Adriaan hurried up the steps, this stupid tower and its being so tall. His glasses bounced on his face as he went along. All he wanted to do was look at the stars; he should have known all these stairs would be involved. It was common sense really, you want to look at stars, you have to go up tons of stairs. He slumped around the corner of the stairs and in to the first floor with telescopes in it. He didn’t care enough to go any higher up; he had come here on a whim and didn’t really know what made him want to see the stars tonight.

He laid his small book on a table, and paused questioning if he should leave it unattended. Though, who would really want to steal a book? He shook his head and casually moved to one of the telescopes. He looked at it for a few seconds then lifted his glasses and settled his eye in to place.

He must have looked funny standing, or bending, there. He was a bit tall for the telescope and had to hunch his back quite a bit to get his eye where it needed to be.

Emily skipped up the stairs. She knew she would have to be careful not to trip up the stairs ((OOC:it happens to me LOTS)). IC; Emily walked into the room and lay down on the ground. Emily turned her head and looked at the other person in the room. He was Hufflepuff, her year and quite tall. She knew he was her year because they had been in 5th year only classes together. Emily knew she must of looked a little strange laying on the ground in the middle of the floor. It was quiet, to quiet. "I'm not crazy by the way" Emily said to break the silence.

Adriaan flailed, spooked by her voice. His long arm knocking over the telescope he had been looking through. He looked over his shoulder to see who had snuck up on him, though he was sure they hadn't really snuck. He was so clueless. He blushed lightly when he finally saw Emily, her being on the floor and all wasn't something he had expected. He had, of course, seen her around, in his classes and the hufflepuff dorm. He laughed at himself and nodded "Why would you be crazy?" He asked turning to the telescope and trying to sit it back upright. "At least you're not breaking things." he said jokingly.

"Don't you mean not breaking things yet" Emily said joking. "I'm Emily" Emily said as she got up. "I hope I didn't surprise you to much." Emily smiled. She loved to meet new people. But that didn't happen that much because is was kinda a loner. Emily looked downn at her feet. She was wearing her ballet slippers. She had no idea why she decided to wear them. But they were pretty.

Emily sat down at the table. And crossed her long legs. Emily started to undo the ballet slippers and said "So whats your name?"
