Angela sighed as she walked across the grounds coming to a stop when she reached the lake. She quickly sat down and started to think about things back home. It has been awhile since got any letters from her family. She sighed loudly thinking about the last conversation she had with her uncle.

'Who does he think he is, telling me to grow up?' she sighed. 'Just because he follwed up you know who's butt doesn't mean I want to be apart of anything like that.'

She picked up and stone and tossed in the water not even trying to make it skip, so it just plunked into the water.

Jessie walked down the path towards the lake, her hands in her pockets. Even her hawk was being unusualy quiet, save the slight swish of his wings. She looked back at the castle, trying to keep the headache from her first day at hogwarts. She looked forward, and stumbled over a root sticking out beside the path. She heard a slight splash near the water, and turned to follow it. She stepped out behind a tree to spota Slythern (ooc: hope i spelled it right >.>) but her bird, being the over-confident critter he was, swooped in and landed beside the girl. Jessie approached her, waving slightly.

Angela looked to her side and noticed some kind of bird near her. She eyed it before taking out her wand and pointing it at the bird. She was ready to cast any spell to just send it away when she looked up and saw a girl coming.

'Bird must belong to her.' she thought and put her wand away.

She noticed the girl waving. 'I hope that's at the bird.' she thought sarcastically.

"Hi." she mumbled to the girl approaching.

Jessie looked down at the girl, and crouched down a few feet from her. "What'cha doing out here? Not that its a bad place, but your alone. " She noticed the girls wand out, and quickly have a slight hand signal. Noticing the movement, the hawk took off over the lake, leaving the two alone. Jessie turned back to the girl. "What year are you in? You look like its your last year. Is it hard?" She blinked for a second, then fell silent.

Angela eyed the girl. 'Why do people insist on talking to me?' she asked herself then smirked slightly. "Actually I'm only a fourth year." She answered the girls question.

"Hard? Not really, I mean I rarely do anything here." she said grinning at the girl. She then couldn't resist teptation.

She reached in her cloak for a cigarette and lighter. "I would offer you one but, you look too young." She said. 'Boy am I a hypocrit.' She thought sighing as she remembered the first time she smoked she was only 11.

" What year are you?" she asked getting herself out of her thoughts.

Jessie glanced at the lighter and cigarrette, but didnt mention anything of it. She nodded, listening, then finally had the first question asked to her, startling her for a second "Wh- oh, im a first year. Still trying to find my classes, to be honest. I wish they gave you a map of where you classes where, instead of just letting you wander." She sighed. "So what are you doing down here? I thought I was going to be the only one down here, but it might get rid of my headache to hear what you have to say."

Angela smirked alittle. "Getting somewhat lost? I used to take advantage of that and just wander around." Angela sighed. She took a long drag from her cigarette.

Angela sighed for a minute. He mind always wandered to thoughts that it shouldn't wander to. She thought more about her uncle but quickly stopped thinking and answered her question.

"I was just coming her to not think baout things and found myself thinking of them." She said somewhat smiling.

Jessie nodded at the girls words, beofre looking up sharply. "You know, we've been talking now for a few minutes, and i never asked what your name was." She thought for a moment if the girl aswered her question.

"We're supposed to be using our wants in all our classes tomorrow. I've never used my wand before. " She pulled it out and looked at it. 11 inches long, with Ebony wood and a phoenix feather in it. "I keep thinking that if i use it im going to end up breaking it, or hurting someone using it."

"My name's Angela," She said tossing her cigarette after taking the last drag from it. She looked at the girls robes and noticed that she was in gryffindor. She shook her head slightly. 'Doesn'y matter if she's in gryffindor, be nice.' she warned herself. "Whats your name?"

"Don't worry you aren't going to hurt anyone with your wand." She said. "Well unles you actually mean to." she added smirking.
