Title: Feeling Sick
Description: Open to anyone

Aria Casanov - June 21, 2008 01:12 PM (GMT)
Aria walked into the hospital wing, perfectly dressed as always. She wore a emerald green velvet dress and robe set with an empire waist. He long, shiny black hair hung loose and perfectly brushed.

She did not feel as fine as she appeared, however. Her head was throbbing, and she felt nauseous and dizzy. Her body ached and her chest felt constricted. She was hardly ever sick, so when the symptoms hadn't gone away by themselves she had finally come to the hospital wing.

She didn't see any medi-witch/wizard around so she sank tiredly into an empty chair and cradled her head in her hands, waiting.

Jeraud Cynster - June 22, 2008 07:21 PM (GMT)
Jer had been busy with paperwork when he suddenly out of completely no where heard the doors to the hospital wing open and close. Stopping his writing, with his hand above the papers on his desk, he listened to the footsteps of the person walk along. When they finally stopped and he heard that same exact person sink onto one of the beds in the wing he thought it time to go out and see who had made their presence.

Standing up out of the chair Jer ran a hand through his hair and fixed the glasses that were perched on his pointed nose to make himself look more presentable. Brushing his clothes off which consisted of a dark blue button down shirt, black slacks, and a black cloak that billowed around his ankles as he walked. Turning out of the small office in the Hospital he moved out into the wing his hazel eyes looking around for the stranger. Once his eyes landed on a woman with her head in her hands Jer began to strode over his pace a little quickened hoping the lady wasn't bleeding.

"Excuse me Miss...." Jer called out as he made his way in front of her and conjured up a rolling chair which he took a seat in as he studied the woman. She sure looks familiar, he thought to himself before asking, "What can I help you with?"

Aria Casanov - June 22, 2008 07:26 PM (GMT)
Aria looked up when she heard the chair roll up in front of her and someone speak to her.

"Hello," she said, extending her right hand. Sick or not, Aria was a pure-blood and she had been strictly drilled on manners throughout her whole life. "I'm Aria Casanov," She offered a small smile, one, however, that did not reach her eyes.

Then she answered his question, "I'm feeling a bit sick," she replied, "Do you have anything I can take to feel better?"

Jeraud Cynster - June 22, 2008 07:45 PM (GMT)
As Jer sat in front of her and watched the woman look up he instantly knew who she was. Being a medi-wizard at the Hospital wing usually led him to knowing the professors and staff of Hogwarts. Though on how well he knew them, that was a different story. Most he only knew by name while others like Roxane and Gen he knew more about and had actually talked with.

Tuning out his thoughts at this point Jer listened to Aria's, the Defense Against Dark Art's Professor, introduce herself and extend a hand in greeting. Taking a hold of her hand he shook hers gently flashing her a smile. Jer had to admit he was quite surprised at the manners coming from her. Especially when she went on to answer his question. Anyone who happened to be sick usually became a pain in the....well you know where. Nevertheless Jer thought this a nice change.

"Nice to actually meet you Aria, do you mind being called by your first name? I don't like so much formality. Anyways I'm Jeraud, or Jer, Cynster." Pulling his hand away from hers he smiled once more at the woman and studied her, his hazel eyes taking in her appearance. For being sick Jer had to admit Aria looked quite good with her emerald velvet dress and matching cloak. Usually people looked a lot worse when being sick but the woman before him didn't look like it in the least bit. Chuckling quietly at this he let his hazel eyes fade to her face as he spoke.

"Well I'm sure we do have something for you to take. Though to find the best thing I'm going to need to know your symptoms. Are you having headaches? Nausea? Throwing up?" Trailing off he sat up in his chair and let his hand right hand move to her forehead to see if she was running a temperature.

Solana Lilly - June 22, 2008 07:54 PM (GMT)
Aria could see that she had suprised him, and she knew that it was because she didn't look sick. She was pale, yes, but she was pale normally. And dressed impecably as usual.

"You may call me Aria if you wish," she replied to Jeraud, taking in his appearance. He was quite good-looking and she wondered briefly about his blood status.

She hoped he didn't want to physically examine her because that could prove to be a problem if her saw her forearm...

"Ah, my symptoms," she said, pushing back a wave of dizziness. "I have a headache, and I'm slightly nauseous and dizzy, and my chest feels..., well it's hard to breathe. But I'm sure it's nothing too bad, I'm hardly ever sick."

[OOC: I didn't switch before I posted...oops, im going to go do that now :). Sorry]

Jeraud Cynster - June 22, 2008 08:09 PM (GMT)
Jer let his hand rest on her forehead for a few moments before lifting it away from her and nodding slightly to himself. Aria did have a high temperature one that you could instantly tell just by barely touching her forehead. He frowned slightly at this news but listened on as she commented on the calling her by her first name. He flashed her his trademark lop sided grin as she said it was fine.

"Alright then, Aria it is," Jer announced briefly as he listened on to Aria who was now naming off her symptoms. There was definitely no mistaking she was sick and by the sound of it hers seemed to be so bad because she rarely got sick. Some of the worst cases happened then. He learned this from experience.

"Well Aria I'm sure that's exactly why this cold is a bad one. I've learned from experience that people who rarely get sick get the some of the worst cases," Trailing off with a small sad smile on his face Jer reached for the woman's wrist and took her pulse. Sure some of the things he was doing were what he'd learned from the muggle healers, but he'd learned they worked.

Aria Casanov - June 22, 2008 08:13 PM (GMT)
Aria stiffened when he grabed her wrist, but since he made no move toward her forearm, she relaxed. Not only was the tattoo hard to explain understaement it also still hurt because it was new. She wondered if the symptoms could be linked, but shook that thought away. That couldn't be it.

"So," she asked Jeraud, "What do you think it is and when will it go away?"

Jeraud Cynster - June 22, 2008 08:36 PM (GMT)
As Jer went ahead and took her wrist in his hand he instantly felt Aria stiffen from his touch. Glancing up to her he flashed her an apologetic smile. Inside his mind he cursed himself for not asking her permission first or at least tell her what he was going to do.

"I'm sorry I didn't meant to startle you or anything. I should have asked your permission first. From now on I'll tell you what I'm going to do before or as I do it, okay?" Without waiting for an answer Jer let go of her wrist and sat it gently in her lap before pushing the glasses he wore farther on his nose as they'd slid down. Once this task was finished he conjured a stethoscope. A muggle healers tool that let the healer listen to the heart of their patient. He thought this tool useful as Aria was having a hard time breathing.

"Alright Aria this thing her that I have will help me listen to your heart and breathing. Something I feel the need to do because as you said you have a hard time breathing." Trailing off for a moment he lifted the stethoscope earpieces into his ear then hovered the round piece of metal before the woman as he glanced up to her. “I'm going to have to put this on your chest near your heart then Against your back….” Trailing off at this point Jer watched Aria his words were asking her if it was okay for him to do so. As he waited for her answer he went ahead and answered her last question.

"Well once you take the potion it'll take at least two hours to start working. I know that sounds like a pain but it's the best way of going about things."

Aria Casanov - June 23, 2008 12:47 AM (GMT)
Aria heard Jeraud apologize. It was sort of sweet really, that he would...She shook that thought from her head.

"No, you didn't startle me," she replied Aria, "It's just - my arm hurts a bit, I bumped it and it's bruised." Inwardly she thought that was the worst lie ever, but she hoped he'd buy it.

"You can listen to my breath, I don't mind," She continued. The potion taking two hours kind of p****d her off though. She felt like crap, she really wanted the whole feeling to just dissapear.

Jeraud Cynster - June 23, 2008 07:32 PM (GMT)
Listening to Aria speak Jer could only raise a curious eyebrow. He didn’t believe her lie in the least bit, but he thought he’d just go along with it. Sometimes it was for the best. As she went ahead and told him to go ahead and do his job he flashed her a smile before putting round metal part of the stethoscope against her chest near her heart. He was quiet as he did this his hazel eyes closing in concentration. Part of knew this must be awkward for Aria since he knew most magical healers didn’t both with this, but he was different. He usually incorporated both magical and muggle healing. Each one having their pros and cons.

Trailing off out of his thoughts Jer opened his eyes as he removed the metal piece from her chest and stood up and moved to her back. Once he was there he leaned toward Aria and put the metal piece against her back and said, “When I tell you to breathe in and out do as I say please.” Going through this part of the checking of her breathing Jer finally removed the stethoscope from his ears once he the third breathe in and out passed and sat the piece of equipment around his neck letting it hang. As he moved in front of her and back in his rolling chair he glanced up to Aria before speaking.

“First off I know exactly which potion you need and only need to go and grab it. Secondly I think once you get the potion down and into your system you should be as good as knew. The potion making it’s way into your system is what takes the two hours. And three if you would like I could take a look at the arm for you or you could just take with you some ointment that’ll clear that nasty brose right up….” Trailing off Jer let his hazel eyes stray to Aria’s own as a hint of amusement sparkled in his eyes and the knowing smile that was on his lips. He wanted to show her he knew she’d been lying. For some reason he wanted to see her squirm under her own lie. Nevertheless part of Jer had a feeling she wouldn’t because of the way she held herself. Even so he kept his gaze locked with hers trying to unnerve her in a way. After all did the eyes hold a persons soul?

Aria Casanov - June 23, 2008 07:49 PM (GMT)
Aria met Jeraud's eyes, as he offered to look at her arm. A part of her wanted to agree, to see his amused eyes turn to shock at the sight of the black and blue bruise, and the tattoo that had caused it. She wanted to see his reaction, anyone's that wasn't her parents or her comrades...but she knew doing that would be foolish.

She would risk her jobs, and even though she didn't need the money, it was a good position to spy from, both Hogwarts and the Ministry. Besides, the oinment might have an adverse reaction to the tattoo and Dark Magic for all she knew.

Instead she dropped her eyes from his gaze, suprising herself and said coolly, "I think my arm will be just fine."

She gave him another of her false smiles. "Thank you for everything though," she said softly. She couldn't understand why she felt drawn to him, only that he had to be the most nicest person she had ever met.

Suddenly, nausea bubbled up in her stomache. "Excuse me," she mumbled and dashed off for the bathroom.

Jeraud Cynster - June 23, 2008 08:47 PM (GMT)
As Jer continued to gaze into Aria’s eyes as she debated on an answer he could only smile. When she finally did speak he chuckled softly shaking his head. He’d been right when thinking she’d continue to go along with the lie. Of course he shouldn’t have been surprised, but for a moment there he thought maybe, just maybe, he had her. Even though that didn’t come true along with his wishes of watching her squirm Jer smiled at Aria and just nodded.

“Alright if you wish,” Jer announced just as she flashed him a smile and thanked him. Though if that smile was real or not, he couldn’t be sure. “Your welcome Aria. After all it’s my job.” Saying this he looked to the woman before him and flashed her his lop sided grin as he got up out of his seat and pulled the stethoscope from around his neck and pulled out his wand making both pieces of equipment disappear. When he turned back to look at Aria it was to see her running off and into the bathroom a hand over her mouth. Raising an eyebrow he headed after her.

When Jer finally made it to the bathroom it was to see Aria leaning over the toilet and well…vomiting. Frowning at her state Jer made his way forward and announced, his words soft, “Here let me help you.” As he finished his sentence he kneeled down beside the woman and gently took hold of the hair she’d been trying to hold back. As his hazel eyes glanced quickly to her face Jer waited patiently for her to finish. All a long a small thought running through his head. If I didn’t know any better I would have guessed she’s pregnant. Though after further examining her he knew for sure she wasn’t.

OOC: I know I sort of god moded here. Sorry but it wouldn't have worked quite right with what I wanted to post. If you have a problem with it just let me know. =]

Aria Casanov - June 23, 2008 08:58 PM (GMT)
[ OOC: No, no problem, that's actually an interesting idea...but is it true? lol ]

Aria felt Jer's hands come and grab her hair, which was a hassle to hold back, due to it's thickness.

She finished emptying what little was in her stomache to begin with and stood up, feeling dizzy again. She walked over to the sink and rinsed her mouth with a weird smelling mouthwash, (it worked thought) and turned back to face Jeraud.

"Sorry about that," she said, blushing a little. "You didn't need to..you know." She wasn't happy about being observed in an embarrasing situation.

He had an odd look in his eyes, as if he were pondering something as he stared at her.

"What is it?" she asked, realizing they were both still in the same cramped bathroom.

Jeraud Cynster - June 23, 2008 09:35 PM (GMT)
Once Aria was finished he let go of her hair and watched as she stood up and fixed herself up. Seeing her face when she used the mouthwash he could only laugh aloud. He knew it probably didn’t taste very good especially from all the complaints he’d been getting from the students that would stay here and use the facilities. I’ll have to change it soon, he thought to himself absentminded as he stood and brushed himself off.

When Aria finally spoke up breaking the silence that had overcome the two Jer took in her words and small blush that left her pale cheeks colored pink. Smiling he waved a hand and said, “Don’t worry about it. And I know I didn’t have to. It was just instinct. Living with my mother my whole life tended to make me more considerate so to say. Anyways no need to apologize. It wasn’t your fault. After all you can’t chose when your going to be sick or not.” Trailing off he flashed Aria a smile as he made his way to the open door and gestured for her to follow. Though he stopped in his tracks when she asked a question.

“What is what?” He asked a confused glint now shining in his hazel eyes as he peered at Aria.

OOC: Only you and Aria know, lol.

Aria Casanov - June 23, 2008 09:57 PM (GMT)
Aria glared at him in the mirror when he laughed as she rinsed out her mouth. I'd like to see him try this stuffshe thought to herself.

"You're kust staring at me...like if your thinking of something but you don't want to say." She looked at him with narrowed eyes.

"You can tell me you know, I doubt I'd get angry now, I mean you watched me vomit for gods sake."

An odd and unwelcomed thought popped into her head at that moment and she tried to push it away but it stayed. I like his smile

She walked out of the small bathroom and said. "Well, are you going to tell me what you were thinking?"

She wished she was a legilimens.

Jeraud Cynster - June 23, 2008 10:16 PM (GMT)
Seeing the glare Aria shot him in the mirror made Jer just laughed more. He knew he probably shouldn’t but he couldn’t help himself. It was very amusing. At least in his opinion. When his laughter finally died down and he responded to her words and gestured her out of the bathroom he only stopped at her questioning voice. When he finally got an answer the confusion in his eyes died away as he suddenly realized what Aria meant. Before he spoke though he let her finish her rant as he walked out of the bathroom with her and shut the door behind them.

“Well if you really want to know….” Jer started letting his hazel eyes stray to Aria. Not wanting to miss her reaction. “If it weren’t for me examining you earlier, with the symptoms you have, and not knowing any better. Well I would have thought your pregnant.” Trailing off there was no smile on his face or a frown either. He stood there looking emotionless, not sure how to act on his words. So instead he waited to see how Aria reacted before doing so himself.

OOC: Hope the first paragraph makes sense and sorry about shortness!

Aria Casanov - June 24, 2008 07:14 PM (GMT)
Aria was feeling pretty ticked from being laughed at and there was an angry glint in her eyes.

Then she heard what he said next, "Well I would have thought your pregnant.”

Her face took on a shocked appearance. Pregnant? Of course she wasn't pregnant.

"Of course I'm not pregnant," she replied calmly, "There is no possible way for me to be pregnant now because-" she let her voice trail off and looked down.

Jeraud Cynster - June 24, 2008 08:02 PM (GMT)
As Jer watched Aria after his laughter had died he couldn’t help but notice the angry glint that flashed in her eyes and insisted in staying there taunting him. Frowning slightly he knew he should have laughed. It seemed that she was a touchy person and not to mention someone who held there self high. Almost as if she was better than everyone else though she had yet to really act that way around him which Jer was thankful for. He didn’t take well to snotty stuck people. They irritated him to the depths of hell and back. Nevertheless he kept his thoughts to himself and tried to redeem himself.

“I’m sorry Aria, I shouldn’t have laughed at you. Though if you were laughing also it would have been a different story. I’ll watch myself from now on,” Jer apologized as his hazel eyes strayed to her sincerity flowing thorough them. As he finished this sentence the sincerity now gone from his face and eyes as he told her what he actually had been thinking. Watching Aria he noticed the look of shock fill her facial expressions. Part of him wondered why she’d be so shocked, nevertheless he didn’t comment but listened to her speak. Hearing the words that left her mouth made him raise a quizzical eyebrow.

“What do you mean you can’t now Aria?” Jer asked almost automatically though not just for curiosity but for professional reasons. As he thought for a moment though on what he’d asked he winced slightly. He knew he should probably take it back, it wasn’t really his right to ask anyways. Then again he did have a small right. As he debated things in his mind his good nature finally kicked in and he said, a little regretfully, “You don’t have to answer that if you don’t like.”

Aria Casanov - June 24, 2008 08:19 PM (GMT)
Aria stared at Jeruad intently as he apologized. She could tell he hadn't actually meant anything by it, but she wasn't use to talking to people and having them laugh at her.

She listened to his apology and when he had finished she replied curtly "It's fine."

She heard him question her earlier response about not being pregnant now. Then he told her she didn't have to answer that.

She debated with herself a minute before saying:

"When I was twenty I traveled the world for two years, researching and aquiring all sorts of rare and priceless Wizarding books. In Spain I met a fellow Historian named Yanic. We dated for a while until I ended up pregnant and our parents insisted we married or be disowned.

Well, several events followed, which I'd rather not talk about, and a year ago a healer told me the chances of me ever getting pregnant again are less than 30%."

She took a deep breath and looked away, glad she hadn't revealed any of her emotions. "That is why I doubt I am pregnant Mr. Cynster," she concluded.

Jeraud Cynster - June 24, 2008 09:59 PM (GMT)
Jer watched as Aria thought, probably debating in her mind whether or not to answer his question. As he let her think the silence between them continuing Jer had a few possibilities why she might not be able to. One of them being she didn’t have a boyfriend or significant other. Though why she wouldn’t have one Jer could only wonder. After all she was very pretty. Especially with that form fitting dress, he thought suddenly then shook his head knowing he shouldn’t be thinking those thoughts. Even though he knew didn’t mean he would. After all he was a guy for goodness sake.

Coming out of his train of thoughts Jer listened as Aria finally spoke; answering his question surprisingly. What he heard come from her though made him frown. His curiosity grew almost instantly but of course he would force himself not to react on it. After all what Aria had said she didn’t want to talk about, plus it seemed very personal. Even so that didn’t stop him from wondering.

“Well Aria I’m sorry for asking and bringing up memories that you would rather keep to yourself tucked far away.” Flashing the woman a soft yet gentle smile he moved toward the potions where they were stacked up on the shelf which he had just fixed thanks to Fawne’s suggestion not too long ago. Reaching them he bent down and began searching mumbling as he did so, “Let’s get you that potion.”

Aria Casanov - June 24, 2008 10:09 PM (GMT)
Aria nodded at his words and watched as he trned around t find her the potion. She felt better in having told someone, not that she would admit it. As she watched him look for the potion, she smiled, a soft but true smile and she realized she liked his own lopsided grin. And him. She liked him, even thought he was nothing like the sort of perons she was expected to be seen with.

She let herself indulge in those thoughts for several seconds until he turned back around and she met his eyes, graetfully, glad to finally be able to take the potion and be rid of the cold. She hoped it wouldn't react badly to the Dark Magic that had reccently been etched into her arm.

"Jeraud," she said, switching back to the use of his first name, "I've been meaning to ask you...where did you learn those odd techniques...some of the ones you used when you were examining me?"

Jeraud Cynster - July 2, 2008 12:22 AM (GMT)
As Jer began searching he didn't speak and he soon noticed either did she. He glanced up quickly to Aria to make sure everything, actually she, was okay. As he did this the look he saw on her face was one of concentration. She was in deep thought. He sighed in relief at this as he turned back around and finished his search. Once he found the potion and gently took it and held it in his right hand he smiled and turned to Aria to tell her he'd found it, but was interrupted by her next question and full use of first name.

"Odd techniques?" Jer questioned automatically his eyebrow raised in question. Didn't she know....of course not, he thought suddenly cursing himself mentally. Standing up he dusted himself off as his arm extended toward her the bright orange potion in his hand and a soft smile on his face. "I'm sorry I forgot you probably wouldn't know."

Pausing for a moment he took a deep breathe and spoke. "They're techniques I learned while working in a muggle hospital. Most magical healers don't use them, but even so I sometimes find some muggle healing techniques useful. So in turn I use them on my patients if needed." Shrugging lightly at his words Jer watched her his hazel eyes intent as he waited for a reaction.

Aria Casanov - July 2, 2008 08:36 PM (GMT)
Aria listened to Jeruad explain about working in a muggle hospital. Her eyes widdened a bit but she quickly resumed her blank expression.

He was probably muggle born, she realized, exactly the type of person she was suppossed to be ridding the wizarding world of. She should hate him, but she didn't.

"Oh," she replied. "You worked at a muggle hospital. How--" she paused as she searched for the right word. "Interesting" she concluded.

Her thoughts were buzzing around in her head, confusing her. She had taken an oath to hate and destroy all muggleborns. Invoulantarily she cluthced her forearm.

She cleared her head and looked up smiling. "Is that my potion?" she asked, pointing to the one he held.

Jeraud Cynster - July 2, 2008 10:20 PM (GMT)
As Jer explained where his techniques had come from he couldn’t help but be surprised at Aria’s reaction. Her eyes widened slightly and her last words especially they way she said interesting didn’t particularly sit well with him. After all he may be a pureblood, but that didn’t make him discriminate against muggles. Not in the least bit. Unlike Aria who had just shown him her true colors. Should have known by the way she held herself, he thought to himself wryly as he smiled politely at her.

“Yes it is very interesting Aria. At least in my opinion. I certainly learned a lot of things about muggles. I really don’t think they’re that bad actually.” Saying this Jer looked to Aria his hazel eyes emotionless as he kept the polite smile on his face. As he watched her clutch her forearm suddenly he frowned. No matter if his opinion of the woman had changed, he was still a healer, a helper.

“Everything alright?” Jer asked as he watched her suddenly look up and smile and point to the potion. Looking down at the bright orange liquid in the glass bottle Jer’s mind froze for a minute before he glanced to her and gave a brief nod his arm still outstretched to her. Waiting for her to take the potion.

Aria Casanov - July 5, 2008 05:44 AM (GMT)
Aria quickly noted as soon as he witnessed her reaction to the fact that he had worked at a muggle hospital his eyes became blank and his polite smile became fixed and straight. She found herself becoming angry--although her exterior didn't show it. He thought he had her pinned, this healer, she could see him judging her as she thought, the knowing light coming into his eyes that she despised muggle-borns.

Well, she thought, he was probably muggle-born himself, he didn't have the pressures she had from her family. Almost as instantly as this thought popped into her head she had pushed it back out, she really didn't care what he thought about her, whatever conclussions he had drawn.

"I really don’t think they’re that bad actually.” She heard him say.She dropped her fake smile and her eyes remained cold. She closed her eyes briefly and opened them, deciding that she really wasn't in the mood for an arguement, all she wanted was that potion before she passed out.

When she had quickly grabbed her forarm, which had burned when she had become incensed, he had asked her if everything was alright. Now she replied to this question icily. "Everything is fine Mr. Cynster, except of course for my cold," she stated, reaching a hand out to take the potion from him.

Unbeknownst to her her left sleeve rode up to reveal the ugly skull and snake tattoo on her arm. Almost instantly her wand was in her hand and the potion had crashed to the floor, where it lay in an orange puddle.

[OOC: I was bored and I love drama, lol. So I decided to spice things up:) ]

Jeraud Cynster - July 6, 2008 07:38 PM (GMT)
Jer could instantly tell the change in attitude from Aria as he was sure she did from him. He frowned just slightly and very quickly it was replaced with no real emotion at all. He didn’t mean to make her mad, but who was he kidding? He’d never liked people who despised muggleborns. Almost always he flared up at the subject if someone were to disagree with his opinions of the people. After all they couldn’t help their blood. Plus some of the most smartest witches and wizards happened to be half or muggleborn. He also knew for a fact that the wizarding world wouldn’t stay pureblooded forever. There was no chance and he knew that’s what angered people. Tainted blood, he scoffed in his mind as he watched Aria’s eyes turn cold.

As Jer suddenly watched Aria grasp her arm he couldn’t help but instantly ask if everything was okay his anger and strong opinions floating away for a brief moment. After all he was a healer and he protected and helped people. That was a strong instinct in him and sometimes it evolved over his true emotions and thoughts overriding them and pushing them down and away. Shaking his thoughts away Jer listened as Aria icily replied and used his full name as she reached to take the potion. Part of him almost instantly wanted to go off and ask if he hit a nerve, but he bit his tongue.

While Jer watched the woman take a hold of the potion he looked to her arm hoping to catch look, to see if everything was fine after all. Though the tattoo, the mark, the met his eyes made Jer step away from her at the exact moment the potion was dropped and shattered to the floor in a pile of orange liquid. He immediately assumed Aria had realized her mistake because of her reactions. Especially with her wand pointing in his face.

For a few minutes the only thing Jer could do was look at the orange liquid on the floor. It took him quite a few to register what just happened, what he’d just seen and most of all what he should do. Finally after about five minutes Jer pulled out his wand, pointed it at the mess on the floor, and announced, “Espikey.” His voice was clam, deathly calm as he spoke and watched the liquid disappear before his eyes. Only and only when the mess was gone did he look to Aria his face and hazel eyes emotionless as he peered at her. He sat watching her for a moment before he spoke with the deathly calm he had when announcing the spell moments ago.

“I think Ms. Casanov that it’s time you left my Hospital Wing.” And with that he gave her one last look over before turning and beginning to walk away. Probably a bad choice on his part but he felt like he would be okay. After all would she attack in the open like this? Especially now that he knew her secret? I guess I’ll find out soon enough, he thought to himself as he waited and walked away his hands in cloak pockets as he grabbed his wand and held it tightly, ready.

OOC: Haha that was drama right there. Though now you have to make me think what Jer will do, lol.

Aria Casanov - July 7, 2008 11:03 AM (GMT)
Aria stood in the middle of the hospital wing, stunned. First that scene with Ladder, where they had almost killed each other, two people had seen her mark and Ladder was trying to dig into her emotions and 'save' her. Now this. Slowly she pulled the sleeve down, making sure the mark was covered.

She was still standing with her wand pointed straight at him, he had turned and she had the advantage, although she could see his hand buched in his cloak, where he held his wand.

She didn't know what do do next. She couldn't leave without knowing who he would share this information with. She doubted Valdez would do much, he was working with Harshing afterall, after being threatned.

Still, she didn't want more people to find out. Even though she acted proud, there were times having the mark on her skin disgusted her. She swallowed thickly. She didn't want to hex him. Unlike everyone else, unlike Ladder, he hadn't immedialey judged her, he had been rather nice to her. Second, she didn't know if she oould win a duel today. Usually she was an excellent duelist but today she was dizzy and sick.

But perhaps a quick Obliviate wouldn't go amiss...
...She could just erase the memory of him having seen the mark and no one would be any wiser. It was what she planned to do to Ladder and that female healer.

She closed her eyes while she debated what to do. She could leave, obliviate him, or try to talk with him. To Obliviate him she'd have to get him to turn around and get closer to her...

She let a false feeling of pain cross her face, which actually looked rather real, and doubled over groaning. Hopefully his healer insticts would take over. If not...

[OOC: Lol, me too. I had to think about Aria and her reaction. She wouldn't leave and she wouldn't curse him becaus she's drawn to people who are nice to her, but she would do something. I took like ten minutes.

I think this is my longest post ever! Yay! :) ]

OOC: Ugh you put me in a bunch over here with that post, lol. And yeah I really think I bring out the long posting in people, lol.

Jer had been walking, slowly at that, and waiting for Aria to make her move. When moments past and nothing happened he began to wonder what she was thinking...planning. Now knowing she was a death eater led him to be very cautious of her actions. He knew, well rather judged, that she had to be coming up with a plan. Even though he tried his hardest not to think that way he couldn't help it. It was useless right now to have his opinion changed about the woman now.

Thinking these thoughts he suddenly straightened of the noises coming from behind him, from Aria. They were sounds of pain. Almost instantly his healer instincts kicked in and he went to turn but stopped himself. Was this a trick? Was she faking this? All the answers to his question were maybe. Knowing this he closed his hazel eyes briefly and took a deep breath as he pulled out his wand. Turning around slowly he pointed it at Aria.

"Are you alright or are you just faking this?" Jer's words were cautious as he spoke, ready for almost anything as he didn't move or let his eyes leave Aria. The waiting was the worst part.

Aria Casanov - July 7, 2008 10:47 PM (GMT)
Aria mentally rolled her eyes, having a sarcastic moment. Like she was going to say, Yes, I'm faking it, come here so I can Obliviate you!'

She stayed bent over and groaned, this time it sounded even more believeable. All she needed was for him to get just a little bit closer...

Bent double, she looked up through her lower lashes, seeing him trying to decide what to do.

{OOC: this was a hard one, i didn't know what to do, he caught me! lol. short one too. ]

Jeraud Cynster - July 7, 2008 11:18 PM (GMT)
As Jer watched Aria increase the sounds of pain and continue to bend over without answering his question Jer frowned deeply his brows pulling together in concern and confusion. His instincts were telling him to leave and get her out of there while everything else was telling him to help her. Of course as he stood their he found out his healer and helping instincts seemed to be stronger. He couldn't just leave her after all...could he?

Mentally cursing himself for being too good of a guy he moved to Aria and kneeled down beside her, letting himself become emotionless once again as he put a hand on her back.

"Aria...what's wrong? Tell me where the pain is coming from and sit up if you can. Is it your stomach? Your head?" As Jer called off questions here and there his eyes were fully fixed on Aria's face, not that he could really see it. All the while he was worrying though he was fully unaware of Aria and her plans.

OOC: Sorry about shortness wasn't much I could do, lol.

Aria Casanov - July 7, 2008 11:28 PM (GMT)
Aria looked up swiftly, to catch him by suprise and pointed her wand at his face. Suprisingly, her eyes were full of regret, not triumph. If there had been a way she knew he wouldn't tell anyone she wouldn't do this, but she had to be sure.

She lifted her wand and straigtned up, pointing it between his eyes and whispering, "Obliviate." The spell hit him and his eyes glazed over and unfocused. He would only forget seeing the mark and the rest up until now.

As he began to blink and his eyes began to focus she stowed her wand and asked, "So where's that potion you were going to give me," and smiled, waiting to make sure the obliviate had worked.

OOC: GODDING! lol Just thought I’d let you know you did, anyways it sort of works so I don’t mind.

Jer was bending down by Aria, hand on her back as he waited for her to answer. He was fully surprised and not to mention completely unaware as the sudden wand pointed in his face. Eyes crossing as he looked to it he let his hazel eyes move down the wand and look to seethe holder. It was none other than Aria and the look he saw in her eyes made him frown briefly confused. She was regretful? That’s a change, he thought to himself before he could take his wand and cast something before she hit him with the memory erasing curse.

Falling back his eyes glazed over and he became unconscious for the briefest of moments before he came to. As Jer opened his eyes he began to sit up slowly and rub the back of his head. Taking in his surroundings he got he was still in the Hospital wing, but what was he doing on the floor? Blinking rather rapidly Jer let his hazel eyes look around him before focusing in front and on a woman. Frowning slightly he tried to remember who she was and what she was doing here when she spoke up about a potion. Almost instantly everything clicked and he smiled sheepishly. Aria was her name and she was the woman he’d just examined.

“Oh yes I’m sorry Aria. Did I happen to slip on something and fall over?” As Jer suddenly spoke he began to stand up and frowned once again. If he had slipped and fell it would explain the growing headache and being on the floor. Before he could get an answer though he was moving back to the potion cabinets and searching. As he found the exact one he needed he smiled and turned to Aria, extending his arm out to her the orange potion in his hand.

“Here you go. That’s all you needed right?”

Aria Casanov - July 9, 2008 01:03 AM (GMT)
"Yes," she lied convincingly, "You dropped the potion, I cleaned up by the way, and slipped on it. You were out for a few minutes," she added, her eyes searching his face in what seemed to be a concerned matter, but was really her trying to asses if he remembered anything.

He went and retrieved another potion and she took it gratefully, with a "Thanks."

Then she quickly drank it, she couldn't wait to start feeling better.

"So, that's all," she said with a small sigh. "It was nice to meet you Mr. Cynster."

Jeraud Cynster - July 9, 2008 01:15 AM (GMT)
As Jer listened to Aria speak about dropping the potion, slipping, her cleaning it up, and him out for a few minutes he nodded slowly. It made since he guessed, but still he would have never thought himself that clumsy. Chuckling softly at his words but stopping abruptly because of the pain it caused his head Jer groaned aloud just as Aria took the potion from his hand and announced a thank you.

"Your welcome. It's my job after all." Announcing this Jer flashed her his trademark lop sided grin before watching her with his hazel eyes, making sure she drank every last drop of the liquid. He nodded satisfied that she had as he watched her turn to him with a smile and announce it was nice meeting him. Smiling he nodded in agreement.

"The pleasure is all mine Aria. I do hope you feel better soon." And with those last words he turned and walked out of the small area and to the doors of the Hospital Wing were he opened them for Aria and waited for her to leave.

Aria Casanov - July 12, 2008 10:20 AM (GMT)
Aria strode toward the Hospital wing doors, stopping before Jeraud. Her eyes were back to their previous emptiness, and she extended her hand for a shake as she said, "Thank you for your help today, it was nice meeting you,"

Then, without a backwards glance she left, feeling somewhat...different.
