Title: Wanting to play Quidditch
Description: OPEN.
Robyn Singe - June 20, 2008 02:06 PM (GMT)
Robyn sat side sadle on her broom. It hovered above the ground obediantly, and Robyn sighed.
She wanted to play quiditch. She didn't know how to, and since Ravyn wasn't at Hogwarts anymore to go tell on Robyn, Robyn thought she had a chance at getting away with it. Robyn didn't know much about the game, except it looked fun.
Robyn sighed again, she'd play, but someone would have to teach her.
Calum Ferguson - June 21, 2008 03:46 AM (GMT)
Calum walked onto the pitch. He wasn't really a quidditch player, but he knows how to fly, being son of an enormous quidditch fan. He had got out a broom from the broomshed, not having one of his own, and saw a girl hovering on her broom.
"Hi, there." he said.
Robyn Singe - June 21, 2008 05:35 PM (GMT)
Robyn looked up to see a boy. She smiled, "Hiya." She tapped twice on her broom with a delicate finger, and it tenderly floated down, and she hopped off when she was close enough to the ground.
"Going to... practice?" Robyn ask, nodding towards the pitch.
Sora Hawthorne - June 22, 2008 12:09 AM (GMT)
Sora hovered lazily over the bright green grass of the pitch. He had been hoping to try-out for the house Quidditch team but try-outs weren't for another week. He scowled at the three golden hoops that gleamed in the sunlight, seeming to mock him. He had been flying for a little over an hour and was steadily getting bored of being in the air. Sure, it was good practice, and he knew that he looked fine on a broom with the wind blowing through his air but...there wasn't as much pride as playing with a team.
He had wanted tp be on a Quidditch team from the moment he had learned of the sport. It was far more appealing than the Muggle sport of football. It required not an ounce of running, just skill and dexterioty. He had come out on the pitch at least once a week from his first year until the present day. It might have lowered his Transfiguration marks a grade or two, but he wasn't complaining.
It was just than when two small figure appeared on the pitch yards below him. He squinted down and them and couldn't make out their genders, much less house. Sora drummed his perfectly manicured fingers against the handle of his broom as pondered approaching these two Quidditch players.
He decided to wait to see who they were. Better not chance things and have an enemy pelting bludgers at his head, he reasoned.
Calum Ferguson - June 24, 2008 11:03 AM (GMT)
"Uh, no. I'm just trying to have some fun." he said. "I don't do much flying.."
He sat on his broom, two legs on one side, and kicked lightly on the ground. He and his broom hovered a little off the ground.
"I have this injury that really doesn't allow me to fly high enough to reach Quidditch standard." he said, shrugging. "What about you?"
Then, he saw a person in the distance staring at them.
"Who's that?" he asked.
Robyn Singe - June 24, 2008 12:36 PM (GMT)
"Oh, just wondering." Robyn watched him hover, but she still stood and had no intentions of getting back on her broom. "Mmm, I'm sorry. Annndd..... I''m not allowed to play, watch or even do anything related to Qudditch. My dad hates it." Robyn shrugged, and then looked up into the air. "I dunno, how about I find out, eh?" Robyn got on her broom and sped up and off to the boy. She was now right beside him, but Robyn doubted he noticed. "You know, spying on people isn't polite." She told him.
Sora Hawthorne - June 24, 2008 07:31 PM (GMT)
"Yes, but being polite was never my forte." He said, snidely back to her. He turned to look at the girl, eyebrows raised. He noticed how she rode on her broom. Not very gracefully. He noted as she hovered next to him. Sora zoomed towards the golden hoops, wanting to get away from this somewhat rude girl and her grounded friend.
He sighed as he circled the hoops a number of times, thinking about his old friends. They all could play Quidditch. Unlike most of the younger years at Hogwarts. Sora couldn't wait to get out of the castle. He was tired of having to deal with all of the children and foolish students. He enjoyed some of them and the professors were all good and well but seven years was far too long to be in one place.
Robyn Singe - June 24, 2008 09:52 PM (GMT)
Robyn wanted to stick out her tongue at the boy, but she didn't or at least she waited till he was farther off to do it. She allowed her broom to drop down till it was at the same levels as the other boys.
"It was just some Slytherin jerk. I'm Robyn Singe, and I'm one of the few non-jerky Slytherin." Robyn grinned.
Calum Ferguson - June 26, 2008 11:38 AM (GMT)
He grinned and landed back to earth.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Calum Ferguson." he said, grinning. "Have you seen my brother? He can be a jerk, that one."
"Show off, i'nt 'e?" he said, in a sarcastic yorkshire accent.
