Title: First Day
Description: Open to everyone
Evangeline Winters - July 2, 2008 09:06 PM (GMT)
Evangeline stood behind the librairian's desk and smoothed her bright yellow robes. Today was her first day as Hogwarts new Librairian--the farthest job she could find from being a healer.
But that was an old part of her life and she pushed it from her mind. She began to sort through some reccently returned book, waiting to see if anyone would need help. She couldn't wait to meet some new people.
Etna Jeneall - July 3, 2008 12:41 PM (GMT)
Etna came into the library, hoping for the old librarian. She needed to turn in the keys that Etna borrowed last night. The old librarian trusted her quite well but when Etna got to the desk and looked at this new librarian, she merely sighed.
"Um, the old librarian lets me stay at night as long as I lock up... so um here are the keys she made me. I'm supposed to turn them in, every morning but... she's not here." Etna smiled and brushed a darl red curl from her face, "I'm Etna." She said.

"Hello Etna," said Evangeline, "I'm Evangeline but you can call me Evie, it's shorter," she finished smiling brightly. "As for those keys...as long as I don't find you doing anything wrong in the library, why don't you just..." she paused, took out her wand and cast acharm, duplicating the keys. "Here," she said, handing them to her, "You can keep a copy.
"So, Etna, what year and house are you?" she asked.
Etna Jeneall - July 3, 2008 05:35 PM (GMT)
Etna beamed at the keys and taking them slipped them into her robe bpockets, "Oh I promise I won't do anything wrong Miss Evie." Etna couldn't help but remove the formalities. She again tuck a curl from her eyes to behind her ear.
"Ravenclaw, and um third year and no I'm not lying either," Etna almost always added that, she looked like a first year and maybe younger, but she really was a 13 year old third year. "So not to sound... rude but what happened to Madam Pince?" Etna asked, a mask of worry covering her face, "I hope she's alright, she is isn't she?" Etna asked, for she cared for the libarian.

"Really?" exclaimed Evangeline, "I was a Ravenclaw too!" She smiled at the girl, she was quite adorable and looked younger than her age. "I'm sure you wouldn't lie about your age," she replied to the girl's solem statement.
"Oh Madam Pince is fine," she said waving her hand. "She's just getting old and running a library is hard work...she needs to be relaxing anyway."
"By the way," she said to Etna, growing a bit more serious, "Don't let anyone else know about the spare copy. I can't have all of the students wanting one, and the headmaster might frown on the fact I gave you a copy alright?" She felt the girl's need for the key, even though she was a party girl, Evangeline was also a die-hard bookworn who loved books.
Etna Jeneall - July 12, 2008 01:45 PM (GMT)
Etna smiled at Miss Evie, although a bit of her was stuck in thought, but that was normal. "No, I don't think I would either." She added, after thought. Etna then beamed hearing the Madam Pince was doing okay,"Oh, okay good I was worried. My mum makes me stay here during the summer and so Madam Pince and I kinda got close." Etna shrugged.
"Oh no, I won't tell anyway. And, I promise I won't misuse it either." Etna told Evie, looking at some of the books on her desk.
"You want me to help you put things away? Thats how I got Madam Pince to let me in, I always put away the books." Etna smiled.
Evangeline Winters - July 14, 2008 09:10 AM (GMT)
Evangeline smiled warmly at Etna. She was a really adorable girl, smart too, and really nice. "Well if you want to help, I'd be glad to accept it, there is a lot of books to put away. Perhaps you'll even find something that interests you."
She walked over to a large pile of books, most of them already organized, and ready to be shelved.
"So Etna," she asked, "What kind of books do you usually borrow from the library?"
