Ashton walked into the Astronomy tower in the middle of the night. He wasn't tired and had a lot on his mind. He sat down and sighed loudly to nothing in particular. He was new and had no friends here and some people he would rather not be friends with. He looked up at the sky. 'The stars are nice..' He thought to himself. He heard a noise from bvehind him. "Is anyone there?" He asked aloud.

Angela got extremely bored and restless and found her self walking into the Astronomy tower. She sighed and took out a cigarette. It seemed to be a ritual now to her. 'At least I'm not drinking again.' She thought. Only one bad habit at a time. She walked in expecting to be alone but saw a figure.

"Yea there's someone here." Angela said walking closer towards him. "Um..I'm Angela." She said introducing herself as she lit her cigarette.

"I don't think I've ever seen you before. You new?" She asked

ic: Ashton looked up at the girl. He glanced at her robes. 'No doubt a slytherin.' He thought to himself. "I'm Ashton." He said. He stood up and extedned his hand to shake.

"Yea I'm new, easy to tell huh?" He said with a small smile.

Ic- Arien hearing voices decides to go up to the astronomy tower - - cracks open the door to see a girl and a guy - - slowly pushes the door open and steps onto the balcony - -" .... Hi " he says nervously-

Angela eyed his hand and took it to shake it. "Yea nice to meet you." She said. Angela eyed him up and down and caught sight of his robes. "Hufflepuff." she laughed slightly mostly to herself.

"Anyway, it's not obious you're new or anything. I've just never seen you before." Angel shrugged slightly. She looked over when she heard a small 'hi.'

"Hi.." She said raising an eyebrow at the boy. She looked at his robes as well. 'Hmm gryffindor..time to have fun.' she thought as s mirk drew across her face. She took a drag from her cigarette hoping to cover the smirk.

-walking over towards the two he stops to grab his wand and put it up his robe sleeve- -finishes moving towards them he sits on the ledge and says "My names Arien, you?"

Ashton notice her look aty the emblum on his robes. "Yea I'm in hufflepuff how is that funny." he asked hearing a small laugh. Ashton soighed loudly before turning his attention to another person.

"Wow try and be alone and the whole school comes." he mumbled to himself. "What's your name? I'm Ashton."

-Looks towards Ashton- "Well as I just said I'm Arien. How are you two doing..."

"Well my name is Angela." She said snatching her hand back realizing she never let go from shaking Ashtons hand. She casually put her wand to be acccesed easily. "I'm bored so I decided to walk here." She shrugged. Angela notice the boy's height.

"What are you first year second year?" She asked alittle curious. Oh how she loved torturing little first year gryffindors. She was trying to control herself. 'Thank merlin I have this cigarette calming me. He'd be in little trouble.'

"And yes I do find it funny you are in Hufflepuff." Angela said vert matter-of-factly.

Ashton sighed. "Ok why is that." He asked Angela wondering why is was so hilarious.

Ashton looked down at Arien. "I'm fine and you?" He asked trying to be nice.

"Im fine thank you for asking" Arien says smiling "Well i'm a first year but I don't think it matters, and whats wrong with hufflepuff they're good people." He says nervously eying Angel's pockets

Angela looked over at Arien inching slightly closer to him. "Oh yes of course. Great people." She said in a slight sarcastic tone. "Let me ask you Arien how good are you at hexing people?" Angela asked smirking slightly at the boy awaiting his answer.

Ashton looked over at Angela. He noticed her wand moved and eyed her suspiciously. "What does it matter how good he is at hexing?" Ashton asked hoping she wasn't thinking what he thought she was.

"Not great but I'm pretty good at disarming and certain charms" Arien says in a squeaking tone

Angela sighed. "Well I was hoping for alittle better. But maybe, since Hufflepuff is so great and all, Mr.Ashton over here would like to assist you." Angela smirked widely.

Angela grabbed her wand in the blink of an eye. "Flagrate!" Angela said pointing it directly at Arien.

Ashton quickly found his wand and casted the flam freezing charm. "Are you crazy?" He asked almost yelling at Angela. "He's only a first year." Ashton said stepping closer towards them.

-Ariens eyes shoot up as he sees the hex shooting towards him, dropping quickly to the floor he shouts "EXPELIARMIS"

Angela felt her wand escape her hand and land a few feet behind her. "Not bad." She said looking at Arien. "And I just wanted to see how good he was, I knew if he wasnt that great that the perfect little hufflepuff over here would save him." Angela said rolling her eyes and walked over to pick up her wand. She slightly mumbled something and aimed her wand towards Ashton's shoelaces quickly tying them together. "There was no harm done was there? "

Ashton sighed. "I guess not." He shrugedd. He tried to take a step forward and completely fell flat on his face. "That was you wasn;'t it."

"No of course not" Arien says with a smirk spreading on his face "Just don't do it when my back is turned" he says seriously

"Of course not." Angela said. She walked closer looking down at Ashton. "It wasn't me. I didn't even have my wand until now." She smirked.

Angela peered up at Arien. "I bet he did it." she said jokingly. "For infering with him defending himself."

Ashton quickly retyed his shoes and got up. "Oh yea definately did it." He sighed. "Anyway how old are you?" He asked.

"Don't drag me into this!" Arien says quickly not wishing to make an enemy so fast.

"Oh calm down Arien." Angela said rolling ehr eyes. "He know's im not serious." She sighed.

"I'm 14. you?" She asked Ashton.

"You're 14 and you're smoking?" Ashton asked sighing. "That can't be good."

"Okay" He says letting out a sigh of relief. So what classes are you guys taking?

"What are you my dad sheesh." Angela sighed and shrugged looking over at Arien. "DADA, Potions, Transfiguration.." She trailed and tried to think. "I forget what else." She sighed. "You should definitely sign up for DADA." she said seriously at Arien. "And so should you Ashton. I wouldn't mind trying to hex you in class." Angela smirked.

Ashton rolled his eyes. "I'm 15 by the way to answer your question from before." He sighed. "And I haven't signed up for anything yet. And maybe I should sign up for DAD, trust me you wont be able to hex me."

"Funny" Arien says with sarcasm. "I'm taking charms transfiguration and yea I'm going to sign up for DADA".

Angela glared at Ashton. "Yea whatever you say. Watch when it actually happens." Angela sighed and looked over at Arien. "What are you doing here anyway? It's kind of late." She asked him.

Ashton sighed. "You'll see." He looked over at Arien. "That is a good question"

"I couldn't sleep so I decided to explore a little bit" Arien says with a yawn

"You should try exploring the forbidden forrest at night next time." Angela said smirking. "Now there's a fun trip." She said. "You look tired you should go to sleep." She added noticing his yawn.

"Na! wheres the fun in that? I thought you were a slytherin always intrested in mischief?" Arien says smirking

"Ha I am always up for mischief. Just not with somone who's going to fall asleep on me." Angela said. Which was true. She loved doing whatever she wanted whernever she wanted in school, but she preferred to do it alone. "Hey nice smirk there." Angela laughed a little.

-stops grinning- "Shush. I won't fall asleep, wanna mess with filch?" Arien says smiling again "It would be fun, don't you think?"

Angela rolled her eyes. "You can onl mess with him so many times that it gets boring." Angela sighed. "Are you sure you belong in Gryffindor?" She asked. 'That's how I used to act when I was a first year.' she thought.

"Unless that stupid sorting hat was wrong than yea I'm in Gryffindor" Arien says with a bored look on his face

"All your family was in gryffindor?" Angela asked wondering if maybe he took after some random relative who was in slytherin.
