Title: Mad at the water.
Description: Open

Lily-Ann Pace - June 22, 2008 02:40 AM (GMT)
Lily-Ann wore her favorite yellow dress, and her sparkly green no fingered gloves, but instead of black pants underneath, she wore rainbow stockings. She has white ballet flats and her black hair pulled in an 80's style pony-tail (that would be two the side if you didn't know), with out the scrunching part.A green ribbon was tied in a bow holding all her hair up. The only sign that she was from slytherin, was the slytherin wrist band she wore, and the classic scowl at the lake.
Lily-Ann, was afraid she would get splashed.Mostly because it would ruin her dress, and her hair, which she had worked on getting to look very nice. Not for any reason, but because she wanted to be pretty today.
So, Lily-Ann sat, her knee's pulled to her chest and a dark look staring at the water.Lily-Ann looked up as a shadow covered her from the sun. She saw someone standing over her. Lily-Ann sighed, "Hiya." She said, trying not to sound like she was mad at the water.

April Teagan - June 22, 2008 02:47 AM (GMT)
Aprl laughed at the girl's outfit, whm she had been wstching for quite some time. She had sort of snuck up on her, but apparently she spotted her before she could do something scary, like push her into the lake. She was in a tricky mood today for some reason. April looked at the girl curiously.

"Hiya!"

April looked at her with wide eys, and then laughed. That was a very interesting way to greet someone, she thought, and not exactly very mature. Oh well.

"Er... hello," she said awkwardly. "Someone's peppy. What's up with the clothing choice?" she asked, smirking.

Lily-Ann Pace - June 22, 2008 02:58 AM (GMT)
Lily-Ann stared at the girl, looking her over. Another Slytherin...Lily-Ann stood up, and even though she was a head shorter than the girl, she didn't look a bit angry or worried or anything but happy.
"Not peppy. Angry. Mad at the water. Someone's going to splash and my dress will be ruined. I would move but I like this spot. And I like this dress. Is there a problem with it?" Lily-Ann asked, raising her eyebrows in a 'if you say yes I'll kick your tail so hard you won't know what happened,' way. Lily-Ann smiled and held out her left hand.
"I'm Lily-Ann. Not Lilian, Lily...Ann." Lily-Ann still looked bright and bubbly, although it bothered her somewhat that this girl was SMIRKING at her yellow dress.

April Teagan - June 22, 2008 01:17 PM (GMT)
April listened to the girl talk about being mad at the water. In her opinion, the girl should just move away from the lake. She was probably right; someone was going to come and splash her and then she'd be angry and ruin the hideous and obnoxious yellow dress that she was wearing.

Actually, the dress wasn't all that bad. April liked the style of it and everything, but she could never get past the color yellow; she just hated it. The side pony tail was a little too much, though. It reminded April of ridiculous Muggle Americans in the 80's. She was still smirking at the girl, who seemed to be ready to curse her.

"Lily-Ann..." April contemplated while shaking the girl's hand absently. "I'm gunna call you Lily."

April sat down next to her, away from the lake so that Lily wouldn't think she was going to attack her with a wall of mad water or something. The thought of someone coming and dousing Lily right now was actually entertaining, although she herself wouldn't do it by the look on Lily's face right now.

"And I'm April. Are you in Slytherin?"

Lily-Ann Pace - June 22, 2008 05:41 PM (GMT)
Lily-Ann bit her lip, "Ummm... no please just call me Lily-Ann because, I don't really like...nicknames." Lily-Ann shrugged. Lily-Ann pulled the gren ribbon out of her hair, allowing it to fall down, hiting the grass just slightly. "April... lovely name. And yea, I'm from Slytherin." Lily-Ann showed her the wristband, "I wear it so people know I'm not in hufflepuff." Lily-Ann laughed, and picked up a bit of the dress, then allowed it to drop.

April Teagan - June 23, 2008 12:07 AM (GMT)
April hated long names, especially with hyphens. She found it so old fashioned and everything, and she liked easy names to remember. Whatever, she'd get over it. At least the girl was in Slytherin. She could sort of tell... she just had the look about her. Thank god she wasn't in Hufflepuff; between that and the dress, April wouldn't know how to handle it.

"Lily-Ann it is. I'm in Slytherin too."

"Mind if I ask, what is it with the Muggle American old-fashioned clothes? My friend Robyn wears weird stuff like that..."

Lily-Ann Pace - June 23, 2008 12:43 AM (GMT)
Lily-Ann smiled, "Good. My parents really don't like me to hang out with people eithe a) muggle-born or B) from another house. My brother says they're not home enough for it to matter but... I try to obey at least one of those." Lily-Ann shrugged. "Oh, I just like them is all. I think the uniform is rather boring and so I wear this when I can. Or various other outfits. Robes and that kind of thing are just... not my taste." Lily-Ann grinned when she heard that April knew Robyn.
"Really! You know Robyn Singe? We used to be really close, us two and Veronica Newbury, but then we found out we weren't supposed to hang out with muggle borns and so Robyn didn't listen and we kind of just..." Lily-Ann sighed, thinking about what word to use, "drifted from each other." Lily-Ann shrugged, "I'm glad she made new friends, she was a bit anti-social back then..."

April Teagan - June 23, 2008 12:51 AM (GMT)
April laughed. She thought it was pretty interesting that Robyn and Lily-Ann knew each other. Pretty cool too. Too bad they drifted apart after everything. She had thought it had been bad at first too when Robyn hung out with Muggles, but she got over it pretty quick.

"Oh, really? Yeah, I thought Robyn was a total weirdo when she hung out with Muggles and everything. I mean, I know a few Muggleborns and we get along and everything, but no Muggles! And I HATE Veronica Newbury. She's so obnoxious," April ranted.

"Me and Robyn are pretty close. I spend the whole summer at her houses and stuff, and we share a dorm. She was my first real friend at Hogwarts when I came here last year. Maybe my bestfriend, I don't know."

"woah, I'm talking too much."

Lily-Ann Pace - June 23, 2008 01:14 AM (GMT)
"Yea well, at that time my brother, William, and my other brother... he's not around anymore... Jacob would do anything to get me in trouble. They hated me. When I was little they locked me in a closet for almost ten hours." Lily-Ann smirked, "But I paid them back in the end, anyway, I couldn't hang out with them because I knew my brothers would find out and tattle on me." Lily-Ann sighed, "I wish I stayed friends with Robyn though, because it sounds like shes grown up and awefull lot. And no, you're not talking to much, I like to listen." Lily-Ann gave a polite smiled to April.

OOC: Sorry for the shortness...

April Teagan - June 23, 2008 01:25 AM (GMT)
"Well, I didn't know Robyn before, but she's a pretty cool girl. I mean, she's pretty strange, don't get me wrong. But we all have a crazy side. And let me tell you, Robyn has a crazy side, believe me."

April laughed.

"So, are you still friends with that... Veronica Newbury girl?" April spat. She hated that girl pretty much on sight.

Lily-Ann Pace - June 23, 2008 05:39 PM (GMT)
"Yea well, as far as I can see at least you don't have to deal with her cutting herself and stuff like that." Lily-Ann shrugged. "No, I quit being friends with her after first year, but I've seen Robyn hanging with her. None this year though. She tries to be all secretive about it but she's rather bad at it." Lily-Ann grinned, "You must really hate her."

April Teagan - June 23, 2008 07:26 PM (GMT)
"She's merely an annoyance," April said truthfully. She hadn't known that Robyn was friends with her, but then again, April was friends with a lot of people that Robyn probably didn't like. April was quite popular around Hogwarts for some reason.

"I tend to ignore people who are ignorant, anyways. Who have you been hanging out with of late, if not Veronica or Robyn?"

April ignored the comment about Robyn cutting. She knew Robyn had a ton of personal problems, but she tended to overlook them anyways. She was still her friend, no matter what. Some people just had hard things to deal with in thier lives, and it wasn't up to April to judge them for it.

Lily-Ann Pace - June 25, 2008 12:05 PM (GMT)
OOC: WOO! I'm replying. If it's aweful, I'm gonna use the 'I'm sick' excuse.
=d

IC:

Lily-Ann smiled at April's excuse. Lily-Ann saw who people WERE not who they said they were. She knew when they didn't like someone, and when they did. At least, only when that person wasn't her.
"Oh... I mostly hang out alone. See, year before last I had to deal with three deaths and then last year I kinda just stayed in the library most of the time." Lily-Ann shrugged.

April Teagan - June 26, 2008 01:52 PM (GMT)
April shrugged, looking at the lake for a moment before Lily-Ann spoke. She could tell that Lily-Ann really thought she hated Veronica, although she guessed now she really didn't. Veronica had been a little annoying a year ago, but now April wasn't sure what had been so problematic between the two. She had an uneasy feeling that it had to do with AJ.

"Alone? well, that's no good. You need to get out there and... socialize yourself!" she exclaimed, hating when people merely kept to themselves.

"And what do you mean by, three deaths? Of whom?"

Lily-Ann Pace - June 26, 2008 01:58 PM (GMT)
"April, I AM socializing. Unless this isn't socializing, 'cause then I got the deffinition all wrong." Lily-Ann winked and shrugged, "Well my butler, but that wasn't too bad, but my nurse died and she kept me feeling safe and like I could do anything, and then my brother Jacob died in a duel at Drumstrang. When Jessica, the nurse, died though it felt like my whole world was crashing in, so I kept to myself." Lily-Ann pulled her knees closer to herself, thinking about it.

April Teagan - June 26, 2008 03:04 PM (GMT)
April laughed at first, but then became solemn. Lily-Ann talked about the three deaths she had been referring to, and April realized that all sorts of studnets at Hogwarts had mysterious and depressing pasts before thier life at the school. It seemed like Hogwarts was just full of people who lead lives full of death, dying, and disaster. Well, it was a crazy world out there, and it was definately getting more and more dangerous by the day.

"I'm sorry for your losses, especially this nurse," April replied, although she felt that the loss of a brother would be worse. "Was she like a mother figure to you? And, were you close with your brother at all?"
