Ricky had sprinted through the corridors and thankfully everyone was in class. Aria lay slumped in his arms until he uncerimoniusly dumped her on a bed. Completely overwhelmed by his run his pain and the fact that he had had all the wind knocked out of him, Ricky quickly fell onto the bed-next-door and soon fell into non-councioness.

Aria lay on the hospital bed unconcious, pale and shaking, sweat beaded on her forehead. There was some blood on the front of her robes, Ricky's not hers.

Hearing someone enter the hospital wing, Gwen walked out of her office to see two of the professors laying in two of the beds. She looked at the woman, who seemed to be waking up. " What happened?" she asked, looking at the blood on her robes, but didn't see a wound that it was coming from.

Aria opened her eyes. She was in the hospital wing. The healer she didn't know asked her a question. Aria didn't like her, she wished Jeraud was there, he had helped her last time, even though they couldn't really stand one another.

"He cursed me," she whispered, suprised at the rawness of her throat. "With a Crucio."

Ricky quickly awakaned. He alwaysawoke quickly at morning time. he either felt hungry or like he'd forgotten something importent. Today it was the latter. Although it wasn't morning. It seemed to be afternoon. In a building he reconised as the Hospital Wing. He sat up quickly only to find Aria talking in a sore voice to a healer. He caught the last of her words. He bubbled up in anger, she had started it by hexing him. How dare she blame him! He had a good mind to go up and kiss her again.

Gwen went to the cupboard and got a small vial of potion. "Drink this, it'll take what ever affects from the spell away." she said walking over to the man and healed the cuts, at least she knew now where the blood had come from. Seriously, it was one thing for children to curse eachother, but adults? seriously.

Aria drank the potion. She still felt a bit shaky and cold but the pain was all gone. Now that she could think clearly, she was mortified. Wait until word gets out, she thought, turning red.

She noticed Ricky waking up and quickly palmed her wand.

"I thought using an Unforgiveable curse on another human being warranted a life sentence in Azkaban," she said loudly, looking over at the healer.

"What the hell were either of you thinking cursing each other in school? You are professors, grow up. What if a student had been hurt due to your stupidity?" she asked, the one thing she could not stand was cruelty to other people, especialy if there was a chance a child could have been hurt. She really didn't know what to do with either of them, discipline wasn't something she had the right to give, especially to other adults. "What are your names?" she asked.

Ricky looked shocked.
"Hello! That rules was banished when Voldemort was still reigning. No one remembered to put it back when he died. I would of thought, you of all people would have remembered that," he said looking over at Aria dissaprovingly. "Besides you used Crucio on me as well and don't try to deny it."
Ricky saw Aria turn bright red. He knew exactly why. God, if the news got out, it would spread like wildfire. he couldd just imagine it
Professer! Is it true you tried to kill Professer Casanov?
Professer! Is it true you kissed her after?
God, he would never live it down.

"Well my crucio missed you," she replied. "Yours actually hit me. And what do you mean, 'me of all people?" she asked, her eyes narrowing dangerously.

Suddeny she remembered he had kissed her. And bitten her lip. And pulled her hair. The healers request of her name forgotten, Aria slashed her wand and sent a bat boogey hex at him.

"Why the hell did you kiss me!" she yelled angrily.

"Why did you like it?" Ricky said grinning as he ducked the hex. "See miss she's just plain violent. My names Ricky Ladder, very nice to meet you." He said putting on his most charming voice. He wasn't in a very good mood now. Two angry woman weren't neccesarily his likes. Actually a lot closer to his dislikes. Gwen looked fearsome and Aria looked.....Seething with rage is the only true exspression. Ricky gulped.

Gwen rolled her eyes, this was rediculous. Putting a hand on Aria's wand she glared at the other woman angerly, she didn't want to have to stun her, but she would if she didn't stop, and she wouldn't be ignored. "STOP!" She wasn't really yelling, but her voice was louder and her tone more stern than it almost ever was.

"Listen lady," said Aria in a low, dangerous voice, biting out each word. "Do. Not. Touch. Me. Again. Or else you will be lying in the bed right next to the mud-blood."

Then she said to the other. "So what did you mean, someone like me?" she was getting angrier by the minute. She sent another hex his way, a stinging hex.

Ricky ducked. That lady was one angry woman.
"Miss Ravin, may I suggest that I take care of quietening down Miss Casanov while you clean her up a little. My blood has kind of stained her clothing. I can safely say I know how to shut her up," He said with a grin at both ladies. Buy this was gonna be fun. To gorgeous angry ladies, one very polite man.
Let the deuling....begin.

"Ricky, get out of here. I am in no mood for either of you." She said, or more or less ordered,annoyed at the womans attitude. "Don't use that word around me." Gwen said, trying very hard to keep her temper in check, she raised her own want and sent a stunning curse at her, she needed to make her stop before she hurt someone again and as long as he was here, she doubted it would stop.

"I'm not done with you yet, mud-blood," she said, emphasising the word. She blocked Gwen's stunner and sent another Sectemsempra at Ricky, then one at Gwen.

She could feel her blood pounding in her ears and her Dark Mark began to throb and burn. She ignored it and sent a volley of stinging hexes at both people in the room.

"Oy, I don't wanna get out!" He lay down on the bed showing all the cuts she had yet to heal.
"These really badly sting. They need fast treatment I reckon."
Ricky suddenly screamed in pain as several of the cuts burst open on his back.

Aria laughed as Ricky screamed out when his back tore open. She could feel the darkness pouring out of the mark on her arm, exciting her. She walked up to Ricky's bed and waved her wand over his face. A thick black mustache sprang up.

She laughed harder and sent one Gwen's way. She was begining to loose control, which was something that rarely happened to Aria.

Gwen dodged the curse and quickly went back over to Rickey and healed the cuts she had over looked and the ones that were new. She turned to Aria, absolutely furious, "GET OUT! YOU TWO ARE DONE, THERE WILL BE NO MORE FIGHTING IN HERE!" She yelled at her, wand raised. "You better leave now, or the head master will find out about the 'fun' you two have been having, and I don't think he will like it very much."

Ricky could sense Aria getting totally out of control. He quickly vanished his moustache. He waited for the right moment and then jumped onto, Rugby Tackle style. Her robes crumpled so that you could see skin and a Belly Button. Blood flowed freel onto the pale skin.
"Aria, listen to me. You're getting way out of control. You need to speak to someone. Confide in someone and not one of you so-called Death Eater allies either. Someone who you feel you can rely on, do you here me?"

Aria struggled under Ricky and nearby one of the lamps exploded, pieces of glass flying throughout the room. Aria could do wandless magic and it tended to occur when she was really angry,

"I'm not a Death Eater!" she yelled, "Who the hell told you that?!"

She tried to shove Ricky off but couldn't. However another bout of magic sent him flying across the room.

Aria lay on the floor, breathing hard, her eyes closed.

Gwen cleaned up the broken lamp and knelt down by Aria, who finally seemed to be done for the most part, at least she hoped so. "I know you don't like me very much, but please you need to stop before you hurt yourself. Are you alright?" she asked her, her voice, back to its usual calm and caring tone. She looked back at Ricky to make sure he was alright.

"Ooof" Ricky said landing flat on his stomach. "Who did that, that bloomin well hurt as well!" He looked upto the face of Gwen extremely angry. He thought it would be best to quitenher quickly.
"Silencio," he muttered under his breath and Ricky watched the jinx hit home neatly. With Gwen now peaceful, all he had to do was take care of Aria. God, how he hoped she wouldn't be much trouble.

Aria heard the woman talking, but it sounded as if she was really far away. She didn't feel like talking right now, her senses were returning and she was shocked that she had allowed herself to loose control--that had never happened before, although since taking the Dark Mark she had felt angrier lately.

She kept her eyes closed and remained lying on the floor, wishing she could apparate away.

Ricky walked over to Aria. Crouching down beside her he could see she was humiliated and wished to remain silent. He silently elevated her onto a bed and stood up. He followed the form of Aria until she dropped onmto the bed. He stroked a stray hair from her face and sat down on the chair. He would wait there until she felt ready to talk. Struck with an idea Ricky rolled up her left sleeve. There glowing on her forearm was the Dark Mark. He gently covered it back up.
He flicked his once and at once Gwen was able to talk again. Arias head rolled around on the pillow.

Aria lay on the bed. uunmoving, her anger ebbing away. She was suprised that Ladder hadn't dumped her on the bed again--he seemed to be behaving...nicely? Why? She had cursed him. She wasn't going to talk to him. Her brusises were hurting from where he had tackled her and he had bled all over her.

Besides she was too embarrassed to say anything.

He lifted her sleeve and she stiffened. She thought of perhaps obliviating him and Gwen, no one was supposed to have seen her Dark Mark.

She reached a hand down and traced it through the cloth. It was hot to the touch, even through the fabric but it didn't hurt anymore.

She lay on the bed silently, tracing her mark, waiting for him to leave.

"Are you two alright?" she asked, raising an eyebrow at the sudden change in the two of them, they were very strange indeed. She looked at Aria as she traced her arm. Had that really been the dark mark, or had she been mistaken? Surly the headmaster would know that if it had been.

He knew she was expecting him to leave. But he wouldn't. Not until he had deemed her safe. God, she had nearly killed him and Gwen, he needed to get some kind of calming draught. He conjoured two wet cloths and put one on her left forearm and the other he used to wipe away the blood he had leaked onto her stomach.
Once cleaning away all the blood he pressed hard on her mark with a cloth. it seemed to cool it down considerably. Probably less painful as well. It had been red hot when Ricky had touched it lightly.
He looked down at her silent form. It had been a while now. But Ricky was more than willing to wait it out just to here her. To occupy him while he was waiting, he began rubbing her bruises gently in a soothing way. He was so sorry of what he had done to her. He had gone mad as well if he thought about it. He didn't usually do stuff like that.

Aria didn't like people touching her, but she made no move to push him away, She was too tired. Besides the cloth on her arm felt good. Suddenly she felt drained, like she just wanted to sleep for several days, even though she knew she wouldn't.

When she realized he wouldn't be leaving she said in her usual expressionless voice: "What do you want?"

Finally, she spoke! Ricky was relieved , he hadn't wanted to stay all night.
"What I want is for you to tell me whatever is troubling you. Even if you may hate the idea just do it. Trust me, you'll feel better afterwards. Just tell me anything. No matter how small or big it is. I know somethings troubling you. You're a Death Eater, you're going mad. You try to hurt innocent people. Tell me Aria whats the real deal with you. I want to understand." He said in a low tone.

"No. There's nothing I have to tell you that you don't already know. I'm a Death Eater. I hurt people sometimes, That's all there is to it."

She stard at him stubbornly, wiling him to leave.

He sighed.
"Look, Aria, this has nothing to do with pride, don't be so stubborn. I'm offering to hear you out, thats more than anyone else would have done and you know it. Most people would report you to Valdez and leave it. Not me Aria, I'm different. I'm not a tale tell. I need to know why you're acting like this. And I know somethings going on Aria don't try and lie to me. i swear I'll hear you out to the end. I'll help you. I'll look after you. Just tell me Aria. I swear I won't tell anyone else, please." He asked her again.

Aria sighed. "What exactly do you want me to tell you? Ask some questions and I'll answer them and then you can leave me alone," she said irritably. She felt like falling asleep, making him sit there all night. Hopefully then he'd leave.

"Well okay, What troubles are you having with your family, I've often found that family problems can often cause some personal and mood problems, also are you in a troublesome relationship. Cause that can cause klots of mood problems as well." He said willing her to answer them truthfully.

Aria sighed in annoyance. "Family problems...Well my family is full of maniacal pure-bloods who would disown me if I were anything less. My mother is expecting a baby. That's about it." She said, quickly breezing through a summary.

"See there is nothing interesting. Can you leave now?" She asked, rubbing a tired hand over her forehead.

"Ah, so you're only a Death Eater because your family would murder you if you weren't, I get it now. You don't want to be a Death Eater Aria. Trust me, you don't. Murdering people. Pure-Bloods taking over. Think deeper Aria. You're worth more than that." Ricky said, "I'll leave you, only if you agree."

"No, they would not 'murder' me," she spat out, getting fed up with him. "They are proud, of course, but they didn't care either way, as long as I believed their pure-blood ways. So," she continued, taking a breath "You are in fact wrong" Then for good measure she added, "Mud-blood."

"Now leave or I'll hex you out the door," she finished, snatching up her wand.

Ricky sighed, pulling out his wand. "This is pathetic Aria, you and I will both end up in bed if you're not careful." He added a dopey, lop-sided grin to complete the dunder-head look and shot at stunning spell at her. Maybe that would teach her some sense for a few minutes, give her some rest perhaps.

Aria's eyes widened in shock. "Me, go to bed with you!" she cried, spitting out the last word. She had her mouth open to talk when the stunning spell hit her and she fell back on the bed, furious once more.

"Idiot," Ricky muttered, "Thinking I'd go to bed with her! She's kidding herself. I actually meant in a single hospital bed each." He muttered. "Enervate," He added to his string of furious comments.
"Now. Tell me what you meant by that that last statement." He commanded. women. Their romantic hopes never seemed to cease with every blow. He hoped the stunner had knocked a bit of sense into her head. As if he would say something like that to a NDE and women which hadn't respectively tried to kill him, yet.
