April had climbed the Astronomy Tower steps with ease, a familiar route to her by now, and settled against the cold stone wall, staring into nothingness. The moon wasn't out tonight it seemed, and neither were the stairs, so the area was pitch black. April lit a torch on the wall for light, and then relaxed in the serene atmosphere. The wind was cool tonight, but the air still had a summery warm feleing to it, which was nice.
Dressed in simple attire tonight, April felt comfortable by being aone on the stone Tower. Ripped jeans, a tight green tank top, silver flats and a silver cloak. She was happy her sleection made her look good and not too cold, either. She smirked to herself, twirling her wand in her fingers. She had brought along parchment and a quill, hoping to write a letter back home, also.
Moments later, dreams of that idea were shattered when she heard footsteps echoing up the Tower stairs. She put away the quill gently, but didn't move, hoping and praying that it wasn't a Professor. The light of the torch would have given her away by now anyways, so there was no use in running. She turned towards the staircase, crossing her fingers, and watched who appeared.
Dan emerged out of the staircase. He saw a girl there.
"Hi."
A boy had appeared out of the staircase, looking at her sort of simply, with his hands in his pockets and sort of shy looking. Aprl didn't know him, but at least he had greeted her. She smiled politely and motioned for him to step into the light, where she could see him more properly.
"Hello. I'm April. You're up kind of late, huh?" she asked nicely, suddenly in a chipper mood. This was probably because she hadn't been caught by a teacher.
