Title: Transfiguation #1
Lycs Anima - June 25, 2008 12:07 PM (GMT)
Lycs walked into his room and smirked- time for a new school year. He still had his desks set with shabby desks at the front and perfect one's at the back, and they'd still be sat at by the same type of students, determined by blood type.
Transfiguration
The basics
Was wrote on the board and he sat back in a chair at hius desk, waiting, a list in his hand.
Valentina Greysoul - June 25, 2008 02:57 PM (GMT)
Valentina walked in the room confidently. Transfiguration was one of her favourite subjects at Hogwarts, and she adored the teacher.
She swang her bag on the desk and sat back down.
That year, she would be in competition with Andrej, another very good student.
" 'Morning, Professor!" She said merrily, while getting her stuff out.
April Teagan - June 25, 2008 03:19 PM (GMT)
Sweeping through the halls, April rushed into the Transfiguration classroom, hoping not to be late for this particular class. She didn't want to mess with the Professor, who was her head of house, and was a little bit on the scary side anyways. She bowed into the room and stood awkwardly at the back of the room, not sure where to sit.
"Morning Professor," she said quickly. "Anywhere in particular you'd like us to sit?"
AJ Vitcav - June 25, 2008 07:04 PM (GMT)
AJ was off to his favourite class. This was the only one he looked forward to. He felt he had mastered most of Transfiguration with a little extra help from the professor. And now that he was an animagus, he felt even more special, though he kept that a secret amongst friends. The classroom was quite empty. He sat down in the front not saying a word. He just looked around at the others.
AJ opened his book and began to read, even though it wasn't asked.
Lycs Anima - June 25, 2008 09:19 PM (GMT)
Lycs looked around the class and smiled. So far he had three students present. Velentina, he was sure, would turn our to be a star by the time her OWLs came around, and AJ was amazing- he'd not seen a student so dedictaed since he had been a student himself. He knew little of April, except she was in his house and was the tetrawizard tournament champion for it.
"Hello you three, good holiday?" he asked.
Jessie Phoenixfire - June 25, 2008 10:42 PM (GMT)
Jessie walked into class, finally not late for something. She walked beside the head desk, and smiled at the professer. "Good morning professer. Any seating order you would like us to sit in?" She was in a really good mood, having finally been able to keep her hawk away from classes.
She looked around the classroom and spotted a few people she had seen very briefly. AJ Vitcav she had only heard about, but at least it had been good things.
Emily Fall - June 26, 2008 10:10 AM (GMT)
Emily walked into the class. She couldn't help to smile. It was the fact that the Professor had a thing for her cousin Roxane. "Good morning professor. Are we having planed seating this year?" Emily asked. But still Emily was great at Transfig and she loved it.
Emily saw a few people she knew. Aj, he was.. ok. Jessie, she was knew and was always followed by a Hawk. April, she was a nice person. They got along but she didn't know much else about her. Valentina, she was a nice person. Emily made sure to be nice to her so she wouldn't spill the beans about her biggest secret. This year was going to be complicated.
Lycs Anima - June 26, 2008 12:10 PM (GMT)
He smiled at Jessie and looked down his list. Half blood. Well, at least he only had one person's life to make hell so far- not that he wanted to do that. "Middle desks, anywhere on the middle desks." he told her, eyeing the room. Harshing had made his classroom order the order that every NDE teacher had to follow, and he was glad of such.
Th Emile Fall came in. He'd heard by now that she was Roxanne's cousin and smiled. "Back desks, Emily, you know the order." he winked at her. "How's your cousin by the way?"
Jessie Phoenixfire - June 26, 2008 12:51 PM (GMT)
Jessie shrugged. Middle desks weren't that bad. She walked over placing her bag beside the desk closest to the door in the middle row, and sat down in it. Squrming a little, she placed a quill, parchment and her wand. She really hoped she didnt need to use her wand. She had barely used it, only when holding it at Olivanders. Picking up her quill, qhich turned out to also be from her hawk - nice reminder of him being freely soaring the skies at the moment - she quickly wrote down:
Transfiguration
The basics
She then looked around the class, smiling at Emily, who she briefly met in a few other classes. Then there was nothing else to do untill the rest of class came in, so she practiced wand movements - making sure not to talk in the process.
AJ Vitcav - June 26, 2008 02:10 PM (GMT)
AJ had a good holiday and told Prof. Anima so. He looked around to see who else was coming in, Student he surely could run circles around. He turned around in his chair to face the rest of the class just to be more social.
"Going to be an exciting class?" he said to the student next to him.
Lily-Ann Pace - June 26, 2008 04:59 PM (GMT)
Lily-Ann had skipped to class, mostly for the glances she got. Who would imagine a Slytherin skipping? Lily-Ann's hair was pulled back in to pigtails, twi green ribbons holding it in place, a smile played happily on her lips as Lily-Ann came into the classroom.
"Good Morning!" Lily-Ann said as she sat in the very back. This wasn't her favorite class, but she wasn't aweful at it either.
Angela Jiminez - June 26, 2008 07:37 PM (GMT)
Angela walked into the classroom and looked around the room. "Hello Professor." she greeted. Angela actually liked transfiguration, it was a subject she enjoyed. She decided atleast she wouldn't be miserable in all of her classes.
Emily Fall - June 26, 2008 08:06 PM (GMT)
Emily sat down at the desk at the back. "She's really happy for some reason. She won't tell me what it is" Emily said to the professor. Emily knew how Lyrc planed his desks. Emily thought it was quite... bloodest. But there was nothing Emily could really do. Emily waited for the class to begin.
Fawne Sugarmoon - June 26, 2008 09:43 PM (GMT)
She was almost dragged through the door, Craven's hand clasped around her wrist as he walked into the room. She didn't seemed flustered by the forced walk but she did seem a little more pale than normal. It wasn't that Fawne was ill, though she looked very tired. It was just that she'd stumbled, which was unusual, on the way to lesson. It was that unusual that the little stumble had caused Craven to be alarmed and drag her to class. Her footsteps were still light but they made more noise than normal as she walked to a pause. waiting for seating instructions. The half smile that was usually on her lips was smaller than normal but she seemed fine other wise.
"Hello Professor Anima." her voice was just as light as always too.
-----------------
Craven had forced his company upon his sister early that day when he'd seen how tired she looked; and then when she nearly fell, down the stairs at that, he refused to let her walk on her own. She was paying no attention to anything and so he'd grabbed hold of her wrist guided her to the classroom. Once there he quickly let go of her, rolling his eyes and placing a slytherin grin on his face as he acknowledge the professor. He was waiting for their seating places, that seemed to have dished out to everyone else.
"Professor."
Ashton Thomas - June 30, 2008 09:13 PM (GMT)
Ashton walked into transfiguration. "Hello professor." He he greeted. He wasn't exactly sure where he should sit. He looked around and decided to wait.
Rebecca Emery - July 1, 2008 03:17 AM (GMT)
Rebecca walked along the halls dodging a few students here and there that would stand in the middle of the hall making all other students who passed by move around them. It was something that annoyed Rebecca very much, but yet she always did good not to let it show. Just as she always did.
Sighing quietly at her thoughts Rebecca put a smile on her face as she made her way into the Transfiguration room. This was one of her two most favorite classes. Even though the teacher, Professor Anima, was a little strange, not to mention scary Rebecca never let that bother her. It was her favorite class after all. Why should she let the teacher damper her spirits, right?
Smiling at her thoughts Rebecca made her way farther into the classroom and towards the students which were all standing near the desks. Taking in each students face one in particular caught her attention. Craven was standing there alongside his sister, Fawne. A girl who she had met just at the end of last year. Grinning at her thoughts she walked over behind Craven her footsteps quiet in the chatter of students. She stopped directly behind him and waited for him to notice her and the class to begin. Waving a couple times to some friends as she did so.
This was the first time of the new year she'd seen Craven and part of her could only be nervous yet curious to his reaction of her new more feminine appearance. Or her grown up appearance as April had put it. Biting her lip to stop the laughter that was about to burst from her Rebecca wondered briefly why anyone wasn’t seated yet.
Nana Dirks'n - July 1, 2008 03:56 PM (GMT)
Nana walked quietly into the classroom, hoping that she wasn't late. She saw all the people standing up and assumed that she wasn't late. Nana wondered why no one was sitting down yet so she walked up to the group of people who were standing up, despite her own shyness. She smiled at April who was the only person she recognized.
Adriaan Murphy - July 1, 2008 10:30 PM (GMT)
Adriaan slowly meandered in to class, he had been trying to study just earlier but ended up falling asleep. Still trying to rub the sleep from his eyes and took in the class. Some were still standing around while a few hand taken seats. A little suprised by this he paused in his journey to a seat. He looked to the professor, then back at the people who were up. Assuming there was some reason why they were standing he remained standing too. He took a step to the side so that he wouldn't block the door, but remained close to it.
Arien Broliex - July 2, 2008 01:54 PM (GMT)
-Arien slowly steps into to the classroom carrying his small pack, he had bags under his eyes and he was thoughtlessly groaning about his sleep schedule, sitting down he goes through his pack and takes out his wand a quill and some parchment before slowly shutting his glazed over eyes and without a sound he dozed off dreaming of himself morphing into a deep grey snow leopard as he bounds around a forest happily stirring up leaves and uprooting small trees and plants-
Jessie Phoenixfire - July 3, 2008 12:11 AM (GMT)
Jessie looked up from her spellbook, where she was looking through transifguration spells, and wondered why everyone was standing up. Shrugging, she went back to her book and continued practicing one of the wand movements.
Craven Blackwood - July 8, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)
Fawne although seeming a little flustered from being escorted to her lesson was still very much aware. She had noticed Rebecca as soon as she entered the room, mostly because her grey eyes were trained on the students entering the room and the crowd that was gathering near the door; waiting to be set into the seating plan. She smiled delicately at Rebecca her hand waving lightly in greeting, hoping Rebecca remembered who she was. She noticed she looked different, more grown up even, but then Fawne wasn’t the type of comment on people’s appearance. Though the opposite could be said for her brother who was now looking at her with undisguised confusion as she waved.
----------------------------------------
Craven hadn’t noticed Rebecca’s entrance yet, he hadn’t notice much to be perfectly honest. He was wondering for his sister’s health and sanity and just wanting to sit down in his seat. He knew why Anima used a sating plan, it was all about blood types, or it had been last year anyway. Craven was almost sure he and Fawne wouldn’t be sat near each other, she now had a well known status as a blood traitor and although he forgave her many Purebloods didn’t.
He was drawn form his musing when he noticed said sister waving. He looked at her with undisguised confusion. Had could one girl be so serene and wistful when she was surrounded by the people she was? Who was she even waving at? With a resigned sigh he gave into his curiosity and turned to face the wave receiver. His mismatched eyes widened appreciatively as he set eyes on Rebecca. At first he just noticed it was her but within moments he noticed her newer look. He always thought her pretty but now she had grown up over the summer into a more feminine person, and it suited her well. A Slytherin-esque smirk set onto his features as he greeted her, though there was a hint of that lopsided smile he always gave her underneath. He had a Slytherin reputation to keep after all but that didn’t stop him saying his next words in that cheeky deep tone of his.
“What no hello for me? You know I wouldn’t say you weren’t cute before but now your gorgeous, though don’t expect me to say it again...” He winked at her, his teasing obvious and his behaviour completely oblivious to his surrounding audience. “Summers been fun then I take it?”
Rebecca Emery - July 8, 2008 07:57 PM (GMT)
As Rebecca walked in and stood behind Craven, waiting to see if he would notice her she watched Fawne smile at her and wave. Almost instantly Rebecca smiled back and waved, glad to see at least one of them had seen her. Nevertheless she stopped waving as she watched Craven suddenly turn sharply to his sister as she'd been waving. Rebecca smiled at this knowing he was probably confused, wondering to whom she was waving to. And of course curiosity got the better of him and he turned.
Rebecca’s smile could only widen as she took in his reaction. His eyes widened appreciatively and he adopted the most Slytherin like smirk she'd seen yet. Underneath though there was no mistaking the lop sided smile. Part of her new he had to keep up his reputation, but still it annoyed her a little bit and she rolled her eyes playfully and shook her head at him. Though this task of hers was interrupted by his sudden words.
Almost instantly the need to blush was filling Rebecca though she held it down the best she could. In the end she assumed there was at least a light pink tint to her usually white cheeks. As she glanced to Craven she held the smile on her face knowing he was probably completely unaware of everyone in the room. Though of course she wasn't. Glancing around at everyone's faces she took a deep breathe and let herself laugh at Craven's words.
"Hello Craven, thank you for the compliment. And of course what kind of person would I be to expect it again?" Pausing for a moment a small smirk adorned her features though it was quickly replaced with a smile as she moved to stand next Craven, pretty much trying to hide herself now. "My summer was decent. Kind of boring I must admit. And yours?"
Saphira Adair - July 14, 2008 05:27 PM (GMT)
Saphira walked in to the Transfiguration classroom. She was excited about this class the moment she walked in. “Hi Professor, where would you like me to sit?”. As she was waiting Saphira copied down what the professor had on the blackboard.
