Title: Flower Picking
Description: [Open]
Evangeline Winters - July 6, 2008 12:34 AM (GMT)
Evangeline walked through the forest, searching for white lillies. She loved the outdoors and nature and she took any chance she wasn't busy to wander through the forest. She never stop to think it could be dangerous in any way, since she never when in during the night.
Today Evangeline wore a silver dress with a light, matching outter robe. She already had a handful of bright pink tiger lillies and she had woven some into her hair.
She had bent down to gather a four leaf clover when she heard footsteps behind her.
Allison Rowe - July 6, 2008 12:39 AM (GMT)
Allison had been lurking around the forest after talking to Aria, looking for something to do. She seriously needed to get a full time job, something to keep her busy during the day. While she walked around, she heard someone else walking around, she was pretty sure the footsteps were human so she decided to get closer.
"Hello. I didn't think I would find anyone else here. It is a very dangerous place you know." She told the woman as she walked out into the open
Evangeline Winters - July 6, 2008 12:55 AM (GMT)
"Oh, Hello," replied Evangeline smiling. "It's not dangerous in here," she replied laughing, it's only me and the animals.I always make sure I don't go to far in and I avoid the spiders and the centaurs."
The lady looked a little dangerous to Evangeline, she was covered in Tattoo's. However, Evangeline didn't like to judge people hastily.
"I'm Evangeline," she said brightly, "But you can call me Evie if you want."
Allison Rowe - July 6, 2008 01:01 AM (GMT)
"There are much more dangerous things than animals in the forest." She said with a cold laugh, What on earth had happened to all those stories she had heard as a student, was this now the forest of happiness? " I'm Allison." she said "So tell me, what are you doing out here?" she asked as she walked a half circle around her, wand at her side
Evangeline Winters - July 6, 2008 01:05 AM (GMT)
Evangeline stared at her warily. She probably didn't have anything to fear from this lady, she thought. Her own wand was in her robe pocket. Seconds away. That thought made her feel better.
"I'm gathering flowers," replied Evangeline brightly. "They're so pretty this time of year she smiled.
Allison Rowe - July 6, 2008 01:10 AM (GMT)
"So Eve, I got to ask you something. What's you're blood status?" She asked. "Full blood?" Half?" She asked then paused for a moment. "Or are you a mudblood, I hear there are a lot of them up at the school lately. Are you one of those little leaches?" She asked her, a cruel smile on her lips as she waited her answer.
Evangeline Winters - July 6, 2008 01:14 AM (GMT)
"That isn't any of your business. And muggle borns are NOT LEECHES!" she replied indignantly, becoming angry, which she rarely was.
"And do not use that word around me," she continued. Who did this woman think she was?, she thought to herself angrily.
{ooc: Getting good lol]
Allison Rowe - July 6, 2008 01:19 AM (GMT)
"Ooooh, Did I hit a nerve?" She asked continuing to circle her, slowly getting closer. "I think you are, I think you are. You're a dirty little magic thief aren't you? Worthless little leach, rat, mouse, flea. A parasite to the wizarding community. That's what you are aren't you? She asked standing about three feet away from her. "And it is my business." She said showing her arm, and dark mark. I'm here to gain what you're kind has been sucking away from us."
Evangeline Winters - July 6, 2008 01:24 AM (GMT)
Evangeline was a pure-blood but on the principle of the matter she didn't say so, instead she said, "Muggle-borns stole nothing from you, you stupid woman. Explain to me how a child 'steals' magic?" her voice rose as did her anger and she drew her wand from her pocket.
"Your just a crazy Death Eater, stuck up on herself. I suggest you get a life," she concluded. Then she turned around and began to walk away.
Allison Rowe - July 6, 2008 01:29 AM (GMT)
"Every time they claim to be one of us, they push the real ones of us farther away." she said, she didn't need to explain herself to this woman. As soon as her back was turned she saw her oppertunity, no one ever turned away from Allison Rowe and didn't learn their mistake. "I think you're the one stuck up on them self, Crucio."
Evangeline Winters - July 6, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)
The spell hit Evangeline in the back, the intense pain dropping her to her knees as she screamed out. It felt like all of her skin was on fire. Thankfully the spell ended soon after and she slumped foward onto the ground, trying to catch her breath.
She heard footsteps approaching and quickly muttered a spell under her breath, causing something silver to shoot out of the tip of her wand and streak off.
Then pointing her wand at Allison she yelled, "Stupefy!"
Allison Rowe - July 6, 2008 01:38 AM (GMT)
"Oh you're going to have to do better than that." she said with a laugh as she dodged the stunning spell easily and got closer to Eve. "One day all mudbloods will be on their knees like this. What a wonderful sight it will be." She said, "Crucio." she wasn't going to play with unspoken spells, she wanted her to know she was messing with.
Evangeline Winters - July 6, 2008 01:41 AM (GMT)
The pain wracked Evangeline's body once more. It sent what felt like hot and cold knives stabbing sensations through her body. In the end she was pale and trembeling and sweat was beading on her forehead. Her eyes unfocused and she knew she wouldn't be able to hit her with a curse but she tried anyway.
"Expelliarmius!" she whispered, praying it hit her.
Allison Rowe - July 6, 2008 05:23 PM (GMT)
The spell hit her, just barley, catching her off guard she lost her balance for a moment, but her wand had flown somewhere into the woods, she wasn't going to go look for it, she figured she had the upper hand in just physical ability as well. "Don't worry sweetheart, I'm not going to kill you, just play with you a little bit." She said walking back over to her and kicked her, she knew it was nothing compaired to what she could have done with her wand, but it was still something that should cause her pain.
Jeraud Cynster - July 6, 2008 07:12 PM (GMT)
It had been a long day at work, at least for his thoughts. Gwen before she had left happened to let him know about two professors coming in just the other day from a duel. One of the professors, Ricky Ladder, he had no idea who he was except for name, but when it came to the other professor, Aria Casanov, he knew her quite well to say the least. He frowned slightly at his thoughts remembering their first meeting. She was a death eater and probably neo death eater.
Thinking along these lines with a frown while walking past the Forbidden forest Jer suddenly heard screaming. He could barely hear it so he assumed the person was deeper inside. Instantly taking action Jer moved to the edge of the forest and head in. The closer he got the better he could place the voice. It was a female and she seemed o be in pain...distress. He frowned deeply as his eyes looked through the forest trying to find out where exactly this woman was.
As he got closer and closer, following the continuous screaming, he suddenly saw something fly past him and land a foot or so behind him. Raising a quizzical eyebrow he could have swore it was a wand. Though whose he wasn't too sure. Okay he had a thought and so he headed back and grabbed it. After this he made his way closer to the sound until he finally saw two women. One he knew fairly well being kicked in the side and screaming and the other doing the kicking and vicious talking.
Anger flashing threw his eyes Jer stepped out of the bushes and pulled out his wand and pointing it at the woman he didn't know as he held the found wand in his tightly. As anger flashed through his hazel eyes which were fully set on the woman he didn't know he didn't bother to look at Evangeline, he would get to her in a moment, as he spoke.
"Are you alright Evangeline?"
OOC: Alrighty I got asked to join and I am. =] If my post doesn't fit or if I came in at the wrong time just let me know and I'll have an admin delete it or just ignore it. Plus Allison, it was your wand that I picked up, but if that's not okay with you just let me know and I'll change it. =]
Evangeline Winters - July 7, 2008 10:29 AM (GMT)
Still shaking Evangeline managed to stutter a 'fine'. She didn't feel fine but she wasn't dead so she figured it was the appropriate response. She wiped away some tears that had appeared on her face and sat up on the ground, rubbing her side where the woman had kicked her.
She pointed her wand at her, to curse her, but found herself unable to. Cursing her would only make her as bad as the woman in front of her, there was really no point in it unless she attacked her again.
Instead she wrapped her arms around herself and stared at the ground, feeling stupid for having ended up in this position.
[OOC: Your post is fine Jeraud. Now let's just see what Allison does. As you can see, she's a little unstable. Srry for taking so long to post Allison. :)]
Allison Rowe - July 7, 2008 04:49 PM (GMT)
"Oh look how lucky you are, someone wants to come play hero for you. Too bad he had to ruin our fun eh?" She said with a smirk as she looked at the man who had just came and back at Evangeline. She wasn't stupid, two against one when she didn't have a wand, well she knew she wasn't going to win this one, she might as well leave while she was ahead. "I'd love to sit and chat, but I'm afraid I have to run." She said and quickly started to run into the forest.
Evangeline Winters - July 7, 2008 04:58 PM (GMT)
Evangeline didn't want to hex the woman, but she didn't want her to get away either. She stood on shaky legs, swaying a little bit, the pain in her side strong, and took off after her. It hurt to run and she didn't know how far she'd make it so she pointed her wand at the woman and shot out ropes to tie her up. Her wand hand was a bit unsteady and she hoped she didn't miss.
[OOC: You left your wand behind :) ]
Allison Rowe - July 7, 2008 05:19 PM (GMT)
(Oh yeah  )
Allison hadn't expected Evangeline to follow her, so the spell caught her off guard and she fell to the ground with a thud.as the ropes tied around her legs. She moved her hand to her pocket, but remembered she had forgotten to get her wand back. She struggled to get back on her feet but couldn't, so she slowly started to scoot herself to the nearest bush to try to hide under., thorns and twigs scraped at her, but she didn't care, she did not want to be caught.
Evangeline Winters - July 7, 2008 05:25 PM (GMT)
Evangeline's spell had caught the Death Eater's legs, and as she fell, Evangeline fell too, several steps behind her, onto her knees, shaking and unable to run anymore.
She didn't want the woman to get away but she had no more stregnth left and the cruciatus curse had left her in a lot of pain.
[OOC: Srry for shortness.]
Jeraud Cynster - July 7, 2008 07:19 PM (GMT)
As Jer listened to Evangeline stutter out a yes and try to stand up he moved to help her, but what happened next pretty much blew his mind. The woman, evil woman he assumed, was running away and Evangeline who was to weak was fighting back as best as she could. As Jer stood there to register what all just happened he let Evangeline finish her task of tyng the other woman up before going to help her as she fell to the ground.
Running to Evangeline he kneeled beside her brushed a hand across her cheek as he spoke to her. "You've done just fine Evangeline, now sit her and rest. Though keep your hold on the woman. I'll take care of her." Giving his friend a once over Jer felt she would survive long enough for him to take care of the other woman and with that he stood and moved to the woman who was struggling to hide behind a bush.
Picking the woman up by the back of her shirt Jer sort of threw her on the ground and pointed his wand at her. Looking at the wand in his other hand he smirked and turned to the woman holding the piece of wood in front of her face for a moment. "I believe this is yours right? If so I'm sorry, so sorry, to let you know you won't be getting it back yet. Tell me the name of your home resides." If going according to plan he would apparate the woman back along with her wand and leave her there. it was the best he could think of right then and hopefully it would work.
OOC: Sorry for late reply and bad actions you two, lol.
Allison Rowe - July 7, 2008 10:18 PM (GMT)
Allison cried out when he picked her up, squirming and trying to swat him away much as an angry child would until he tossed her back down. When he showed her her wand she glared at him. "Drop it, don't you dare touch it, it's mine, ITS MINE!" she yelled trying to get it but her current position made that next to impossible. Taking her eyes off of her wand she looked back up at the man. "Why in the name of Merlin would I tell you where I live?" She wasn't sure if that was really a question or a statement, surly he didn't think she would be stupid enough to tell him where she was living. For all she knew her keep her tied up, call an arour or just finish her off right there in her own home.
Evangeline Winters - July 7, 2008 10:29 PM (GMT)
Evangeline watched the action unfold before her eyes, Jeraud picking up and dumping the Death Eater and asking her where she lived. She felt the need to lay down but remained sitting in order not to miss anything. The woman was rolling around, calling for her wand, but Jer held it tightly. She waited to see what would happen next.
[OOC: It wasn't bad bec ]
Jeraud Cynster - July 7, 2008 10:51 PM (GMT)
Jer could definitely feel the struggle of the woman he was holding and there was no mistaking the complete anger that was taking her over. As he threw the woman to the ground and taunted her with her own wand Jer watched as she practically screamed in his face about not touching her wand and it was hers. He smirked at her words saying with complete sarcasm, "I'm fully aware that it's yours. Though I won't be giving it back anytime soon as I said just moments before."
Announcing this Jer had the feeling it might not have been the best thing to say but what did he care? After all the woman had just hurt his friend. And no one messed with the people he cared about, especially in front of him. Knowing this he spoke to her again asking where she lived a small plan forming in his mind. Her answer was one he expected though of course and he let out a small sigh which clearly let the woman know he was bored.
"You'll tell me where you live if you first off want to be let go and two get your wand back. And I'm sure you want it back very much, don't you?" Asking this Jer taunted her again twirling her wand in his hand a small smirk adorning his features as he waited for her to reply.
Evangeline Winters - July 7, 2008 11:34 PM (GMT)
It didn't look to Evangeline like she was going to reveal where she lived. She was feeling horribly and wanted to get out of the forest, a place where she had previously felt safe.
"Can't you put a portkey on her and send her somewhere...far," suggested Evangeline weakly, she didn't like having this lady around, she made her nervous.
Allison Rowe - July 8, 2008 01:32 AM (GMT)
"I'm not that dumb, why do you want me to tell you where I live?" She asked, obviously getting more and more p****d off than before. She wanted to just go, and frankly she was scared of being turned in. "Yes, just give me my wand and send me away." she agreed. "I wont try anything, I'll gust go on my way."
(sorry it sucks.)
Jeraud Cynster - July 8, 2008 06:59 PM (GMT)
Jer's smirk fell from his face as he heard Evangeline's voice in the background. Almost instantly many realizations came to his mind. One he couldn't apparate out of Hogwarts, two Evangeline was right in that she needed to be far away, and three the woman was never going to tell him where she lived anyway. Frowning in his mind as his plan crumpled away in his mind Jer still smiled on the outside as he suddenly knew what he was going to do.
Pulling out his wand he shot a spell at the woman and watched as another set of ropes wrapped around her. Jer of course wanting the woman to feel pain tightened them a little more than necessary. Once his task was finished he turned to Evangeline and kneeled down, wrapping his arm around her waist and helping her up from her sitting position.
"Can you walk?" As he asked this he waited for an answer his eyes briefly glancing to the probably already yelling woman. Rolling his eyes he glanced back to Evangeline his hazel eyes briefly flashing concern as he stashed the woman's wand in his cloak pocket and held on to his tightly.
OOC: Sorry if my post seems godding in anyway. If it bothers either one of you just let me know. =]
Evangeline Winters - July 9, 2008 12:14 AM (GMT)
"Evangeline nodded, "Yes, I can walk." She didn't feel good but she was sure she could walk, after all she had run after the woman.
She pointed at the woman laying on the ground. "What are you going to do with her? And her wand?" she asked.
[OOC: I don't mind, it's not me u tied up, :0 lol. Sorry its so short]
Jeraud Cynster - July 9, 2008 01:06 AM (GMT)
Hearing Evangeline answer his question with a yes he smiled softly at her as if telling her she'd been pretty brave tonight. Now that he knew she cold walk he still continued to have his arm wrapped around her waist to help her, but he turned slightly and pointed his wand at the woman. Muttering a spell he watched as she was lifted into the air. Turning away Jer began to walk and the woman's body followed along behind them.
As they continued to walk out of the forest and to Hogsmeade Jer glanced at Evangeline and began to tell her his plan, knowing fully that the woman could hear everything. "Well I plan to walk to Hogsmeade, since I can't apparate inside Hogwarts grounds, and take her some place far away where I'll dump her and give her back her wand." Trailing off as they got closer and closer to their destination what Jer neglected to say is that before he tossed her wand back to her he wanted to teach the women a small lesson.
OOC: Godded again Allison, I’m sorry. It fits but if you have a problem with it let me know, please. =]
Allison Rowe - July 9, 2008 01:12 AM (GMT)
Allison squirmed against the added and tightened bonds, glaring at the man as he put her wand in his pocket, how dare he. She yelled when she was lifted into the air and led away, her struggling only becoming harder as they went on, she wanted her wand and to get away, she didn't trust the man at all, even as he told his plan.
Jeraud Cynster - July 9, 2008 05:26 AM (GMT)
Jer continued walking completely ignoring the woman's screaming. His mind was fully occupied with how to teach this woman a lesson, not to mention helping Evangeline along the grounds, on to the streets of Hogsmeade, past the stores and to the forest. It was a pretty silent and peaceful walk he had to admit, if you didn't count the screaming of course.
Sighing quietly at his thoughts Jer continued to walk a little bit into the forest before stopping, the woman's body stopping and dropping abruptly to the hard ground floor behind them as he pointed his wand at her. Glancing once at the woman, not even making sure she was okay he turned and helped Evangeline to the floor before he spoke in her ear quietly.
"I want you to stay here while I take her far away. I'll be back very soon so don't leave I want to check up on you when I get back. If I happen not to come back....which probably won't happen then go get help and tell someone I've gone and apparated to Alaska, okay?" Before he heard her answer he pulled away from her and turned to the woman sneering as he made his way over to her. Grabbing a hold of the ropes which contained the woman he held her with practiced ease as he began to apparate though not before announcing to Evangeline that he'd be back soon.
Allison Rowe - July 9, 2008 05:37 AM (GMT)
"Ouch, watch what you're doing." She spat angerly when she suddenly fell to the ground, not hard enough to break anything, but enough to leave a good bruise. She was going to say something else but the man was talking again, about what he was going to do. He was going to take her to Alaska? That was great, that was just perfect, he would kill her there and she would be cold and covered in snow on top of it all"No, you're not taking me!" She yelled trying to get out of his grasp as he held on to the ropes, "Let me-" she was cut off as they left , seconds later appearing in the middle of nowhere that was also known as Alaska.
"What the hell do you think you are doing? Untie me and give me my dam* wand back!" She yelled, trying to break free, but only causing the ropes to dig into her skin deeper. "We're away from you're precious girl friend so let me go already, what are you waiting for?"
Jeraud Cynster - July 9, 2008 07:55 PM (GMT)
OOC: Okay I hope this post is okay, if not just let me know. Oh and you can decide where she get's cut and all that stuff.
All the while he spoke with Evangeline Jer completely ignored the woman. The screaming and demanding only faint noises in the back of his mind. He, after all, needed to make sure Evangeline understood what he said and would stay until he got back. When he finished with his commands, so to say, he stood and made his way over to the woman who continued to scream and writhe as he picked her up and apparated.
As the spinning came to a stop and Jer felt snow beneath his feet he smiled wickedly and threw the woman down to the ground. Watching as the woman obviously struggled to get away and out he let out a laugh. Jer normally wasn't this evil or cruel, but when it came to situation's like this he couldn't help himself sometimes. Thinking these thoughts he circled the woman listening to her protests and demands though ignoring them completely and spoke.
"I’ll give you your wand back soon enough." Jer announced his voice emotionless as he spoke, making him seem rather bored. "First off I'm going to teach you a small lesson. And secondly I have to advise you….the next time you think about torturing someone think wisely." And with those words Jer shot the langlock curse to shut up her screaming and yelling, then he shot a few spells of confringo around the woman making the snow beside her explode up and in to the air almost in a way to show her that could be her bo, then he finished it off by shooting sectumsempra at her. That curse in return cut the woman up in several different places and as he watched her for a few moments he grabbed her wand and threw it past her a foot or two away.
"I really hope we don't meet again." And with those words he apparated back to Hogsmeade and Evangeline all the while a part of him asking why he hadn't used crucio on the woman. Of course his answer had been that he had a conscious.
Allison Rowe - July 9, 2008 08:10 PM (GMT)
Allison wasn't listening to him, she didn't care what he had to say , she wanted to be free, she wanted her wand back, but most of all she wanted to be away from here. She cried out in pain and surprise when the spell hit her, cutting her along her face chest and arms, she hadn't been listening and it had caught her off guard. she saw the wand hit the ground, the spell had cut some of the ropes, allowing her to move, she crawled over and pucked it up, shaking a little bit, she turned around, wanting to get him back but he was gone, and she knew she needed to get back as well, she was bleeding pretty badly. Figuring she could take care of everything once she was back at her house, she apparated there
Evangeline Winters - July 10, 2008 12:53 AM (GMT)
Evangeline nodded as Jeraud whispered the plan into her ear about taking the woman to Alaska. It was a good idea, she decided, except she didn't like the whole 'wait for me in the forest' part. What had only an hour ago seemed like a safe and peaceful place to her now scared her a bit.
"Alright," she whispered, and watched him apparate away with the woman. Then she waited for him to return, wand in her hand.
Jeraud Cynster - July 10, 2008 07:43 PM (GMT)
As Jer apparted away from the bleeding woman and Alaska his last thoughts had been why he hadn’t done anything worse to the woman and of course his main answer had been he had a conscious. Sighing heavily as these thoughts hit his mind Jer ran a hand through his tousled hair as if trying to fix it as he looked up and around him. His hazel eyes trying to accustom themselves to the almost completely darkness that resided in the forest.
All while he looked around he was waiting to see Evangeline in her bright colors and when he found her a few feet away from him he put on a gentle smile, trying to forget all that had happened for the moment, so he concentrated on her and her only. As he walked over he kneeled in front of her as he mutter lumos and suddenly there was light. Flashing his light over her he saw the wand held tightly in her hand and frowned. She was scared. If not a lot then a little and he couldn’t blame her.
“It’s alright Evie, she’s long gone from here for right now.” As he spoke these words he hoped they were reassuring as he extended his hand to her. “Come on let’s get you back up to Hogwarts and along the way you can tell me everything that happened and were your hurt.”
Evangeline Winters - July 11, 2008 06:51 PM (GMT)
Evangeline sat on the forest ground, waiting for Jeraud to return from Alaska. She was a little scared now to be left alone, after what had happened, but she knew she couldn't have gone along anyway.
She heard the distinct crack of apparation and gripped her wand a little tighter, until she saw it was only Jer. Then she relaxed and gave him a small smile as he walked up to her and offered his hand.
She took it gratefully and stood up, glad the other woman was gone. She had probably apparated herself away by now, she realized.
She heard Jer ask her to tell her what had happened as they walked up to the castle, etc. she felt a bit stupid now about not having being more cautious in the Forest. She should have known something could always happen, no matter how safe something appeared. She was always trustful of people and today that had gotten her into trouble.
"It's my own stupid fault," she said as they began to walk. "I guess I wandered in too far this time, but nothing has ever happened to me in the forest before so I wasn't scared. I was flower picking," she finished, realizing how silly she sounded. "She just showed up, made some derrogatory comments about Muggle-borns, and it got me angry. We exchanged some words," she said, clearly remembering. "Then-" Then she remembered the horrible curses hitting her, one after the other, she closed her eyes and shuddered, remembering the pain, and was suprised to find herself blinking back tears.
Jeraud Cynster - July 14, 2008 07:35 PM (GMT)
As Jer watched Evangeline take his hand and stand up he let go of her hand and instead wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her into his side. A gesture of caring reassurance that everything was alright and he also did so to make sure she wouldn't fall over or anything. As they began to walk Jer held out his lit wand illuminating their path as he listened to her speak.
All while Jer listened he frowned. So Evangeline really had done nothing wrong. Which he had been sure of. Picking flowers? He smiled a little at this though it faltered as Evangeline stuttered out a ‘then’ and stopped. Looking to her Jer's hazel eyes took in her face noticing her eye's were closed and then he felt her shudder. Frowning he sighed deeply and stopped walking before taking her in his arms and hugging her.
"I'm very sorry that this happened Evie. You'll have to be more careful from now on. And maybe learn to defend yourself better, not that your bad at it. I guess what I'm trying to say is learn up on new defensive spells, if there are any...." Trailing off Jer unwrapped his arms from her and held her at arms length instead before looking into her face and speaking once again. "Everything will be fine, you'll be fine. I'm sure this had made you stronger Evie and next time it'll be you winning, so to say. Now come on let's get you to the castle. I think you need a good amount of rest before you do anything else." At those words Jer flashed her a small smile and wrapped his arm around her shoulder once again before heading off in the direction of Hogwarts.
Evangeline Winters - July 14, 2008 08:03 PM (GMT)
Evangeline leaned onto Jer, drawing strength from him. What she looked foward to more than anything was a long, hot shower, to ease the pain in her muscles left from the Cruciatus.
"I don't think I'll be going in there for a long while," muttered Evangeline sleepily."Thank you," by the way, she said warmly, "For helping me."
And they made thier way up to the castle.
