Carly had just been recently wandering the halls. It was pretty late and she had nothing better to do. She could've been sleeping, but she wasn't tired at all. She kept thinking a lot about her future. She's been doing that more than she would like lately. She wanted something to take her mind off of it.

She always found the Astronomy Tower to be a place she could relax in. That and the Quidditch Pitch, of course. But it was too dark out for that. She made her way up to the Astronomy Tower to find it empty. She sat down, sort of just staring off for a bit. She hoped someone would come along, but figured the chances were slim.

OOC: Sid is rude, btu dont take it the wrong way! He will be crushin on Carly, but he doesnt know her yet! Hes always rude at first!


Sid was tired of sitting in the common room with the first year Slytherins getting on hsi nerves. He decided to go some place secluded. He went to teh astronomy tower, hoping to be alone. He walked up the stairs and opened the door. after opening teh door, he had a frown on his face. Oh great anothe little kid to bother me. He thought to himself. He was reluctant to walk in, but decided to anyways.

He walked in and sat down a few feet from the girl. He didnt say anything, just opened his book and began to read.

OOC: Haha, it's fine. Carly's the same way. It should be fun to see how this happens. :P


Carly was still thinking about her future. She wished she could figure out why. She didn't want to. She still had so long to think about it. She almost felt pressured, though. She was lost in her own thoughts.

To her surprise, there had now been a boy sitting a few feet from her. He kind of scared her, since she wasn't expecting him to be there. She didn't even hear anyone come in. She looked at him, looked around, then back at him. "Uh, you could warn a girl you know."

Sid looked up at the girl. She was strikingly beautiful. He was lost for words for a moment then decided to sit closer to her. "I just needed some alone time. And you didnt look like you wanted to be bothered." He said. He kept staring at her, then looked away to try to not make it obvious. "Sid Carrick." He said looking at her smiling.

Carly noticed that he was staring at her. This kind of scared her. But she brushed it off. "Carly."

She then noticed that he was pretty good looking. She also took notice to his robes. Slytherin. This was good. He didn't seem like one, though. He seemed pretty nice. "You seem like you'd have something better to do then sit up here." She still wasn't being as nice as she should've been.

She was like this with everyone when she first met them. It was just her typical Slytherin way. She leaned back and waited for his answer.

Sid looked at the girl with a rude expression. "Carly eh? Nice name." He was being nicer than hsi usual self. He didnt know why. "Dont you have something better to do than be rude all day?" He said in his normal rude mannor. He didnt like her remark she made, so he hit her with a good one.

Carly shot him a look. She didn't like his attitude. Actually, she wasn't sure what to think of it. She hated how all Slytherins were rude, along with herself, but she kind of liked the mysterious way of it all. She smirked.

"You know, i probably do." She paused for a moment. "But it's probably not as fun." She softened her tone a little bit. She loved giving her attitude, but this boy was cute and she didn't want to scare him off just yet.

Sid gave the girl a coy smirk. He liked her spunk. He smiled his unforgettable smile and said, "Im glad you get entertainment out of being rude. Thats the heart of a Slytherin I guess." He said. "So, what are you doing up here, for real?" He said trying to be sweet. Flashing his smile, and checking her out was his method of being sweet.

When he smiled, Carly couldn't help but stare for a few moments. He had a really nice smile. She could stare at that all day. She did not want to look like he had any affect on her. She loved to play hard to get.

"Well, i couldn't sleep. I was just walking around for a while, but that got boring. So i came up here." She looked around. "Not much more exciting, but it works." She looked at him. "And unexpected company is always.." She smirked. "interesting."

She looked him in the eyes. She had a stare that could catch anyones attention. With that she smiled. "And what are you doing here?"

Sid stuttered for a moment. He couldnt help it, Carlys eyes were breathtaking. He finally got out of his trance and said, "Oh ya know. I was flying on my broom on the grounds then decided to explore a bit." He said smiling. He didnt know what to say, so he let there be an akward silence for a moment.

She smiled. There was a moment of silence, so Carly spoke up. "Well, i guess you're lucky i was up here then." She smirked. She then slid a little closer to him, still smirking. "Now you don't have to be alone." She then leaned back, crossing her legs.

"So, you like to fly?"

Sid smiled his good smile at her. He watched her scoot closer to him, and also watched as she crossed her legs. He couldnt keep his eyes off of her. "Id like to not be alone with you." He said leaning in a bit closer to her, staring into her eyes. He wanted to put his arm around her, but felt it was too soon. He heard her ask about his flying. "Oh yes. Im a beater on teh Slytherin team. Almost all of my family have been beaters on teh Slytherin team, so Im just keeping tadition." He said cooly. he leaned in a lot cloer. "Do you liek to fly." He said giving her a smile.

"Hm.." She smiled as he got closer to her. He smelt good, she loved that. And that smile was amazing. It was something that would be burned in her mind for a while. "What a nice coincidence..i'm the other beater for Slytherin." She played with her hair a little bit. "Don't know how we missed that. Guess it's 'cause we haven't had practice yet."

She smirked, looking him up and down. She was so glad he came along. "Well i'm looking forward to working with you." She looked him in the eyes again, smiling.

"Same here." He said smiling. He looked her up and down and then said, "To be honest with you, I didnt expect you to play Quidditch. But its awesome you do. Want to go flying?" He asked in a deeper tone.

She smiled. "You know, most people don't expect it out of me. But believe me, i'm rough." She winked at him. She loved to flirt. She could tell he did, too. This was much more fun than just walking around. She ran her one finger up and down his arm a few times. "Well, we can fly.." She smirked, then stopped touching his arm. "if you think you can keep up with me."

Carly was cocky and she knew it. Atleast she had a reason to be. She had been flying ever since she could walk.

Sid liked teh way she was touching his arm. She said her comment then Sid gave her a sexy smile. "It should bet he otehr way around: can you keep up with me." Sid said still smiling.

Carly laughed cooly. "Oh really? That smile can't help you succeed in everything. You may need some actual talent for flying." She smirked. She was only kidding. Her voice was very calm and her eyes stared at him flirtaciously. She bit her lip.

Carly was very attracted to Sid. She wanted to kiss him, but didn't want to let him get her that easy. She would flirt all she could, but wanted him to work for her. She loved to see a guy work to get to her, it was sexy.

Sid watched he every move. He almost had to. He couldnt tell what she was going to do next. He watched her bite her lip, wanting to bite it himself. "Oh I got talent baby." He said. He accioed his broom. He was really good at simple spells. His firebolt landed right in his hand. He didnt even turn his head and look away from Carly the whole time. "Want to see some of it?" He said cooly after mounting the broom.

Carly continued to stare in his eyes. When he mounted his broom, she raised an eyebrow and smirked. "In fact, i think i would." She leaned forward. "Guess you have to impress me somehow." She gave him a flirty look.

She laughed a little. "Good luck." She gave him a small wink.

Sid took off from the ground. He zipped around everywhere in the astronomy tower. He even flew right past Carly and brushed his hand across her shoulders and back. He looked at her and smiled then flew out the window. The window being small, he figured this would impress her a bit. He was hoping she was watching from teh astronomy tower window. He did a nose dive and pulled up from it just before he hit the ground. He flew back into the air and did barrel roll after barrell roll. He got a bit dizzy, but then stopped in mid air. He did a hand stand on his airborne broom and after this, he flew back into the tower, hovered his broom a few feet from teh ground. He stood up on his broom and did a somersault off of it, landing square on his feet and grabbing his broom all in teh same second. He gave Carly a sexy smile. "Thats how the Carick family does it." He said.

She smiled and bit her lip again. She loved to see a guy on a broom. Sid looked especially good doing it. "Very impressed. I think playing quidditch with you will be a real treat." She looked up at him, patting the seat next to her for him to sit.

"So you've caught my attention for a few minutes. Better take advantage of that." She smirked and leaned back again.

He sat down next to her in a hurry. "I think I'll like playing Quidditch with you too. Maybe we should practice, alone, sometime." He said flashing his sexy smile. He heard her say that he caught her attention, so he put his arm around her and said, "Well what is that supposed to mean?"

Carly smiled when he put his arm around her. She then turned her head to look at him. Their faces were just inches apart. She made sure she made eye contact with him. "Well, it could mean many things." She smirked. "I'm sure you can figure it out."

All Sid could think is this is one amazing woman. He stared into her eyes for a long time. he wanted to kiss her, but was contemplating. He heard her comment and decided it was the right time. He leaned in, smiling the hwole way, and gently pecked her on the lips. Their lips stayed connected for a moment after they kissed, Sid pulled away and couldnt get the dumbfounded stare off of his face. He shook it away finally and said, "Did I figure it out." He said smiling.

Carly was glad he figured it out. She wasn't afraid to make the first move, but it was better when the guy did it. And it was definitely good right now. When they kissed, she actually felt really happy for a change. Happy with everything. This was good.

She smiled back at him. "You figured it out." She paused, looking at him for a moment then kissed him again.

Sid smiled. He liked how she kissed him back quickly. It took him by surprise. He stood up then, not knowing what to do, and looked out the astronomy towers window. He turned and smiled at Carly. Beckinging her to come to the window with him.

Carly smiled when he gestured for her to come over. She quickly stood up and walked over next to him, looking out the window. It was such a nice night. The sky was clear and you could see all the stars. These nights were her favorite. She gazed up at all the stars, the moon making her blue eyes shine. "It's beautiful." Is all she could say.

Sid looked Carly directly in the eyes after saying this. He smiled and deepened his voice. He grabbed her had, by putting his hand underneath her hair. "Not as beautiful as you." He said. He then leaned in and kissed her hard. He pulled away and awaited her reaction.

When Sid said this, Carly barely had any time to smile before he kissed her. This was a much better kiss than before. She was shocked, but kissed him back just the same. When he pulled away, she just looked in his eyes, smiling. Her mouth was open a little because she wanted to speak but wasn't sure what to say. This boy was really something else.

"You really know how to make a girls night." She smirked, biting her lip.

Sid smiled. her lips tasted sweet. He enjoyed kissing her. He heard her comment and then pushed his hair out of his face. "Well I try." He said a bit cocky. He sat back down, waiting and hoping for Carly to make his night.

Carly smirked. She did like his cockyness. He definitely had the room to be cocky. She watched as he sat back down. He was so good looking. She wondered how she ended up here with him. However it happened, she was glad it did.

She walked over to him and sat on his lap, throwing one arm around his neck and smirking. "Now i guess i can only hope you're enjoying your night." She smirked.

Sid smiled brightly as soon as Carly sat on his lap. He looked up at her and responded. "Oh I hope I do." He said gazing into her eyes. He wasnt sure what to do next. He did like girls, expecially if they are sitting on his lap, but he didnt want to go to far with her then end up not dating or liking her. He was a bit confused.

Carly looked into his eyes as he looked into hers. She could tell he was thinking, but she didn't know what about. She wished she did. She hated not knowing what anyone was thinking. It bothered her. It also bothered her that he didn't look like he was thinking happy things. He looked confused. This obviously got to her because she rolled her eyes and stood up.

"Great. I know that look." She put her hands on her hips. "What did i do?"

Sid felt bad. "No its not you, I just dont want to end up using you. I dont want to go to fast. I really like you." Sid said very sincerely. He did like her a lot. He wanted her to know that. He also wanted her to sit and talk about herself. He wanted to know everything about her.

When he said this, Carly couldn't help but be mad for a few moments. Then it really sank in. She honestly couldn't believe a guy said that to her. She's not use to hearing those things. He was different. It was strange, but she really liked it. She felt respected for once. Her hands then fell from her hips and she smiled a little. "That's probably the nicest thing a guy has ever said to me."

She then sat down next to him. She wasn't sure what to do next now. She waited for him to talk.

Sid smiled. He was relieved that Carly was flattered by his remark. That was his plan. He felt very strongly for her, he did not know why. All he knew is that he must know moe abut this girl.

He sat down next to her. "So, tell me about yourself, anything and everything."

Carly smiled at him for a moment, then looked around to think. She had no idea what to say. She kept thinking about how strange it was that he liked her but just wanted to get to know her. This made her feel really good about herself. She liked this boy.

"Not much to say. Typical Slytherin. Love flying and adventure. I'll do anything if it'll assure me some fun." She smirked, thinking of all those things. She then looked back at him. "Tell me something about you."

Sid smiled. "Well were about the same then my dear. I like adventure, flying, trouble. Ya know, typical slytherin. Something interesting though, my family is death eaters. But I dont believe in the whole half blood is mud blood thing. Everyone is equal in my book." Sid said walking across the room. He wanted to ask her to be his girlfriend now, bu he didnt want to startle her. There was something about her that made him melt inside. He had to have her for his own.

"Would you like to go out with me sometime." He said sheepishly.

As she listened to him, she couldn't help but begin to like him just a little bit more with each sentence he spoke. She really liked the way he thought. He was a true Slytherin, but he didn't completely hate mudbloods. That was good, because neither did she. It was hard to anyway these days, there were more and more of them in the school each year.

As he walked across the room, she stared at him. He was so cute. She wondered what he was thinking. He then bluntly asked her to go out sometime. Carly smiled. He was pretty forward, and that was a good thing to her. "Well, i think i can make some time for you." She winked at him.

Sid shined after she accepted his offer. He was a bti afraid that she might have another guy in mind and would have said no. He walked up to her while speaking. "Well we can go anywhere, at any time. I will let you decided because you are the lady." Sid said this then gently reached down and grabber her hand and kissed it. He looked up at her to see her reaction.
