Aria sat on the grass by the lake, not caring if her pale yellow robes got grass stains or not. He hair was loose and blowing in the soft breeze. She was feeling depressed, which was something that always came and went with her, when she thought about how happpy everyone else was. Then the dumbest things sent her over, like today, when she thought about why she didn't have a patronus.

Something no one knew about Aria was that she was a wonderful singer. She closed her eyes and began to hum a song, and before she knew it, she was singing.

She was humming the final notes when she heard footsteps behind her.

John had been siting at the edge of the lake in the dazed state he had been in all week when he heard the distinct sound of someone singing, the voice sounded familiar and at first he thought it was Casey but he knew that wasn't right. He decided to get up and investagate the source of the singing, but when he found it, he wished he would have kept sitting. "Um...Hello Professor." he said not sure what else to say.

Aria turned around sharply, embarassed and angry at being caught singing.

"Who are you?" she asked, "And what do you want?"

"I'm Johnathan Lawson." He said, hoping she didn't know that he had skipped her class all year long. "I heard you and... just thought you were someone else" he said embarassed at the situation he had gotten himself into . "I'm sorry I disturbed you."

Aria stared at him, getting increasingly angry, especially because she had been caught singing.She eyed him, wondering if he was a pure-blood. She wanted to hex him....badly. Send him back to the school on all fours, bleeding.

She could feel her rage building and tapped it down, the said slowly, "Tell me Johanthan, what is your blood status?"

"Muggle born...why?" He asked raising an eyebrow, finding this a wierd question, but not an uncommon one. He had been asked this before but to be asked by a professor, just didn't feel right, he knew something was wrong

This mudblood had just made a big mistake thought Aria, smiling. Then again, he knew she was a Professor...she'd have to obliviate him, she concludded, and drew her wand.

"You want to know what I think of mud-bloods?" she asked, pointing her wand at him. "I think your all dirty blooded magic theives, who need to be taught your place in wizarding society,"

And with that she swished her wand through the air, yelling "Crucio!"

Before he even had time to react, or really place together what had just happened. John found himself on the ground screaming in more pain than he had ever felt in his life.

Aria laughed, and pointed her wand at him again, this time yelling, "Sectemsempra!"

Once the spell had gone away, john got himself to his knees when the next one hit, blood spilling from his back where a deep gash had just appeared. He put his hand in his pocket, and was horrified to find that he had left his wand in the dorms. He slowly got to his feet, swaying a little as the rapid loss of blood started to affect him "What's wrong with you?"

Aria raised a sleeve. "I'm a Death Eater, retard," she stated slowly, "Really now, why else would I attack a mud-blood."

She sent a diffindo and another crucio at him, as well as an incendio to his hair.

He had heard rumors that some of the professors were Death Eaters, but hadn't believed them until now. his reflexes had been slowed down, and another smaller cut appeared on his fore arm He was hit by the crucio, once again sending to the ground writhing in pain, but missed the incendio.

Aria decided to perform what she thought was becoming her signature hex. She waved her wand and a thick black mustache appeared on his face. then she sent an avada kedavra at him, a bit to the side, not meant to kill him, just to scare the sh** out of him.

John didn't much care about the mustashe, it was the avada kedava that just missed him by centimeters that worried him. "Come on, we're not that bad." he said putting his hands up in surrender

Aria send a incendio at him, striaght for his hands. "Yes you are. You're worse." she said queitly. "All mud-bloods are scum." Then she hit him with a relashio.

John cried out when the incendio hit his hands, lighting them on fire, burning him. He tried to smother the flames in the grass but movement of his hands was agonizing. This woman was nuts, and he wouldn't be surprised if he didn't get back to the castle.

Aria laughed as she watched his ahnds burn, then send avanishing spell on his head. the result was hilarious combination, a bald guy with a giant mustache.

She was laughing hard, but she mangaed to send a non verbal levicorpus at him.

John was hanging upside down, whimpering The deep gash on his back was still bleeding and it was hard to focus on anything but the pain. The fire on his hands was creeping upwards, engulfing his arms as well.

Aria twirled her wand through the air, and Johnathan began to spin around like a top. Then with another movement, she vanished his pants and robes, leaving him in sneakers, shirt and underwear, bald and with a mustache.

She sent a stream of icy cold water at him to wash out the fire, she didn't want him to die on her...yet, and then charmed several rocks to fly at him and beat him repeadetly.

Solana walked down the very familiar path to the lake. The lake had become her signature hang out, she could usually be found there once or twice a day.

Today she wore a pair of black skinny jeans. a pink shirt, and pink and black stripped converses.

She looked up suddenly as sje heard screams coming from the lake, and in an instant had her wand out and was running foward.

Aria looked up as she heard footsteps runing near. She send a quick obliviate towards the boy, which hit him in the face, and then slipped away into the trees.

Solana reached the lake just in time to see a figure slip into the trees. She wasn't an idiot, she wasn't going after ti, knowing full well it was most likely a Death Eater. A boy hung in the air, his arms badly burned, obviously just having been tortured. He had no pants, no hair, and a big mustaches. She send a cushioning charm on the ground under him, and nonverbally release dhim, then vanished his mustache. Unfortunatley, there was nothing she could do for his pants...or his hair.

She knew who he was,a fter all, they were both Hufflepuff 7th years..

She knelt beside him and asked, "Are you all right? Come on, I'll help you get to the Hospital wing." she added.

By the time Aria had extingushed the fire, John was out cold, he slowly started to come back around, hearing someone ask him if he was okay. He tried to get up and say something but instantly regretted it, and blacked out again. He didn't remember what had happened, but he felt like he had been hit by a truck.

Casey had been walking along the lake when she too had heard a scream. Whipping her wand out, Casey ran to find the source. She was a little nervous as to what she'd find. But nothing could've prepared her for what she did see. She found John laying on the ground, obviously unconcious and in terrible shape, and Solana, a fellow Hufflepuff she didn't know very well looking over him. "John!" She screamed, although her voice came out barely above a whisper. Tears welled up in her eyes as she ran over to him, and she willed them not to spill over. "Is he ok?" She asked desperately, turning to Solana. "What happened? We have to get him to the hospital wing..." She was frantic and her words were just barely decipherable (i think that's a word...).

"I don't know what happened!" repsonded Solana. "I just found him like this right now. I think his hands and arms have been burned up, and maybe he was hit with a crucio, but I'm not sure."

She whipped out her wand and conjured a stretcher, which she then levitated John onto. "Let's get him to the hospital wing."

He could hear someone who sounded like they were panicking, he didn't understand what they were saying and it took him a little bit to recognize the voice. Casey, she sounded upset, she was ok right? He slowly managed to open an eye, feeling so weak, it was taking everything he had not to pass back out. "Casey?" He asked softly, as she swam in and out of focus with another girl. "Are you...alright?" he asked

Casey nodded and tried to calm herself down, now was not a good time to panic. She watched as Solana levitated John onto the stretcher, beginning to feel completely helpless. When John whispered her name, she looked at him concerned. "I'm fine John," She told him quietly, managing a small smile. "How are you?" she asked, hoping to keep him from passing out again.

Solana watched the exchange silently, then began moving the stretcher ahead of her, keeping her wand up. "Keep your wand out," she whispered to the other girl, Casey was her name, "The person who did this, I saw them slip into the surronding trees. They could still be around."

"I've been better." Now that he knew Casey was alright, he just wanted to sleep, even with his eyes open, blackness was creeping quickly back into his vision so he closed his eyes. He heard the other girl say something about someone doing this, which caught his interest enough to keep him awake. "What happened?"

"I think he was obliviated," said Solana to Casey. "He doesn't remember what happened."

To Johnathan she said : "I don't know, I didn't see them. They were almost to the castle by now, and Solana kept looking around, making sure no one was trying to taek a shot at them like they had done to Johnathan.

OOC: Should we move this to the hospital wing?

Casey nodded at Solana's point, keeping her wand in a tight grip just in case. "Either that or he hit his head. But I think you're right on that one...." she sighed, John really didn't look good, she only hoped he'd be ok. She was relieved to find that they were almost back at the castle, "We're almost there John, just hold on a little longer, ok?" She kept her voice soft and reassuring, trying desperately not to panic again.

Solana floated the stretcher up the front steps to the castle and inside. The school was quiet, it was after twelve after all, and she headed towards the main staircase, Casey beside her.
