Ricky walked upto Evangalines office and knocked on the door. It had took him a while to gather all the courage he had. But know he was ready to ask her out for dinner. As the door opened he said, "Evangeline, do you wanna get some dinner down in Hogsmeade?" He hoped it had been the right thing to say. It was only five though. Would she wanna eat this early?
Evangeline stared at him and smiled. She didn't want to say no, but she didn't really want a romantic dinner right now. Something as friends yes.
"Alright," she said, "I'm kinda hungry." She stood up, smoothing her bright yellow robes and dress and checking her hair.
"Let's go," she said, trying to think of a way to make this an un-romantic date.
Releived that she had said yes, Ricky said, "Where do you wanna go? I mean theres The Three Broomsticks, hogs Head, or Madamme Puddifoots?"
Evangeline tried not to feel too uncomfortable with the fact that she was going out for dinner; on a date? with Ricky. He was nice and all, but it wasn't him. She didn't know if it was right for her to e seeing someone, even on one date. Josh had only been dead about a year...
She heard him ask where she wanted to eat. "Anywhere but the Hogs Head is fine," she replied. The Hogs Head grossed her out, it was always so dirty in there.
She was at a loss for what to say so she waited for him to say something and break the awkward silence.
