Title: Yellow dress, green gloves
Description: OPEN!

Lily-Ann Pace - June 22, 2008 02:06 AM (GMT)
Lily-Ann flew quickly through the sky on her new broom, her bright yellow and slightly ruffly dress not showing anything because she wore black pants underneath. Her black hair only had some of it pulled back with a yellow ribbon, and a smile played on her lips. Lily-Ann stopped and carefully landed, and when she was about three feet from the ground, she hopped off her broom, laughing as she fell. Thats when Lily-Ann realized that someone had been watching. Lily-Ann stood up and dusted off the bright yellow dress. Her hands were masked in green gloves, the fingers not there, highlighter pink nail polish covered her nails beautifully.
"Hiya!" She said, still smiling. She had a small wristband on one wrist, indicating she was from Slytherin house. She carefully dug a finger in between it and her wrist.

Sora Hawthorne - June 22, 2008 02:13 AM (GMT)
Sora snorted as he examined the girl. He had been pacing the grounds not a moment ago when the girl had landed beside him. She was dressed up in a perfect imitation of the Hufflepuff eyesores known as their Quidditch robes. She didn't seem like the usual Slytherin. Much less one who took pride in their house. Sora was dressed accordingly, his green shirt tight against his stomach. He was also wearing tight black jeans that were snug.

"Hello." He said, almost singing the word in his soft tenor voice. She seemed odd but she wasn't too shabby at flying, he had noticed earlier. His left hand had a tight grasp around his Firebolt. He had been a present from one of his friends last year. He had yet to show his skill on it though, as he didn't feel much need to play if he wasn't on the Slytherin House Team.

This girl seemed slightly scatter-brained but no need to be rude. She was, after all, a Slytherin.

Lily-Ann Pace - June 22, 2008 02:19 AM (GMT)
Lily-Ann knew when she was being examined, and she didn't particularly care. Think what they want, if Robyn (the nicest Slytherin Lily-Ann had met) could get into Slytherin so could she. And according to William, she was cruel and sneaky enough for it.
Lily-Ann examined back, and decided he was okay. No one could ever match her definition of 'perfect' so he was just okay.
Lily-Ann snapped her left hand lightly and held out her right, her broom fell neatly into it. Lily-Ann nodded to his broom, "Nice Firebolt, looks like it's in good condition too. I'm Lily-Ann. Not Lillian, Lily....Ann." Lily-Ann held out her hand, showing that although she dressed as if she were aboslutely insane, she was an insane person with manners .

Sora Hawthorne - June 22, 2008 02:39 AM (GMT)
Sora nodded at the girl, slightly bemused by her introduction. " 'm Sora Hawthorne." He said, drumming his fingers lightly against the handle of his beloved broomstick. "Thanks." He said, trying to read the label on her broom without being blinded by the brightness of her robes. "I haven't seen you around the pitch before. You going to try-out for the house team? I am." He said, impressively.

Sora tapped his boot-clad foot against the grass as he waited for her answer. He noticed that his boot had a small scuff on the heel and scowled down at it. He considered pulling out his wand and cleaning it but it might seem odd in front of this girl. He started to twitch slightly as the stain seemed to grow bigger. Obviously, it wasn't. Just his mind. Sora was obsessive compulsive like that. Everything had to perfect.

Lily-Ann Pace - June 22, 2008 02:52 AM (GMT)
OOC: Her dress isn't THAT bright... jeez...

IC:

Lily-Ann watched him try to read the label on her broom, and she moved her fingers, reading it, "Lily-Ann Orignal. I made it." She explained. The letters were in a green and sliver metal, obviously she had some house pride. "Oh...umm, no probably not." Lily-Ann shrugged, "I don't think I'm too good at... I can't fly in front of lots of other people." Lily-Ann explained. Lily-Ann watched him twitch slightly at the patch he had kicked up. Robyn was OCD, so Lily-Ann figured he was too. Lily-Ann took her wand, and whispering the spell, it was fixed. She put away her wand and shrugged, "I used to have a friend that was like that, but bipolar at the same time. She'd like, start crying or screaming." Lily-Ann shrugged. Lily-Ann realized she missed the other girl more than she thought.
"Um, so you like Quidditch? My brother says I'm pretty good, he's the seeker for Drumstrang, and he's about to graduate so... I guess he knows." Lily-Ann smiled, not a proud smile but more like a reminiscing smile.

Sora Hawthorne - June 22, 2008 05:53 PM (GMT)
Sora cocked an eyebrow so it was half obsured by his fringe of bangs. "Made it?" He tried to conceal the skeptisism in his voice but wasn't sure if he had suceeded. "Stage fright, of a sort, than. Pity. I'm trying to find someone," he added plenty of emphasis on the word, "whom I can practice with. No one seems to like flying." He grumbled pitifully, Before he could continue speaking, Lily-Ann had cleaned his boot. It wasn't too neat of a job, but she had tried. "Um, thanks. I just enjoy my personal objects being in pristine condition. That's all." He said sheepishly, turning a light shade of pink.

"Sounds like an interesting friend. Bi-polar? Ugh." He said, shuddering at the thought of one of his friends have that mental problem. Sure, he was crazy in more than one way but he didn't have a personailty disorder. "Quidditch is cool. Better than any other sport I know." He said, gesturing with his forefinger at the pitch. "You're okay. Need a little work on turning and diving, but I'm not Hahstan Mostipher. You know, the referee at the Quidditch World Cup. I was there this year." The match had taken place in Germany, but Sora had managed to buy a ticket with some of his fortune.

Lily-Ann Pace - June 22, 2008 06:12 PM (GMT)
"Yea. I made it." Lily-Ann's voice was icy, almost killing the brightness of her outfit, and no smile played on her lips any longer.
Lily-Ann raised an eyebrow, "I'll practice with you. I just said lots of people." Lily-Ann shrugged. "I like my things to be neat, but I don't flip if they're not." Lily-Ann shrugged. She always had maids and the like to clean things up. She had a couple house elves, but they kinda did nothing.

"She was...interesting. But we quit hanging out because... well we just thought differently about things." Lily-Ann sighed, thinking about it. "Yea, I went to that game! My brother took me. " Lily-Ann shrugged. William always took her to games when they were both on break, but lately he brings a different girl each time and it ruins it for Lily-Ann. Not only because they're extremely pretty, and it's tempting, but also because he's busy explaining the game and not talking to Lily-Ann.

Sora Hawthorne - June 22, 2008 06:25 PM (GMT)
Sora ignored her tone, not bothered by it. Apparently, his attempts at controlling his tone had failed. He made a mental note to practice later that night in the Common Room. "Where were you at the cup? I was with my boyf-er-friend, William. We were near the top box, I think. It started to rain in our section so we couldn't be sure." Sora mentally congratulated himself on stopping the word "boyfriend" from escaping his lips. Will was gone and no need lingering on the past. "I used to practice with my mates and siblings but they are all off in the world. Lucky idiots." He mumbled so Lily-Ann couldn't hear.

He hated being here at Hogwarts during the summer. He felt insignificant and foolish. Like some kid lost in the shopping mall who is crying for his mummy and daddy. "Sure we can practice." And without another word, Sora dropped his broom to the ground and leapt on. He kicked off and rose gracefully into the hair. He shot up like a bullet, cackling like a mad man.

Lily-Ann Pace - June 22, 2008 06:33 PM (GMT)
Lily-Ann raised an eyebrow at his horrid cover-up.
"You went with your boyfriend William?" Lily-Ann allowed a smirk, "It's okay with me, my brother brings his girlfriend now to the games and it's aweful for me. They're all pretty. And my brothers name is William too..." Lily-Ann shrugged."I practice with my brother and my cousins. When I was little my nurse, Jessica, taught me how to ride a broom an stuff." Lily-Ann allowed a small smile approach on her lips.
Lily-Ann watched Sora fly up into the sky and she released her broom, it floated watiing for Lily-Ann to get on. Lily-Ann remembered the first time she made a broom, everytime she tried to get on it, it moved a little bit farther away. She was 12 then.

Lily-Ann got on and it flew up into the sky quickly. "Remember though, I've got a disability, I'm in a dress." Lily-Ann told him, while she carefully adjusted her gloves.

Sora Hawthorne - June 23, 2008 02:47 PM (GMT)
"Oh sure. Disability." Sora hollered over the wind whistling through his ears. The wind cut through his robes like a knife but he didn't mind. If was a hot summer day anyway. The air felt pleasant.

Sora doved down and flew towards the broom closet. He summoned a large red Quaffle and it zoomed out to meet him, almost full in the face. He ignored that small embarassment and flew back to met her, hovering a few good yards away from where she floated.

"What position do you want to be?" He yelled loudly as he tossed the Quaffle high into the air and caught it as it fell towards him.

Lily-Ann Pace - June 23, 2008 02:58 PM (GMT)
Lily-Allen grinned as the Quaffle almost hit him, but when he came back up the grin was gone. She undid the ribbon and more hair fell. She quickly pulled all of it back up and tied the ribbon.
Lily-Ann shrugged, "I dunno! I play 'em all at home!" Lily-Allen told him. To her, Quidditch was just a game, she was good but she didn't make her whole life surround it. Her brother did though, and on breaks they would practice together, he would swear that she'd make the best seeker on Slytherin team, but he knew she wouldn't play in front of people that weren't family.
"I'll play whatever position you want me too." Lily-Ann told him, after a moment of thought. She pulled on her gloves patiently, she kind of wished her cat was here. People say black cats are bad luck, but Lucky was well... lucky. And he was Lily-Ann's.

Sora Hawthorne - June 24, 2008 07:02 PM (GMT)
"You can play Keeper. I warn you though, I play to win." He indicated his outfit. "Being Slytherin and all." He made sure to tuck his wand safely in the pocket of his pants before he began gaining speed as he flew down the pitch before she even had time to move as she adjusted her gloves. It might have been cheating but Sora didn't care. A point was still a point.

The golden hoops were fast approaching as he shook his head, dislodging a strand of hair that was in front of his eyes. He raised his hands, both grasped tightly around the scarlett ball and flung his arms forward, releasing the Quaffle. It went through the center hoop and sped towards the ground. Sora hurried after it until his hands were clasped firmly around it. The ball was safe inside the crook of his left arm as he flew back to join Lily-Ann in the middle of the pitch.

"Lovely." He said, a wicked grin on his face.

Lily-Ann Pace - June 24, 2008 07:10 PM (GMT)
Lily-Ann smirked when he came back, "Didn't count, you didn't say we started." She winked, and flew to the rings. Lily-Ann waited for him to throw another one, one that counted. The other one would've counted back at her house, but thats because her family was made up of natural cheaters. But, they only cheated in play games, not the real ones. He threw at her another one, and she stopped it, but her broom turned her upside down. "I'm turning you into pencils if you don't turn me downside DOWN." Lily-Ann hissed loudly to her broom. She was quickly turned up, after a whimper from the broom. "Oh hush. You're not the one in the dress." She threw the quaffle back at Sora with a strong arm.
