Title: Walking Alone
Description: Open

Sid Carrick - June 20, 2008 11:14 PM (GMT)
Sid went out onto the grounds to explore a bit. He was tired of being coupled up in the common room. He walked along the trees, looking at bugs and leaves as he passed. He had his hands in his pockets and felt a bit sullen that day. He wasnt saying much, and didnt know why. He just didnt feel like it. He hoped someone would come along to relieve his boredom. Someone who was his kidn of people.

April Teagan - June 20, 2008 11:20 PM (GMT)
April had fancied a walk, although she was upset that she couldn't bring music with her. She was in an odd mood today; sort of reflecting on her life. She felt as though somehow she had gone wrong, but she didn't know how. She hated feeling like she regretted something. It wasn't a good feeling for her at all.

Walking through the grounds, she started thinking through everything so far. It brought her around the trees, and she wasn't paying too much attention. When she looked up, she saw that she was only a few feet from a boy about her age, it looked. He had black spiky hair and anicely toned body. She didn't recognize him, but noticed he was wearing robes like hers; Slytherin.

She glided over and stood behind him, as he was facing the other way. She stepped into his line of vision, glancing over and smirking. He looked back, just staring. She did this for a moment and then decided to speak.

"Do I know you?" she asked casually, pointing to the green trim on his black Hogwarts robes.

Sid Carrick - June 20, 2008 11:33 PM (GMT)
Sid looked up at teh girl in front of her abruptly. "I dont know you, so no, you dont know me." He said a bit rude. He felt it rude of her to come up on him like that. But she was cute.

"And you are?" He asked. he noticed her robes said Slytherin. This gave him a bit of respect for her.

April Teagan - June 20, 2008 11:42 PM (GMT)
April thought the boy's tone was a bit rude, but then again, she had been a little rude too, coming up to him like that. It also matched his Slytherin personality, so she brushed it off. No big deal, since most of the Slytherins were rude or even a bit cocky or ill mannered. She laughed it off internally and heard his next question.

"I'm April," she said, looking him up and down as if she was trying to figure out who he was by looking. "I don't know you at all though. What's your name?" she asked casually.

He seemed like he could be nice enough, so she figured she'd give him the benefit of the doubt. Besides, he had totally been checking her out. She thought that was pretty funny. She still didn't even know what terms she was on with AJ.

Sid Carrick - June 21, 2008 12:16 AM (GMT)
Sid looked at the girl. April. He heard her say her name. "Thatsa nice name." He said. "Im Sid Carrick. Nice to meet you April." Sid said this to her. trying to be as nice as possible, and then he started walking. He stopped after a few steps, "You want to join me?" He said.

April Teagan - June 21, 2008 12:25 AM (GMT)
April looked at Sid curiously. He liked her name. She seemed to get that a lot. At least his name wasn't weird or abnormal like everyone else at this school. There were some pretty weird names At Hogwarts, that was for sure.

"Thanks, and at least Sid is normal. There's the weirdest names here for students, I'm tellin ya," she replied. He started walking away, and she followed him.

"IF you don't mind, I'll stay with you. I've got nothing better to do, unless you count sitting in the dorms something to do."

They walked in silence for a few moments.

"So, play quidditch any?"

Sid Carrick - June 21, 2008 12:33 AM (GMT)
April followed him, and Sid didnt mind. He liked her. She was peppy and fun, and a Slytherin. He heard her speak up abotu Quidditch. "Of course i do. Im a beater." He said. "Let me guess, yoru a seeker? Only seekers bring up Quidditch, they like to brag." He said to her smiling. He wasnt trying to be rude. He was trying to be funny, but Sid lacked that talent.

April Teagan - June 21, 2008 12:42 AM (GMT)
April was sure that Sid was trying not to be rude now, and she liked his joke anyways. It was totally true; she loved to brag about quidditch, and usually she refrained from it. But she felt lke with Sid, she could get away with it without seeming like a total jerk. She smiled at him.

"Yeah, I'm a Seeker. Good guess," she offered, laughing. "You're a beater, huh? You can sort of tell. Not that it's a bad thing. It suits you nicely. Are you any good?"

Sid Carrick - June 21, 2008 01:01 AM (GMT)
Sid snorted. "Any good?! Im the best! It runs in my family. Almost all of teh Carrick men have been Beaters. All of them haev played Quidditch though." He kept walking, the breeze on his face felt good. He looked at April and smiled. It was the first smile hed had since hed been back to Hogwarts. "So, what do you do around here for fun?" He asked April. "I didnt have many friends last year. I stayed to myself, mostly studying. I had bad grades and my parents made me get them up or they would take me out of the school. So I didnt have a choice." Sid felt weird for telling April a bit of his life, he never told anyone that. He brushed this thought off of his shoulders and kept walking.

April Teagan - June 21, 2008 01:05 AM (GMT)
April laughed out loud and watched him smile. He was definatelt cocky, which Apri lactually found attractive in a person. Especially Slytherins ,and definately boys. She tended to be cocky too, so they'd probably get along pretty well.

"A little cocky, huh?" she said smirking.

"There's not really too much to do around here. I mean, do homework, study, or whatever. I read a lot. Usually, I come outside and sit by those trees over there near the lake and read and talk with friends. Some days I go to the pitch and fly around, catch the snitch a few times."

April paused.

"And I like to cause trouble, when I'm with the right people." She winked at him and kept walking.

Sid Carrick - June 21, 2008 01:10 AM (GMT)
Sid laughed at Aprils comment about him being cocky. "Only if you want me to be." He said coyly.
Sid listened to April talk about what she does all day. "Oh that sounds like a load of fun." He said sarcastically. After April mentioned something about starting trouble and winking, all Sid could do was stay in place and stare at April. He found it very sexy for a girl to have a bit of guts in her, and the Quidditch playing is a nice touch. After snapping otu of his trance, he caught up with April and said, "Am I the right person?" He asked winking back.

April Teagan - June 21, 2008 01:18 AM (GMT)
April looked at him, laughing. She loved flirting with boys. She trailed her fingertips over his robe sleeve, and backed away from Sid slowly, winking again and smirking at him, that sexy smirk she knew that she had.

"If you wanna be, then come show me," she suggested. She turned around and kept walking, knowing he was going to follow her now. She had probably caught his attention, but then again, some boys were tough to get.

"Let's go Sid," she teased, laughing sharply.

Sid Carrick - June 21, 2008 01:25 AM (GMT)
Sid was a bit shocked at April. She was being quite flirtatious and he loved it. He didnt want to give in right away though. Before he decided to go anywhere with her he stayed in place and said, "Where are we going?" He smiled a coy smile, she probably knew what he was up to.

April Teagan - June 21, 2008 01:28 AM (GMT)
Sid seemed oddly surprised and shocked, and had an interesting grin spread across his face. April liked that, thought it was sort of sexy, and giggled at him. He asked where they were going, and April had a feeling he was being difficult on purpose. Expect him, of course, to be like this. She laughed.

"Well, if you'd like to stay here and be boring, then by all means, be my guest. If you want to have a good time, you can follow me," she replied, and leaned into him pretty close, and then backed away. April skipping away from him, glancing back only once and wink a little.

Sid Carrick - June 21, 2008 01:38 AM (GMT)
Sid decided he had nothing left to lose, and she wasnt going to tell them where they were going. He caught up with her, running behind her. He decided to scare her, so when he came up close behind her he grabbed her hips and picked her up for a moment. He laughed and looked at her. "Sorry. I like to have my own fun sometimes." He said smiling. They kept walking, their hands brushing one another as their arms swung.

April Teagan - June 21, 2008 01:45 AM (GMT)
April liked the way his arms held her strongly as he picked her up, even though he scared her. Her herat skipped a beat or two, but she wasn't sure if that was from being scared, or just him getting close. They kept walking, towards the forest now, and their arms and hands brushed each others several times. She blushed.

She tended to get embarassed easily with guys, even if she was a total flirt. She knew she really put herself out there, and its how she was. Often, her cheeks went red and she bit her lip, but it was okay. Boys never mentioned it. She didn't grab his hand, because that was the boy's job, she thought.

"Forest," she muttered. "We aren't allowed, so naturally, let's go in," she suggested, smirking at him and leading the way into the overgrown brush and high towering trees.

Sid Carrick - June 21, 2008 01:59 AM (GMT)
Sid smiled. "I like your thinking." He said winking at her. He didnt grab her hand yet, he was waiting for the right moment. They entered the forest and Sid made sure he knew where his wand was. You never know what happens in the forest. They kept going and then finally he had to ask. "So, where are we going?" He asked.

April Teagan - June 21, 2008 02:15 AM (GMT)
"Well, I've come out here a few times before, and we always get attacked by something," she said, trying to scare him. "So maybe, something will finish you off." She smirked at him and walked.

As they two of them walked, the trees got taller and darker shades of green. The light filtered through the trees, but only barely, so it became pretty dark. April kept her wand at the ready, her other hand still brushing by Sid's once and awhile. They were pretty close now.

"Scared?" she teased hi, but knew he wasn't. She loved to make being nervous though, especially when she was completely at ease. She was used to be attacked i nthe forest, by creatures and people. She gave an involuntary shiver though, thinking of Flame.

Sid Carrick - June 21, 2008 02:20 AM (GMT)
Sid laughed at Aprils remark. "Yeah I bet youd miss me if something finished me off." He said. He knew that she was flirting with him, he liked it, but wasnt good at flirting back. The moe they kept walking, the darke and darker it got. Sid couldnt help but wonder where they were headed. He kept his wand out. He head Aprils remark about him being scared. He snorted and said, "You wish." They kept walking and their hands kept rubbing. This was annoying Sid so he grabbed he hand up without even thinking about it.

April Teagan - June 21, 2008 02:31 AM (GMT)
April felt him grab her hand and hold it, which was good since it had started getting a little nerve wracking the more they kept doing the awkward hand brushing thing. Sid told her that he wasn't scared, but April smirked.

"You are scared. That's why you're holding my hand," she teased him, sticking out her tongue like a little kid. She noticed it was pretty dark i nthe forest.

"But, yeah, I think I would miss you if something happened. I'd have no one to take pointless walks into dangerous forests with," she said, smirking. Her wand was still out, and she lit it with a spell so they could see. Her hand that was held by his was pulsing anxiously.

Sid Carrick - June 23, 2008 08:52 PM (GMT)
Sid smiled. "Ah see you're wrong. You only think Im scared. Im just trying to not get eaten." He said laughing. He heard her comment about missing him. "Well Im glad that you want to take these walks with me." he said squeezing her hand slightly. He could feel the pulse in it. He felt he was holdign her hand too tigtly, so he let lose a bit, holding her hand more softly.

April Teagan - June 23, 2008 09:55 PM (GMT)
April shook her head gently. She could feel the tigh grip of her hand in his, and it was a relief for her for some reason. The feel of his pulse against hers was comforting in the forest setting, and maybe even because of other reasons. She smirked at him.

"If you think about, you'll be the first to be eaten. You're bigger and probably the better meal," she said, sticking her tongue at him and raising her eyebrows.

"Although, on second thought, you might not taste very good. I, on the other hand, would be a very tasty meal I'm sure," she said, self satisfied, and marched on.

Sid Carrick - June 23, 2008 10:37 PM (GMT)
All he could do was stare at her. Her comment made him think of things he need not to be thinking of. "I bet you would taste better. I guess Ill just have to find out." Sid said running over to April adn picking her up and biting (gently) on her upper arm. He sat her back down and smiled. "Yum you do taste good! A lot better than I would taste." He said smiling sexily at her. "So are we almost there or are we walking around aimlessly?" He asked.

April Teagan - June 23, 2008 10:43 PM (GMT)
April tried to run away as Sid grabbed her and picked her up, gently biting her i nthe arm. Squirming, he let her go, and then stood there as if he had just done something extremely funny. He seemed pretty satisfied with himself, and April could only laugh at his little sexy smirk set on his face.

"Yum you do taste good! A lot better than I would taste."

April laughed gently, nodding her head.

"I bet I do taste better than you," she said confidently, winking at him. "Although, we'll never know." April loved to tease.

They began walking, because Sid seemed to think that they had a set place to go. April wasn't exactly sure where she could lead him, but then she had an idea. She trekked forward for a few paces, and then turned to the left and headed deeper into the wood. Her hand found Sid's again, since she liked the feel of it, and urged him onward.

"I'll take you somewhere really nice," she said, smiling fully at him and exposing a full set of white perfectly aligned teeth.

Sid Carrick - June 23, 2008 10:49 PM (GMT)
Sid followed. He understood the game April was playing. He had no problem playing along. He followed her in silence and heard her say she was taking him to a nice place. He smiled at her, knowing, almost for a fact, that it would not be a nice place, she would be playing games with him again. He followed, holding her hand. Sid was getting tired of her teasing games, he wanted to kiss her and also wanted her to not tease. He did love it but he wasnt sure if she liked him or not. He hoped they would be arriving soon.

April Teagan - June 23, 2008 10:57 PM (GMT)
April lead him through a path that she knew pretty well, having been here before. She could feel the skepticism in every bone of his body, and he most likely thought that she was about to lead him somewhere horrible. April liked this, because he would be pleasantly surprised. Surprises were what April treasured the most in her life, and also, taking a bit of a risk.

"Okay, close your eyes," she demanded, a few paces away from where she was headed.

Sid Carrick - June 23, 2008 11:09 PM (GMT)
He was tired of walking, but then he heard April say 'close yoru eyes.' He did as he was told and sighed. He was hoping it was going to be a nice surprise, but he doubted it. He waited for April to let him open his eyes.

April Teagan - June 24, 2008 12:08 AM (GMT)
April took a few gentle steps, guiding Sid with her hand. She was walking backward, and almost tripped over a giant boulder in her way. She sighed and kicked it aside, making sure that Sid went around it easily.

Brushing aside a canopy of leaves and branches, April stepped onto a small little riverbed. There was a little hammock laid across from two tress, put there by some older student perhaps. A small stream gurgled and bubbled and frothed along, winding through the trees and rocks. April looked at it serenly before turning back to Sid.

She took a step forward, leaning up to his height, and kissed him gently, putting her hands around his neck, right up against him.

Sid Carrick - June 24, 2008 12:23 AM (GMT)
Sid still had his eyes covered when he heard a noise. Like water. He didnt open his eyes until April kissed him. He couldnthelp but open his eyes. He looked and April was right in front of him. He looked around to see where they were. "Oh what a nice surprise." Sid said in his low voice. He looked at April and smiled his pretty smile. He leaned in as kissed her himself. It tasted and felt so good. He walked up to the hammock and laid down. He made sure his short crept up a bit so April could see his defined abs. He put his arms behind his head adn watched the stream. "This is nice." He said looking at her.

April Teagan - June 24, 2008 12:39 AM (GMT)
After he kissed her again, April smiled despite herself and watched Sid meander over to the hammock and lay down. His shirt lifted up slightly, whether he meant it to or not, and she caught a look at his nicely toned abs. Her eyes widened and she sort of gaped awkwardly for a moment before she caught herself and coughed gently.

April walked over to Sid and sat on the edge of the hammock, staring at him interestingly.

"Do you like it? I thought you would enjoy two pleasant surprises in one moment," she said, smiling again and showing her teeth. She seemed to be doing a lot of this lately around Sid. It was a nice change.

Sid Carrick - June 25, 2008 07:49 PM (GMT)
Sid watched April walk over to him laying on the hammock. She realyl was beautiful. He heard her comment. "Yes I did enjoy both surprises." He said laying his head back watching teh sky and listening to the stream. He motioned for April to lay with him. She wasa nice change for Sid, he liked it.

April Teagan - June 25, 2008 07:52 PM (GMT)
Sid seemed to want April to lay down with him, which would probably be comforting after all of the walking. She swung her legs onto the hammock and laid against him. His chest felt warm on her back, and she could tell he was very chiseled and toned. April liked that in a guy, whether she had ever thought about it before or not. The sound of the bubbling stream was so relaxing, but April didn't want to fal lasleep just yet, although she was comfortable next to Sid.

"So, tell me something about yourself," she said finally, looking up at him through long lashes and her deep blue eyes.

Sid Carrick - June 25, 2008 08:06 PM (GMT)
Sid sat up smiling. "Well Im a pure blood family..." Sid stopped himself there. He decided to steer clear from that talk. Not everyone needed to know about his family. "I have a younger sister. Lived in London my whole life. I used to do a lot of running around back in the day." He said laughing to himself. He then looked at April. "Tell me about yourself now that Ive todl you a little about me."

April Teagan - June 25, 2008 09:10 PM (GMT)
April sighed and closed her eyes for a moment, and then smiled at no one in particular.

"Well, I'm a pureblood too. My mom's a crazy pureblood extremist and my dad does a lot fo business. I have a sister who just graduated from Hogwarts last year, and we hate each other a ton."

April stopped, knowing she tended to talk alot if someone didn't stop her, so she had cut herself off early.

"I tend to talk alot, if yu haven't notice, so I have to stop myself," she said, giggling.

Sid Carrick - June 25, 2008 09:22 PM (GMT)
Sid smiled while listening to April. He pulled her closer after she said she talked too much. "Well I was always told I dont talk enough so it works out." Sid said. He didnt know exactly what he meant by working out. He shook the thought away and decided to sit up. He did so, still holding on to April. He smiled at her and said, "Thats awesome that were both purebloods." He said his grin bigger than ever. He decided to ask her a question that was pounding through his head. "So is your family, anyone in it a...follower of you know who?" He said sounding scared. He didnt want her to know his side of the family if she was resistance-esque.

April Teagan - June 25, 2008 09:28 PM (GMT)
April felt really comfortable with Sid, which was often hard for her sometimes. They seemed to have side-stepped the awkward first meeting stage, and become friends very quickly. April was glad, because she often found it hard to tal kto someone, and it was good to have an actual real conversation with someone.

"Yes, mommy would be happy I'm with purebloods," she said, smiling but rolling her eyes.

Sid's next question gave her the chills, although she felt able to answer it because to most people, it didn't matter. She never really shared this type of stuff with anyone ,but she felt that Sid was the right person to divulge it to.

"Well, I mean, my mom sort of believes in the whole concept of it. She definately thinks the death eaters have the right idea... but she would never become one herself. I mean, she's sort of a pacifist, or just afraid I guess, but she's definately a follower of the cause. My dad just stays out of it altogether. And my sister is more like the resistance type, but she doesn't really say that, because my mom favors her."

"As for me, I have no preference either way. I think they have the right idea, but I wouldn't go around killing people. I have friends who are muggleborns and stuff. But they can't help it..." April trailed off.

"What about you and your family?"

Sid Carrick - June 25, 2008 09:44 PM (GMT)
Sids heart fell to the pit of his stomace. He smiled still, it was hard. He really like April so he figured he could tell her. "My whole family is death eaters. Im not one, but Ive seen my parents serve for the dark lord. They have done horrible things. Im not really for it or against it, but I do like their concept. I guess I kind of follow the death eaters, but Id never kill anyone." Sid said. he smiled, letting April know he told her the absolute truth, in which he did. He stood up and walked to teh stream. He splashed some water on his face then decided to take his shirt off and splash water on his chest. He knew April would be watching, but eh didnt care, he was hot and sweaty.

April Teagan - June 25, 2008 10:49 PM (GMT)
April nodded her head through this, knowing that Sid was telling her the truth, no matter how hard it was for him to do. For this reason, she respected him. Although she herself was not really totally for the death eater cause, she udnerstood that many families were, and Sid couldn't help the way he was brought up. The conversation obviously had made him uncomfortable, though.

He got up and walked to the stream, taking off his shirt and getting himself all wet. April watched with a hungry expression on his face, because he was pretty hot, and it was hard not to stare. She gandered over and splashed a bit of water on her face as well, staring at him still through the droplets.

"A little hot?" she asked him, flirting, and splashed a little water onto him as well.

Sid Carrick - June 25, 2008 11:01 PM (GMT)
SId smiled. He began to splash April back. "A bit, but nto as hot as you." He said flirtatiously. He grinned at her and went over and kissed her. He wanted to know more about her. He really liked her, btu didnt want to be with her officially until he kenw more about her.

April Teagan - June 25, 2008 11:13 PM (GMT)
April was already feeling into Sid, but she knew that they both needed to get to know each other better. Before she could say anything, he was flirting with her back and kissing her again, which felt really amazing. They both stepped out of the stream and onto the dry bank, still kissing, and back onto the hammock.

April pushed him in a sitting position of the hammock, and straddled him, kissing him a little harder. Her eyes were closed and she had be arms around his neck tightly. She was putting everything in her into kissing him, because her blood was raging from his simple kiss.

She opened her eyes, stopping, and smiled at him widely.
