Description: Open
Lily-Ann Pace - June 23, 2008 12:40 PM (GMT)
"Oh Come on! This is the third time TODAY you've done this to me!" If Lily-Ann were normal, you would think she was talking to a person, but Lily-Ann was NOT normal and she was NOT talking to a person. Lily-Ann was talking to her broom.
"I swear I'm going to chop you up and sell you as paper weights." Lily-Ann always threatened a broom when it did this. Oh, what was this you ask? Well, this, would be Lily-Ann's home-made broom turning her upside down, or downside up as Lily-Ann likes to say. Lily-Ann was at least six or seven feet from the ground, and so, like an acrobat, Lily-Ann grabbed her ankles and pulled herself up, grabbing on to the broom. Then she let go, and this time made sure not to land on her knees. Lily-Ann sighed and shook her head the broom, "You know, you're really making my life difficult." The broom wimpered, "No don't you do that because I just don't care anymore." Lily-Ann crossed her arms and frimly turned around. And then, she stared. She was staring at someone staring at her.
Lily-Ann was happy enough that she dress "normal" today because then this person would think she was crazy. She was wearing jeans and a snug yellow t-shirt, her hair pulled back in a normal pony-tail.
But she was talking to her broom.
"Umm... hiya!" She said, smiling.

Sid had been flying around the grounds when he saw the strangest thing: a girl yelling at her broom. He stood there listening to the whole conversation and watchign her every move. She was a pretty girl, but a bit strange. He decided to introduce himself. He walked up, broom in hand, and said, "Do you need some help with that?" Ater he said this, he walked closer to her. "Im really good with a broom." He said in a lower tone, and with a smile.
Lily-Ann Pace - June 23, 2008 11:24 PM (GMT)
Lily-Ann immidiatly stood up, staring at the boy.
"No I do not need help with my broom." She said firmly, and she turned back to her broom, holding out her right hand. "You get in my hand right now or I'll turn you into a birdhouse." The broom whimpered again, and slowly went into Lily-Ann's hand. "Thank you." She said, turning around, back to the boy. Her hand covered the label of the broom.
"Now then, I'm Lily-Ann Pace, not Lilian. Lily...Ann. Fith year, Slytherin." Lily-Ann did not look like a Slytherin and she rarely acted like she was in it. "I make my own brooms so they... think on they're own." She explained.
Sid Carrick - June 23, 2008 11:33 PM (GMT)
SId smiled. He liked the girls spunk. He always figued he was meant to be in Slytherin, not just because his whole family has been in it, because he couldnt resist the girls. He heard her say she made her own brooms. His face lit up. "Oh wow! Thats a talent ive never heard od. Howd you learn to make brooms at an early age?" He asked,
Lily-Ann Pace - June 23, 2008 11:40 PM (GMT)
Lily-Ann let go of the broom and it floated, carefully nudging her in the side every once in a while. Lily-Ann swatted at it.
"I'm not telling you anything till I get a name, and what house you're in." Lily-Ann crossed her arms and the broom carefully slid up under her. Lily-Ann was now sitting on the broom. She inspected the highlighter pink nails, while she waited on an answer.
Sid Carrick - June 24, 2008 12:07 AM (GMT)
"Sid Carrick. 5th tear SLytherin." He said cooly. She was a bit pushy, but he liked it. He waited for her response. He wasnt sure if she was going to keep being rude, or finally give in. "And your name is?"
Lily-Ann Pace - June 24, 2008 12:25 AM (GMT)
Lily-Ann sighed, regular Slytherin boy. Couldn't they at least be original?
"I told you my name, love. Or were you to busy contemplating the ways you could compliment me into a kiss?" Lily-Ann asked, raising an eyebrow. Her arms were still crossed and she sighed, releasing her arms and putting her hands on the broom. "Lily-Ann. There's a major pause between the Lily and the Ann." Lily-Ann said, hoping she wouldn't have to say it for a third time. It helped to resist guys if you liked girls too. You could think of them,
Susan
Julliet
Mary-Kate
Sarah-Jane
Diamond...
Sid Carrick - June 24, 2008 12:47 AM (GMT)
Sid frowned. "Oh sorry I forgot and NO Im not just trying to kiss you. Im trying to be nice, but for some reason, you cant be nice to me. If you dont mind, Im going to leave now." Sid said a bit upset and walking away,
Lily-Ann Pace - June 24, 2008 12:59 AM (GMT)
Lily-Ann sighed.
"Wait.... don't. I''m just not having the greatest of days. Sorry for being tempermental it's this stupid broom. It keeps turning me downside up, I'm surpirised I haven't cracked my skull..." Lily-Ann shrugged, hopping off the broom.
"I'm sorry for acting like a brat." She said, giving a light simle.
Sid Carrick - June 25, 2008 07:46 PM (GMT)
He smiled at teh gil. he knew shed come to her senses. He walkec close to her, took the broom out of her hand, and gently sat it on the ground. He looked her square in the eyes adn said, "Want to go for a walk?" He cocked his head sideways and didnt stop smiling.
Lily-Ann Pace - June 26, 2008 01:47 PM (GMT)
The broom growled at him, and if it had teeth it would surely bite.
"Doesn't like to be touched by anybody but me."
For a reason too...
Lily-Ann took her wand a murmurring the spell sent the broom off to her dorm.
"Sure. I'll take a walk with you." Lily-Ann thought him an interesting person, if he knew she already knew his game.
Sid Carrick - June 27, 2008 11:14 PM (GMT)
SId smiled. He watched her set the broom down herself. They began to wal around the grounds. he looked at her and smiled. "So why do your brooms only like to be touched by you?" He said questioningly.
Lily-Ann Pace - July 1, 2008 07:46 PM (GMT)
"I made it, and it's still a baby. You know how human babies kinda cling to their mothers the first few months? Well, my brooms like that, because I give it some human personality it still has to grow up a bit." Lily-Ann shrugged, and pulled her black hair out of it's thick pony-tail. The hair fell gorgously to her waist and some of it fell into her face. Lily-Ann tied the green ribbon to her wrist.
Sid Carrick - July 4, 2008 07:43 PM (GMT)
SId smiled at her. "Thats a pretty awesome talent I must say." Sid said watching her hair fall around her. She looked much prettier with her hair down. He smiled and they kept walking. "So what else are you amazingly godo at?" Sid said smiling.
Lily-Ann Pace - July 7, 2008 01:58 PM (GMT)
Lily-Ann shrugged, "Eh, I'm not particularly good at it, yet." She told him, tucking some of her hair behind her ear. She had an urge to do a cartwheel, but restrained from doing so, knowing that it would be random, strange, and file her under insane. Which technically, Lily-Ann wasn't. "Mmm, being random. Buuut I guess you'll just have to find out the rest." Lily-Ann said winking.
