AJ had received a rowhouse in Kennington, London from his parents. It was his grandparents, and his great-grandparents and so on. It was three stories plus a basement and small attic. He enjoyed it very much.

Most of the house hadn't been decorated and that was okay. AJ was home for a quick while before the tournament started. He was mixing potions and enchanting spells. He was seconds away on becomming and Animagus.

AJ had studied long and hard and thought he knew everything he needed to know. He had memorized the spell, but hadn't done it. Potions were involved as well, he needed help with those. But tonight, in the attic of his new home he decided to try once and for all. He hoped he wasnt something too big, the attic wouldnt be able to hold it.

His wand in his hand, potions ready to drink, he decided it was time. He whispered what was needed to be said, drank what was needed to be drunk. This was it. He could feel it in his bones. His surroundings were changing. But because his vision was changing.

The next thing he knew he was something else. He glided over to a mirror to see what he had become.

"Oh my," he thought looking at himself, "I'm an eagle."

He stared at himself flapping his wings. He knew this type of eagle. It was known as a Golden Eagle. Very common in the UK and even the US. AJ flew to the only chair and pirched on it.

"This is why I felt like that when I flew," he thought, referring to that time at the lake with Carly. He flew back infront of the mirror. He noticed the tip of his left wing hand markings, presumably because his left hand was mangled and scarred in human form.

He flew down the stairs, luckily the door was open. He decided he would take the Muggle Tube to Hyde park, and transform in the bushes by the Serpentine.

He landed, transforming back into his giant self. Just then, he heard a knock at the door. A select few knew he had lived here.

April had gone to see Aj, hoping to hang out with him before the Tournament started. The two had exchanged addresses before leaving school, so April had decided to come visit him. She had wanted it to be a surprise, so she hadn't owled before she came. It dawned on her now, as she knocked on the door, that he may not be home. She found herself praying that he was, so she wouldn't have to start all the way back for no reason.

She knocked on the door, looking at his house. It was nice and looked pretty old. It was in a Muggle town, since she knew that AJ was Muggleborn. It didn't bother her at all, she realized. She had connected a local house to the Floo network, friends of her fathers, and walked the rest of the way. She was lucky, since his house a few hours drive away from her Manor, and shecouldn't fly in broad daylight.

She knocked again, wondering where he was. It was mid afternoon, so it was possible he went out for lunch. She deiced that she'd have to wait it out. She smiled as she remembered all thier times at Hogwarts. They hadn't been away long, and she already missed him. She sighed.

He heard the knock again. He decided to answer it. He peeped through the peephole and there he saw a girl he had seen lots of. He swung the door open. "April! Come on in." the pair exchanged an awkward hug.

AJ took her around his house. His empty lounge, his dusty kitchen. To the second floor to see the bedrooms. He led her to the attic. "Not much up here." he said, closing the door. He took her back down stairs to his library, which was the only part of the house furnished and decorated. Books upon books filled the room. He had comfy chairs he offered her to sit it.

"Want some tea?" he asked, he flicked his wand and in came two cups of tea floating in mid air.

"I'm happy I turned 17 over the winter Holidays. I can use magic now. And can apparate as well." He hoped he didnt sound cocky.

AJ gave her a tour of the whole house, which actually seemed pretty deserted. She figured he really needed to clean up a bit if it was going to be fit for habitation.

April laughed, knowing she would be 17 soon enough. She was happy she had an early birthday. Only a few months to go before she could torment her sister outside of Hogwarts walls. She was happy about that. She accepted the tea and sipped it.

"Well, thank god for that. Wouldn't want to make you walk all the way t othe kitchen," she joked, laughing. He sat down opposite of her and drank his own tea.

"So, hows everything? Vacation going okay? We need to head back soon," she commented, hoping she didn't overwhelm him.

He listened as she made a comment about apparation. He had more exciting news to share than that. But didnt want to disclose it yet.

"The holiday is nice. Dont want to turn back for the tournament. Maybe I just wont show." he joked, "This place is so nice. But so is Hogwarts.."

They sat there drinking tea in silence filled with awkward conversation. In the months that he had met April, he went from sleping with her to being good friends to barely talking at all. He missed her friendship and was disapointed a relationship never materialized.

"Oh..." he started to say after her finished his cup of tea. "I've done it." He leant in and said in a low whisper as if somebody were spying on them. He knew she would know he meant transforming into an animagus.

AJ leaned forward and whispered that he had done 'it'. April had no clue what he was talking about, but then it dawned on her. She laughed outloud in surprised, and then gave him a high five.

"That's awesome! When? What are you? Did it hurt?" she asked in quick succession, then sat back down. She was totally getting too excited for him. He didn't even seem that thrilled about it, but then again, he probably had had time to mull it over for awhile.

"I mean... congraultions," she said, more seriously. She took another quick sip of tea. She realized that her and AJ had struggled in becoming friends after that night, and she hoped to get close to him again.

She fired questions so rapidly all he managed to answer was, "I'm a Golden Eagle. Quite popular so I can fly around and be seen. Though it would be unusual to be seen hovering over London a lot. Might draw attention to me."

He was so excited he just wanted to fly right now. But perhaps it could wait. Maybe he and April could go flying near where she lives. Since she lived in a wizarding village it would be okay. And of course she would need a broom.

"Maybe we could fly together sometime. Of course, you would need a broom." AJ had made it a habit of repeating things that were obvious.

April laughed, nodding. She was astonished that he was an eagle, which was interesting. She didn't know what Golden Eagls looked like, but she guessed that they were pretty large birds, since AJ was pretty big.

"Yeah, that would be cool. I could fly around my village. And my Firebolt can totally fly faster than you can," she said, winking at him. "I'd be cool to show you my house and such."

She winked at him again, sipping her tea.

"So when did this happen?"

"Well I havent attempted flying outside at full speed. But I think hawks are pretty fast." he felt a feeling he hadnt felt in a long time coming back. He knew he didnt love April, but there was an infatuation there that made him think things.

"Thanks for coming," he said taking her cup of tea. "I've missed talking to you."

He walked to the kitchen this time to put away the cups of tea. He needed a breather. He felt some sort of tension between April and he, but wasnt sure what it was. He was using muggle methods of cleaning the dishes in the sink instead of using magic. He heard April walk up beind him.

He turned and looked at her, smiling.

AJ had excused himself to do the dishes, and April knew he was doing them by hand, since it didn't take long by magic unless he had somehow managed to backfire the spell. She walked into the kitchen slowly, coming up behind him.

"You're hiding," she whispered. "I thought maybe I'd come in here and you'd be a sponge or something. Spell backfire," she joked. She laughed at her own joke.

"So, why are you hiding from me?" she asked, leaning against the counter gently. She had felt the tenstion between the two, but had tried to ignore it. She didn't know what it meant to her, exactly, but all she knew was that she missed him a lot.

He looked at her. "Just confused." he said.

With feelings for her coming back and having fell for Casey, who didnt even know it, AJ's mind had been garbled by a mess of thoughts.

"It's just. I miss that night. But know it may have been a bad idea." he said to her, walking towards her. The kitchen was tiny already so he bumped into while he was passing her. She tripped over herself, but he caught her before she could fall.

"Sorry about that." he looked into her eyes.

April had almost fallen, since AJ was a bit clumsy, but he caught her. She was staring into her eyes and she sort of froze for a second. Feelings from a long time ago flooded back into her head. She didn't know what was going on with them, but she knew right now, there was a spark.

She leaned in and kissed him pretty deeply, not knowing if it was a bad idea or a good idea. She wanted it to be a good idea for him, but she didn't even know if he had found anyone else. She realized she was being a foolish little girl.

She didn't pull away though, and waited to see what AJ would do.

She kissed him. And he kissed back. Deeply. He enjoyed it. All of the thought about Casey left him for a moment. He remembered that night.

He put his arms around April enjoying himself, but Casey came into his head. He pushed her out of it.

"Mmmm..." he moaned a bit. He wanted April right then and there. Just like that night.

April got really into the kiss, but then realized they were in the kitchen. Not really a suitable kissing environment. At least they weren't at school this tiem, she thought with grace.

"Do you have a room or something.?The kitchen seems so... kinky," she said, laughing. He seemed sort of distracted but she pushed it away. It didn't matter. He was a boy, of course.

He led her to the only bedroom that was furnished. She felt so good in his arms. Both shirts were off quickly. He pushed her onto the bed and kissed her stomach. She was so soft.

He undid his pants and was just in his boxers. He crawled on top of her and kissed her even harder. He undid her pants but left them on. He wanted to make this last a bit.

"Does this feel good?" he asked kissing her neck.

April like the way that AJ always took control over the situation. She liked having some control, but in this situation, it was good to see him do everything, and do it all right. She moaned a little bit as he started kissing her neck. She was glad they were somewhere totally private.

"Mmm," she said, in response to his question, not being able to get full words out. She nodded her head to make sure he understood.

AJ had taken off almost all of his clothes and was down to his boxers. April's pants were undone but he had waited to pull them off, but she did it herself. She tore them off and put them on the floor next to his, smirking at him. She kissed his neck to, and down his stomach line.

The two of them were tangled on the bed. Seminaked. Sheets were thrown everywhere and it suddenly became very hot in the room. AJ had feelings rush through his body that he had only felt that night.

Within moments both were naked, touching eachother all over. He couldn't help but let his hands explore. He rested them on her inner thigh, very high up. He felt what he longed for and started to move his hand. Making circles with his finger. She felt so good. He wanted to stay like this forever.

April allowed him access to whatever he wanted, knowing that this wasn't the first time anyways. She was glad that every trace of awkwardness had ebbed away this time, and it was normal for her. More intense, and more passionate; at least it was for her. She almost needed to know what was going through his head, but she was pretty sure that she already knew by his actions.

He was on top of her and she was feeling him all over, as he was doing to her. She could feel his excitement, and especially in the way that we was holding her and touching her. She knew now that she would allow him anything, so she let loose. She stopped worrying about anything, and smirked at him.

She didn't say anything, but gave him a clear look, showing him what she wanted right now.

AJ took her in his arms and the two began to kiss passionatly. He wanted her and wanted to be in her. He wanted to feel every inch of her.

Their sweat began to mix, soon it wouldnt be clear on whose hands were whose. This was better than the previous time.

AJ wanted to tell her how he felt, but images of other girls, well only one, rushed into his head.

He was more confused than ever.

April and AJ had a really good time, and it was definately better than the last time. She knew that. She felt the same spark, and she was sure he did too, but his face was creased with worry and concern. Whe nthey stopped. she rolled onto her side and faced him.

"What's wrong? You can tell me," she stated easily. She wanted to be on good terms with AJ, whatever these terms meant. Friends, not friends, dating, whatever. She just needed to end the confusion.

As they finished AJ felt a twinge of guilt flow through his body. He brushed it off. "No, it's nothing." He kissed April and let his hands explore her gently. They laid there naked, touching eachother, kissing each other. If it were up to AJ theyd have a go again. But he didnt think April felt the same way.

In all of the excitement, he forgot he had become a golden eagle an hour ago. He thought about flying high soaring over the houses of London, but then thought about the tournament. AJ hoped he would be able to use his abilities in the tournament.

"That sure was nice." he told April kissing her neck down to her belly button and lower.

"Yeah, totally," she agreed. She was tired and half wanted to sleep, but half wanted to get up. AJ was still kissing her all over, and she felt bad pushing him off a little, but she was too tired for round two right now.

"Maybe later," she suggested, climbing over the edge of the bed and putting her clothes back on quickly. She didn't feel self concious or anything, but she still felt pretty exposed. Again, she was thankful that no one else was around. She didn't need rumors all over the school again.

"Can you show me your transformation?"

His transformation. Of course! He would love to show her it. Within a matter of moments they were off to the muggle underground to make it to Hyde Park. He knew April wouldnt like this idea, but felt more comfortable being a muggle in London than a Wizard.

The tube was packed. It was a Tuesday morning and many businessmen and women were dressed in nice clothes and black overcoats. AJ dressed in respectable clothes. Even having a tie one. While April dressed like usual self. Sticking out a bit.

By the time the reached Hyde Park, children were playing and dogs were running around. AJ went to the bushes, figuring no one would see him. He left April out in the open.

"Look to the sky." he said. In the bushes he felt his bones changing and his vision growing stronger. He was in the air in no time. His wings flapped, his talons drew close to this body. He soared higher and higher before swooping down by children. His form of the Golden Eagle was quite big. One of the largest birds in the world. People stared in awe by seeing such a bird in the middle of London.

April felt really congested around all the Muggles, and tried not to touch anyone or anything that looked dirty, which was almost everything. She had been in Muggle London before, but she tended to avoid it all costs. Alsom the travel was really slow and scary and damp, and very cramped and April hated every second of it.

When they creached the park that AJ had been going on about, she leaned against a tree while he hid in the bushes and transformed. When she blinked, she could see him soaring high in the sky, an eagle and a big one at that. He looked magestical and everything, and April was shocked.

She checked the bushes to make sure it was actually him, and it was. She was really shocked and impressed, and she waved at him like an idiot before she realized Muggles were staring and gaping at her. Someof them pointed at the eagle like they've never seen one before, which may be possible.

"Weeeeeeeee!" she said, dancing around and then laying on the grass. AJ landed near her and walked around a few steps, not getting too close. April got a really good look on his, and he had somewhat of a mangled wing from his accident in human form. He was still a beautifil bird though.

AJ preched himself near April. He was a very big bird and was bigger than some children around. He wanted nothing more than to fly away. He tried to motion to April to follow him with his wing, he wasn't sure if she understood. He started to fly high, but go very slowly. AJ looked back down seeing April following him

The chilled air felt good against his wings. He wished April was up here next to him on a broom. That's when he decided that they needed to go to her house and fly. Soon.

He knew they needed to get back to his house. He started flying back that way. It would be half hour walk, so he landed somewhere secluded and they made their way back to the tube station.

"We need to go fly out by your house." he whispered on the train.

April nodded as they were on the tube back to his house. She was uncomfrotable again, and was thankful for when they got off. Walking back to his house from the station, April was filled with different ideas on how to get to her house. She figured they could just floo there, but she didn't know if his house was connected to the floo network.

"Is this house connect to the floo network?" she asked him, praying that it would be. "Because it was quite a drive to get over here."

AJ smiled. "Yeah it's connected. My parents had it done for me."

He couldnt wait to go flying with her. He couldnt wait to do other things as well and wanted to do them now before they left. But he wasnt sure if she was in the mood. Perhaps not.

He did decide to lean in and kiss her to see what she did. If she pulled away, they would go flying. If not, then...

April was indeed happily surprised that AJ's house was connected to the floo network, which would mean that they could save precious gas mileage by just floo-ing over. The drive had been horrendous, and April would have her father have someone pick up the car at a later date. She was just deciding o tell AJ this when he leaned over and kissed her.

April kissed back, not knowing what this was about, but didn't pulll away. She wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, feeling the blood rushing to her cheeks in embarassment. People on the sidewalk were staring at them awkwardly, and April giggled into AJ's lips.

He didnt care if people were around. They were steps from his house and kept kissing all the way to the door. He used his wand to open it. Once they were in they tripped as he closed the door. They were on the floor kissing passionatly. Tongues were twisted, hair amess. The wood floor was warm enough, but not too comfortable.

"Mmm..."he moaned into her. "Feels good." He pulled away to look into her eyes and he smiled.

April nodded, feeling the heat of his body on top of hers, and the cold of the floor underneath her. She knew that he was feeling good right now, and she was too. She was up for whatever, and was glad that they were out of the public eye now.

"Yeahhh," she said, moaning a bit at the end. She sat up, and pointed to the couch, slowly leading him over there. She sat him down and straddled him, kissing him on the neck and then the lips.

She was on top of him again. He was pulling her shirt over her head, revealing her bra. After he took hers off, he pulled his own shirt over . He kissed her neck, chest, stomach, back up to her chest. Kissing her through her bra. Reaching around to her back he unhooked her bra, now kissing her flesh. Softly.

They still had their pants on. He forced her under him and began to undo her pants. He had succeeded and she was there in a thong as he got down to his boxers. He thrusted close to her. Still in thong and boxers. They were kissing hard. His hands were exploring and their hips girating. He was growing even more excited. His hand travelled lower and found she too, was very excited.

April watched everything in slow motion as it panned out for the second time that day. She didn't have any problem with it at all, and the couch was comfortable as she lay underneath AJ. She couldn't remember her shirt being taken off, but suddenly both of them were naked except for thong and him in his boxers. She giggled, grabbing the waist line of his boxers and tugging them down around his ankles.

She smirked, looking at his excitement, and knew she was excited too. She saved him the time and pulled at her thong, kicking it onto his floor, and smiled at him gently. Pulling him down onto her again, she kissed down his chest, trailing small kisses. and back up, looking at him innocently.

"Round two?" she asked him, playfully.

Both being naked excited AJ. Yes, round two indeed. Thei ecstasy filled the room. Moans, groans, and everything else. Thrusting away on the couch, AJ felt in control. That was until she wanted on top. He was kissing her chest as she began to take control. His hand resting on her bum.

"Hrm..."he half moand half whispered in her ear. She was going harder now. To which AJ didn't complain.

Moaning lightly, April took AJ's slight moan that he was enjoying what she was doing, so she picked up her pace. On top of him now, it felt really great to her and she knew that he felt the same way, if not even more so. She smirked slightly, kissing him hard and fast, not slowing down.

It moved onward, and April could feel herself getting close. She worked more with him, letting him regain the top to finish, and at once, it was all over. April laid back, out of breath, and lazy smile spreading onto her lips. She knew she had let out a scream but thought nothing of it. She looked over ta AJ to see him smiling too.
