking was fine with him as long as they were spending time together.

Casey lauhged, "I don't think I could forget about everything. Really though, I honesstly don't mind. Walking is fine with me, and then maybe we could go get a drink in a little while?So I guess just head in that general direction?" She offered, hoping to be of some help. She knew it would be easier to get things planned if she could be more decisive, but really all she wanted to do was spend time with John.

"That sounds good." He said, glad that she had some idea as to what they should do while they were out, he would have to remember to plan a little farther ahead next time they went out. "So, do you have any other plans for today?" he asked, He didn't want to keep her too long if she had other things to do today.

Casey was still smiling, it was hard not to. "Nope no plans, I'm a loner, what can I say?" She was joking a bit of course. But really all that she'd planned to do was just relax and enjoy a good book. That's what she ended up doing most of the time really, "What about you? Any plans?"

"Oh yes, you're such a loner Cassey, it's cause we're in Hufflepuff and are amazingly boring." He teased, rolling his eyes. "No, I don't have any other plans for today either. "He said glad to know that they didn't really have to worry about time while they were out. "So have you been up to anything lately?" he asked.

Laughing, Casey said, "Well it's what we Hufflepuffs do best. Besides there's nothing wrong with being a loner, it's makes for a more relzxing life." Of course when John said that he had no plans either, she couldn't help but feel somewhat happier. It meant that they could spend longer together and not have to worry about the time at all. "Me? I've been up to absolutely nothing. Just enjoying no classes. what about you?" It really seemed that she led quite a boring life.

"Yeah, it's nice to have a little time to just sit and enjoy life Have you heard about the dueling club Aj wants to start?" he asked her remembering that he had promised Aj that he would ask Casey if she wanted to join the next time she saw her. That conversation with Aj had led to other questions, but he figured they could wait until later.

Casey nodded, "Yea it really is. I love the quiet life, but it's nice to have some fun every now and then. I'm sure he mentioned it, but I didn't think he was actually going to start it... That sounds pretty awesome though," She figured that a duelling club would pretty awesome. She wasn't that great at duelling, but being in the club would really give her some good practice,

"Yeah, he was pretty serious about it when i was talking to him about it. I don't think he'll do much with it until the tournament is over and he actually has time, but I think it sounds cool. I could use some practice, he kicked my butt when we were practicing." He said, some of that had been John hadn't expected the sudden anger his friend had directed at him, but he was a little rusty at dueling.

Casey nodded, "Yea that would make sense. I really need the practice too. I pretty much suck compared to AJ, he's pretty good at duelling though. You practiced with AJ? That's coolHe has a tendancy to kick people's butts it would seem," and with that statement she laughed. It just sounded weird. "Maybe if we practice enough, we'd get good enough to beat him...."

"Yeah, I really didn't do that well, but then again I don't duel with people on a regular basis, hopefully some practice will help, maybe if we both were going against him we could beat him." he said with a laugh as he imagined them going after AJ. "You have a nice laugh." He said with a smile, making a mental note that he should make her laugh more often.

"Aw that sucks. I guess if we practice a little bit first then join forces I'm pretty sure we could take him," Casey grinned. Aj was a good dueller, it was no secret, but in time she could be a good dueler too. She blused at John's comment, looking down momentarily. "Thanks," she managed to say, still grinning.

"Awe, you're blushing." He teased, really he thought the pink in her cheeks was cute."I have a question for you. It's kinda and awkward one to ask, but do you see us together, you know kinda more than just friends?" he asked, this time it has his turn to blush a little bit, After he and AJ had talked, the thought just wouldn't leave him alone.

Casey laughed while her cheeks turned an even darker red. "Haha yea I really am!" She blushed so easily. She looked up at John, hesitating for a moment. She hadn't been expecting that. But she was grinning. The truth was that she really wanted to be more than just friends, but she'd been worried that John hadn't wanted that. "Well.... yea, I do." She felt her cheeks burning, becoming even redding if that was even possible.

As soon as she had said yes, the embarassment that he had been feeling at asking such an odd question was gone and had been replaced with a grin. He would deal with the awkwardness that might come with Aj later, all the mattered to him right now was that she had said yes. "That's great!...umm, me too"

Casey's grin widened, she was till blushing, but not nearly as bad as she had been. She couldn't believe it. She looked up at John, "Really?" She asked, still in complete disbelief. She really liked John, but she hadn't believed that he'd liked her back. In the very back of her mind she thought about Finn, but she was over that, and managed to force those thoughts out.

"Yeah, really." He couldn't beleive it either. He had been so worried she would have said no and he would be left feeling absolutely retarded and might have even ruined their friendship. "I was sure you were going to say no, but that's been nagging at me for a while now." He couldn't help but notice how cute she was when she smiled.

At this point Casey couldn't stop grinning, she'd been smiling the whole time she'd been with John, but now she was really truly grinning. She was still in minor disbelief, but completely ecstatic. "I honestly thought that wouldn't like me as more than a friend...." It had worked out perfectly then. She really liked John, and it seemed that he liked her back. She didn't think she could be happier.

"Yeah, same here, but you're really pretty, and we have so much in common, " He didn't know why he was rambeling, but he just kept talking and grinning, He was absolutely estatic, She really liked him back. "I should just stop talking. I don't know where I'm going with it."

Casey could feel her cheeks burn as she began o blush again, "thanks," she said a little quietly. She might beblushing like crazy, but she was really grinning. "We really do have a lot in common, crazy isn't it?" She shrugged, "But at don't mind, really." At this point nothing could to get Casey, she was absolutely ecstatic. But she just didn't know what else to say at this point.
