Gwen Ravin walked down Diagon Alley, she was here to pick up a few things for work and home. Dressed in her usual light colors, today a loose light green shirt and gray slacks, her hair was pulled up in a pony tail, She looked down at the list in her hand, seeing where she should stop by next. She continued walking, but wasn't watching where she was going and soon found herself tripping over someone and falling to the ground. She quickly got herself back up and apologized, "Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention."

Sean walked down Diagon Alley, looking for the Quidditch shop. He wanted a broomstick servicing kit for his Firebolt, he had to keep it in excellent condition of course. He was wearing black robes, open to reveal jeans and a white shirt underneath.

He was lost in his thoughts when someone bumped into him and fell down.

He looked at her, reaching out to lend a hand but she was already standing.

She apologized to him and he replied, "It's alright. I'm Sean Avalon by the way," he said, smiling and extending his hand.

"Oh, I'm Gwen Ravin." She said shaking her hand. "I think I've seen you before." She said trying to place a name to the face. "YOu don't work at Hogwarts do you?" She asked, she figured that it was more than likely that was where she had seen him before.

"Yes I do," he replied, smiling. "I'm the Flying Instructor. How about you?" If she knew he worked at Hogwarts, shemust work there too. He didn't really know many teachers at Hogwarts, he spent most of his time outside after all.

"Yeah, I'm a medi-witch there." She said with a smile, well that explained why he looked a little familiar. "So, what are you doing out here"" she asked, it wasn't the brightest question but the only thing she had thought of to say, she couldn't help but realize he was good looking.

Sean smiled and stared at the witch. she was pretty he realized, when she asked him a question.

"Oh, I'm here to get some Quidditch things, I'm a huge Qudditch person. How about you? What brings you to Diagon Alley today?"

"Well I figured you probably were if you are the flying instructor. I'm just here to pick up some things for work, and some things I meed at home that I forgot to pack when I moved. So how is teaching?" she asked.

"It's alright.If I can't play Qudditch anymore, I can still teach flying right?" He said, a trace of bitterness in his voice. He pushed it away though. "So," he asked, Why don't we do our shopping together"

"I would like that." she said with a smile, glad that he had offered, she always loved company, and she didn't think it would hurt anything to get to know him better. "So do you want to go to the Quiditch store first?" she asked, she really wasn't in a hurry to get her shopping done, so she figured they might as well get his done.

"Sure," he replied. "I don't need much anyway." The walked along the street towards the store and Sean was at a loss for what to say.

"So, what was your old house when you were in Hogwarts?" he asked, feeling a bit stupid.

"I was in Hufflepuff. I just graduated about 5 years ago" She told him "What about you?" she asked as they reached the store and walked in, she liked Quiditch, but she had really never had need to go into this store before.

Sean and Gwen entered the shop. It was full of students staring at the various things, expecially the newest edition Firebolt.

He pointed at the broom and said to Gwen. "That's the best broom in the world you know. I'm going to get it."

Because of being a Professional Quidditch player, Sean was pretty wealthy. He approached the owner and requested the broom, a servicing kit, and a new set of Quitter balls and beater bats.

"You fly much?" he asked Gwen.

"I like flying, but I don't do it very often." She told him, not really wanting to bring up that until recently she had been married to a muggle man, so things like flying hadn't been all that possible. "I'll have to come down and watch you fly sometime."

"Sure," he said, "And maybe you can even join me sometime," He took out a puch and paid for everything he was buying, which was costing a fortune.

"So where do you want to head next?" he asked, finished with his shopping. He was glad she had bumped into him, she was nice company, pretty, and he was having a good time.

"Yeah, that would be fun." She said with a smile as they walked out of the Quiditch store and back out to the street. She was really happy that he had suggested shopping together, "Well I need to get some potion supplies and some books." She told him, it would be nice to restock her house with some things.

"Alright, lead the way," said Sean, as they walked along the crowded street. "So Gwen, in your time off, what do you like to do?" he asked, trying to get to know more about her.

"I like shopping and talking to friends, reading, recently I have picked up sewing but I don't know why...oh and falling over strangers feet."The last part was a of course a joke. "What about you, Other than flying and playing Quidditch what do you like to do?"" She asked him

He thought for a second. Other than Qudditch what did he do?

"I like walking through the forest or by the lake, I like talking with friends, reading, and playing the piano. I haven't done a lot of that reccently, most of my time has been taken up with classes."

They had reached the Apothecary and he reached forward and opened the door, allowing her to enter first. Thankfully he had paid to have what he had purchased at the Quiddicth store delivered to the castle.

"So what are you buying in here?" he asked.

"I think its neat that you play the piano," She hadn't met anyone in the wizarding world who did yet. " I need some Mandrake roots, Jobberknoll feathers, and a few other things, and a cauldron, I seem to have left it in my old house." She knew it was one of the things Matt had gotten rid of, but now that she was living on her own again, she really needed to buy one.

"Well, maybe I can play for you sometime," he replied, smiling. He listened as she recited a list of potions ingredients. "Well, I've neverbeen too good at potions but maybe I can help you find some of those," he offered.

"I know for sure I can find a cauldron, they're easy to spot. What kind do you need?" he called back as he walked toward the cauldron aisle.

"I'd like that." she said with a grin when he said he'd have to play for her sometime, she'd really have to find this guy again and hope he wasn't too good to be true. "Just something cheep, and small, I'm in an apartment right now." She said, inwardly cringing on how that sounded to her own ears, When she had moved she had wanted something smaller now that it was just her, but now that she had a job there was really no need for her to stay there, she just hadn't gone house looking yet.

"Alright," Sean called back, thinking of how much he was enjoying himself. He busied himself looking for a small, yet efficent caudlron that didn't cost too much.

"I'm in the process of looking for a house myself," he told her from where he was crouched scanning the bottom shelves.

"Yeah, I need to get out looking a little more." She said as she looked on the shelves for the things that she needed. "And thank you by the way for the help." She added, getting the things she needed and walking back over to where he was crouched at and looked at a few herself. "Did you see anything?" she asked him.

"No problem," he replied, busing himself in searching for the cauldron. He had located one and was pulling it out when she said from behind him, 'Did you see anything.'

"S***!" he swore, temporarily startled, and dropped the cauldron on his injured knee.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry." She said moving the cauldron, feeling bad for startling him "Are you okay?" she asked hoping it hadn't hurt him and offered a hand to help him get back up

Sean took her hand, even though he had to outweigh her by a hundred pounds, and stood up. His knee hurt a little but it wasn't anything too bad.

"I'm alright," he replied, "And I found you cauldron," he added, bending down to retrieve it.

"Oh thanks." She had momentarily forgotten about the cauldron. "That's all I need here." She said taking the things up to the counter and buying them, she'd have them delivered to her house, she didn't want to have to haul around a cauldron the whole time. "Thanks again. Is there anywhere else you would like to go?" she asked him.

He tried to think of something he might need, as an excuse to prolong their time together. "Well, I'm gonna go get lunch," he said, "I'm done with the shopping," he finished, smiling. He really liked Gwen, she was sweet and pretty and he didn't want the afternoon to end yet.

"Would you like to join me?" he asked. "I'm just headed over to the Leaky Cauldron."

"Sure, that sounds like fun." she said with a smile, glad that things weren't done yet, she was really having a nice time just talking to him and didn't want it to end just yet.
