Description: Open

Sora Hawthorne - June 23, 2008 03:13 PM (GMT)
Sora sat, hovering over a checker-board of black and white squares. Obviously, it was a chess board. The pieces were still at starting position, each side muttering to one another about battle tatics. The boy glared down at the pieces silently as he waited in the Great Hall. The students had all left as lunch had just finished. Most went out to the courtyard to talk or read or do whatever they did during break times. Sora was never sure as he had yet to make it out to the grounds during break. Too much filth, too many people, loud noises. It just wasn't a place he would relish being at.

His long hair fell in front of his face as he stood up, staring at the pieces from a different angle. Irritated, he tried to blow the strands of hair away from his face. Comically, they moved for a second but than fell right back down into place. He sighed defeatedly as he moved the air away with his hands.

He was hoping one of his friends who show up and challenge him to a game. One of his friends who were not skilled at chess. He didn't enjoy having his ego deflated by a game of chess. Much less one he did not win in. He tapped his wand against the table, sparks flying from the end of it. The chess pieces shrieked and scrambled to move out of the way of the blue sparks. Each mutter a swear word as they eyed the wand before they returned to their positions.

Sora snickered quietly. It was just than he realized that someone had taken a seat directly across from him.

Solana Lilly - June 23, 2008 03:21 PM (GMT)
Solana entered the Great Hall, bored to death. There was nothing to do in the castle today. She wore a black mini-skirt, a bright blue shirt, and a pair of black suede boots. She hoped none of the teachers said anything about her outfit.

Solana smirked as the boy sent sparks flying at the chessmen. She had never really liked Wizard's Chess, the peices were annoying and confusing, all of them speaking at once and giving their input. She had blown up several of her chess boards when she was younger because of that.

She sat down across from the boy. "Hey," she said, "I'm not so great at chess, but you need a partner?"
