"Samantha Brooke I can't believe you lost your ferret, your bloody talking ferret, in the library." Isaac told his sister while she led him to the library. Samantha rolled her eyes, "I know Isaac. That's the fifth time you told me that." She told him, her school uniform robe flying out behind her as she walked swiftly to the library. How she wished her brother would hurry up...
Isaac walked at his own strolling pace, his own school uniform in a wrinkled state having had one of the other Hufflepuff boys wake him up saying that Sam was hunting him down, and that was never a good thing.
"Why are you still in your school uniform anyway?" Isaac asked her.
"Um. I was studying. Then I lost Sir Henry." Samantha explained, opening the doors to the library.
"You don't study Sam." Isaac told her, voice dropping to a whisper as they entered the library.
"I did today." She said, tucking her hair behind her ear. Isaac sighed at his sister, still not believing her. "Whatever." He muttered. Samantha heard a familiar voice.
"Oy dear child what is you are reading?" Came the formal british voice of the ferret, Sir Henry. Samantha ran to where she heard it and scooped up her ferret, Isaac right behind her raising his eyebrows.
"Oh I'm sorry for my ferret bothering you." Samantha told the person who the ferret had interrupted.
"I bothered no one!" The ferret said deffiantly, and Samantha rolled her eyes. Isaac took the ferret from his younger sisters hands. "Sam, I think I'd better take care of your ferret." Isaac told her.
"But-"
"Just for tonight."
"Oh." Sam bit her lip watching her brother leave the library. She knew he had wanted an excuse to leave anyway.
"I'm Samantha." She told the person that the ferret interrupted, smiling her brilliant smile and placing herself in the nearest chair, which was across from the person.

Calum was sitting on a desk, reading a book on Vampires, when a voice reached his ears. He looked up to see a talking ferret. He widenened his eyes and goggled at the ferret.
Then the ferret was picked up by a girl, then carried away by, what seems likes, her brother.
"I'm Samantha she said.
He smiled back.
"Hi, there. I'm Calum. Third year Ravenclaw." he said. "Was that a talking ferret-- or was I just hallucinating?"

"Fourth year slytherin, although I'm not particularly mean.' Samantha told him, "Oh and that was Jacob, he's my older brother and a bit anti-social." Samantha apologized, sorta, for her brothers behavior. It got rather annoying when he just didn't even try to make friends...
"Yea, that would be my pet Sir Henry. He used to not talk but it was a spell gone ary (sp?) to now he can talk. He gets really annoying... anyway, I lost him earlier but I guess you found him. So... thanks!" Samantha pressed out the wrinkles in her skirt and then glanced at his book, tilting her head. "Watcha reading?" She asked.

Calum Ferguson - July 8, 2008 02:38 AM (GMT)
"oh, that's good. I don't particularly like mean Slytherins and no problems.. about your brother I mean." he said. Calum half-laughed. "I should try that on my cat. Then maybe he'll have more of an attitude to life. He just sleeps on my bed all the time."
He shook his head.
"Or he might just moan or complain and that'll get tiring." he said. "This book? Oh, it's just a book on Vampires."

"I don't think anybody likes a mean... anybody." Samantha shrugged, "No... it doesn't change their personalities it just makes them a bit smarter. Sir Henry ended up reading a book about... Sir Henry and for some reason he acts like him now...." Samantha let the sentence hang.
"Oooh, vampires? I grew up in the muggle realm so there are alot of made up stories about them. But I mean, they had to come from somewhere right?" Samantha askedm tucking her hair behind her ear.

Calum Ferguson - July 9, 2008 02:32 PM (GMT)
He laughed.
"That must be interesting." he said. "Yeah.. I.. think.. so.. Sorry, but I grew up in a wizarding community since the fifth year of my life... So, I basically know nothing about those realms you talk about."
He shrugged.

samantha smiled, "Eh, I was adopted and it was just coincidence that Isaac was a wizard. They're all muggles, except well... Isaac and me. But I don't even know who my parents are...." Samantha shrugged, "but most of the stories the vampires are just all out to get you. It's supposed to be spooky or something..."
