Title: Dysphoria
Carly Butank - July 9, 2008 09:57 PM (GMT)
Carly and Trey strolled into the Hospital Wing. He was still grabbing onto her arm, which she was somewhat thankful for now. She probably would be on the ground if he wasn't. Although she'd rather lay in the forest alone and hurt than receive his help, she was glad she was finally there. She hoped Jer would do something about this. She could barely stay awake, her head pounding and ankle swelling. Trey had taken the last bit of energy she had.
She dizzily looked around for Jer. He wasn't anywhere in sight. Atleast what she could see. She prayed that he would show up soon. She was trying so hard to keep herself up for fear that Trey would try something if she was passed out. "Jer..?" She called out faintly. It wasn't as loud as she thought.
Trey Raynes - July 9, 2008 10:06 PM (GMT)
Trey walked in gripping her arm. "Jer I ot someone for you." He said smugly. He noticed Carly barely made a sounds when saying Jerauds ame.
Jeraud Cynster - July 9, 2008 10:15 PM (GMT)
Jer hummed quietly to himself as his eyes scanned over the Daily Prophet as he walked along the hallway and back to the Hospital Wing. Today had been extremely boring and so he finally decided to make his way to the staff room to grab a light snack. It was around dinner time and even thought he should probably be eating something rather than the bagel he'd grabbed, he couldn't help but be drawn to the Hospital wing as if something big was going to happen.
"Like hell it is," He'd muttered to himself, but nevertheless followed his instincts. Sighing quietly at his thoughts he didn't notice Carly or Trey walking into the Hospital Wing since he was preoccupied with the paper and reading up on the new group NDE, he opened the doors and looked up in surprised at the sound of Trey calling his name.
Looking up and taking in the scene his hazel eyes widened then narrowed as he saw Carly was with him and the hold Trey had on her. Dropping the paper on a bedside table he moved to stand in front of the two and that's when the real anger and worried came in. Carly was to say the least bruised up and instantly his mind put two and two together. Glancing to Trey sharply Jer folded his arms against his chest and spoke coldly.
"What happened?"
Carly Butank - July 9, 2008 10:24 PM (GMT)
Carlys head had been tilted towards the ground. She couldn't even hold that up. She heard a voice ask what happened, and she thought it was just Trey at first. What a dumb question to ask she thought to herself. After thinking about it, she realized that wasn't his voice. She slowly looked up to notice Jer standing there. She had never been so happy to see him. She wanted to smile, but couldn't.
She looked up at Trey then back to Jer. She spoke soft and weak. "I..hit, an-and he cru-" She probably wasn't making any sense. She hadn't noticed if she was or wasn't, though. Before she could even finish, her eyes rolled in the back of her head and she passed out, her body falling limp in Trey's grip.
Trey Raynes - July 9, 2008 10:40 PM (GMT)
"What she meant was. She was pulling prank in the great hall with another student, she was on her broom and crashed into the wall. She been knocked unconcious just started waking up now." Trey explained stretching the truth. "She was a little restless though, as though she had some bad dream." He shrugged.
Jeraud Cynster - July 9, 2008 11:06 PM (GMT)
As Jer waited for either of them to answer he looked to Carly and watched a flash of...happiness fly across her face? Raising an eyebrow he wondered what it was all about. Was she happy to see him? Though he didn’t get to dwell on it long as she suddenly began to speak. Leaning in closer he could barely make out what she was saying before her eyes suddenly rolled in back of her head and she went limp. Racing forward he took Carly from Trey's grasp and glared at the man as he picked her up, bridal style, and carried to her to one of the unoccupied beds.
As Jer laid her down gently he took to examining her, all the while listening to Trey's words, though not fully comprehending them as he worked. Patting himself, in search for his glasses he finally pulled them out and set them on the bridge of his nose as he conjured a flashlight with his wand and began to open each of Carly's eyes. When he was finished with this he vanished the same flashlight and took a hold of her wrist in search of her pulse. When, and only when, he'd found the steady yet weak beat did he turn to Trey.
Removing the glasses from his face he sat them down on the table beside were Carly laid and his hazel eyes, which held a deathly calm to them, landed on Trey. "Say what happened once more Raynes. And this time tell me the truth. Not the simple truth. Not the half truth, but the whole truth you evil b*stard." As he spoke these words Jer couldn't help but think that Trey had finally gotten Carly alone. The fact though that he hadn't killed the girl surprised him.
Trey Raynes - July 9, 2008 11:16 PM (GMT)
Trey smiled slyly. "What are you implying Jeraud?" Trey rolled his eyes and then spoke again. "I told you. She was up on her broom at the top of the great hall. She ccrashed into the wal and then fell to the floor. Roxane checked and saw she was unconsiious, she even slapped her to make sure. She didn't even budge. You can even ask your good friend Roxane."
Jeraud Cynster - July 9, 2008 11:54 PM (GMT)
Jer just laughed bitterly as he listened to Trey ask what he was implying. Oh many things, he thought to himself as he shook his head. "The question you should actually be asking is how many things I'm implying in that sentence of mine. After all knowing you many things of many kinds could of happened." Trailing off Jer knew this was the thought that worried him.
As Trey went on to speak about a school prank, Carly slamming into the wall, and talking to Roxane he nodded absentmindedly watching Carly, wishing he'd had something to give the girl to wake her up and find out what really happened. Then again he was glad she was out. After all if she had been alone with Trey Jer knew she needed the rest to recuperate. Trailing out of his thoughts with a deep sigh he spoke.
“I will ask her. If what you say is right, well I guess it is. Though what happened along the way here to the Hospital Wing is a different story.” Saying this Jer knew Trey would hear him and the small hint of anger that had been conjoined with his words. If he proved that Trey had done something to Carly, whatever it may be, there was not telling what would happen to the man.
Trey Raynes - July 10, 2008 12:10 AM (GMT)
"Look Jer..nothing happened. I'm not going to lie I wish I took advantage of the time and killed her." He said bluntly. "But then me and you would probably fight till the death. And I don't need that right now." He said smirking at him. "And like I said I'm pretty sure she was having some sort of night mare."
Carly Butank - July 10, 2008 12:19 AM (GMT)
Carly could hear faint voices. They sounded as though they were very far away, and she could barely make out what they were saying. As she slowly came from her unconcious state, she remembered what had just happened. She could begin to hear the voices more clearly and what they were saying. It was two males, and when she thought about it she remembered she was last with Trey and Jer. She heard them talking about the situation, which she remembered more clearly the more she came back.
She felt a sudden pain on her head. Not only was it in her head, pounding, but on top as well. She slowly opened her eyes and everything seemed blurry. She gently raised her arm and touched her head, now remembering that it was bleeding. As she did this, she glanced over and saw Trey and Jer. They looked really angry at each from what she could see. Maybe Trey actually told the truth.
She let her hand fall back to her side and that hopeful thought suddenly came crashing when she heard Trey say that nothing happened. She had barely been awake and he was already making her angry.
"Stop..lieing." She barely got it out.
Jeraud Cynster - July 10, 2008 12:31 AM (GMT)
Listening to Trey speak made Jer shake his head, he wanted so hard to not believe him but right now he couldn't be sure if the man was lying or not. Well he could, but his conscious wouldn't let him. He would have to wait to talk to Roxane and see what time they'd left the Great Hall then hear Carly’s side of the story. That's when the other night came to his mind. Carly had lied to him, but the question was would she lie again?
Frowning slightly at Carly Jer turned his hazel eyed gaze back to Trey who was still speaking. He watched the annoying smirk spread out on his face and couldn't help but shake his head. "Don't need a fight till death are you joking with me? The Trey I know would have always been up for the fight, especially if it meant killing me." Pausing for a moment Jer stared hard at Trey trying to sort things out his mind as he spoke his tone full of sarcasm. "Nightmares huh? I'm sure she was."
Trailing off at this point he suddenly heard a voice, soft and weak speak up. Turning to glance at Carly the hard look his hazel eyes died away as he kneeled beside her bed and saw the blood on her hand. Cursing out loud about missing the wounds he spoke to Carly his words soft.
"Okay before I ask you your side of the story we need to get you fixed up. Where are you bleeding?”
Carly Butank - July 10, 2008 12:44 AM (GMT)
When she spoke up, she tried to open her eyes a little wider so that she could see more clearly. As she did, she saw both men look at her. She was afraid that they hadn't heard her, but was relieved when she saw they did. Trey still looked angry, while Jer''s face softened. He walked over and knelt next to her bed, she kept her eyes on him. She couldn't let herself look at Trey right now.
He then asked about her bleeding and she had no idea where he had gotten that from. She then remembered the blood on her hand. She took a deep breath. "My head." She softly patted the top of her head, but even the slightest touch hurt her. It must've been a bad cut. "I think i did something to my ankle as well." She still spoke softly. She knew she also had some cuts spread over her body, but she wasn't really worried about those.
"Jer..you can't believe him.." She stared into his eyes with the most sincere sympathetic look in her eyes. She was afraid he wouldn't believe her because of how much she lied the last time.
Trey Raynes - July 10, 2008 01:11 AM (GMT)
Trey scoffed. "Yea you're right." He said referring to wanting to fight to the death. Back in the day he really didn't care. He would live for fighting Jeraud, to the death was better. He was a little out of it toda, but they better not get used to it. He would back and worse in no time. He looked down at Carly, digusted by her. She couldn't handle two crucio's being thrown at her? He used to have to go threw worse at her age.
He rolled his eyes thinking about how weak she was. He thought about the summers he spent training his cousin, the pain he used to send her threw. It was worse than a fall plus two crucios. Pittiful excuse for a slytherin. There she was depending on Jeraud, seeking help from some blood traitor. Trey would rather bleed to death than ever ask for his help.
" I hope you arent honestly considering believeing her. You know she did lie to you before." He pointed out. "Who's to say she can even be trusted." Trey shrugged. He hoped for her sake she didn't open her mouth. Because if Jeraud found out the truth and got him fired, there wouldn't be anything stopping him from killing her.
Jeraud Cynster - July 10, 2008 02:14 AM (GMT)
Hearing Trey scoff about being right Jer glanced at the man and raised an eyebrow as if saying 'yeah you think'. Part of Jer couldn't help but wonder if the man was coming down with something. After all this attitude of his wasn't like the Trey he knew. Also he couldn't help but wonder why he'd brought Carly here of all places and even backed down from a fight. Shaking his head he didn't dwell on those thoughts long as Carly began to speak to him, telling him where she was bleeding.
Moving to the spot in which she pointed to Jer gently as he could brushed back some of her hair to get a closer look. When he noticed she'd just got cut and it wasn't deep he felt himself begin to relax knowing that head wounds were usually the dramatic injuries. Knowing this Jer listened briefly as she spoke about her ankle and it hurting too. He muttered something along the lines of 'I'll look at it in a moment' as he pulled out his wand and pointed it to Carly's head wound.
Muttering a few different spells he watched as the wound began to heal. After it was fully closed he muttered the cleaning charm to clean all the dried blood from her before standing back and moving to her ankle. That was the exact moment trey began to speak again. Taking a deep breath Jer glanced to Trey and glared at the man. Though he was soon interrupted by Carly who was speaking. Listening to her and looking in her eyes he smiled softly, finding it once again hard to not believe her, but he couldn't let himself do anything yet so he brushed a few strands of hair out of her face before speaking his tone soft.
"Carly...just clam down and take few deep breath's for me. Everything will be fine I promise." Saying these words he turned from her his hand going to his side as he turned to Trey and simply said, "I think it's time you left Raynes." After all he didn't want Carly stressed out anymore than she already was. Though if the man would go was beyond him.
Trey Raynes - July 10, 2008 05:30 AM (GMT)
"Why should I leave?" Trey asked crossing his arms. "Maybe I don't want to Jer. I enjoy your company so much I'm choosing to stay here with you." Trey couldn't help but laugh somewhat. "Ok I almost said that with a straight face. But seriously." He began getting more serious. "I'm not leaving." He said crossing his arms. The minute he left Carly would open her mouth, not happening.
"It's not like you can make me leave Jer. This isn't your house." Trey glared at him. He didn't want to leave them alone not even for a second.
Carly Butank - July 10, 2008 06:35 PM (GMT)
When Jer softly began to fix her wounds, she started to feel a little more energetic. Not much, but it was something. She could definitely keep everything that was going on around her in order now. He cleaned the blood from her and was about to go for her ankel when Trey spoke up. He told him just what she figured he would, how she was lieing. She was almost sure that Jer would believe him because of what happened the other night. She glared at him, wanting so bad to just get up and hurt him. She couldn't for many reasons, though.
She was much relieved when Jer's eyes looked at her softly and he smiled. Maybe he would believe her. She could only hope now. As he told her to take a few deep breaths, she nodded and did so softly. She then watched him turn to Trey and she stared at the two men in interest. He thankfully told him to leave. Now she could tell him the truth without Trey in the background calling it all a complete lie. She smiled a bit. That smile quickly faded when Trey said that he wouldn't. She should've seen this coming. She really despised him.
"You have absolutely no reason to be here. You've caused enough trouble. I'd rather not have the man that brought this all onto me here." She softly glared at him.
Jeraud Cynster - July 10, 2008 09:56 PM (GMT)
Hearing Trey's annoying tones completely ignore the idea about leaving Jer felt himself take a deep breath. Trey was sort of right in the last bit he said. This wasn't his castle or house as he put it, oh no, but he worked and pretty much lived in this Hospital Wing and personally Jer believed that gave him a right to tell the man to leave. That and for Carly's health.
Jer closed his hazel eyes briefly before opening them again and listening to Carly speak. So she was claiming he had done something to her? Shaking his head not wanting to dwell on that for too long because it just fueled his anger Jer nodded in agreement with Carly's words that he had no reason to be there.
"You know she is right, you have no reason to be here Raynes. You've done your....job so it's time that you left." Pausing for a moment Jer kept his eyes on Carly's ankle, which he was examining with gentle ease as he spoke. "Now."
Trey Raynes - July 10, 2008 10:05 PM (GMT)
Trey glared at both Carly and Jeraud. "No." He simply said smirking. "So she could tell you her pack of lies? Look she's already insinuating I had something to do with this. Noone told you to try and cast a spell at me while you were on a broom. You weren't looking where you were going and crashed. That isn't my fault." He sneered at her. He took ina deep breath. He shold have just killed her out there while he had her. Next time, he wont give it a second chance. Next time he will kill her. "Merlin only knows what went on in her head when she was passed out." He scoffed.
Trey rolled his ee bfore glaring solely at Jeraud. "So No, Jer. I will not leave." He sai through gritted teeth, fighting off his anger.
Jeraud Cynster - July 10, 2008 10:29 PM (GMT)
As Jer continued to examine Carly's ankle he noticed it was broken/fractured/sprained (Don't know which one you prefer). Frowning slightly he spoke to her ignoring Trey for a moment. "Before I fix your ankle I need to get some ointment which will numb your ankle as I cast a spell and the bones repair themselves, alright?" Before he heard an answer he turned to look at Trey who was speaking again. Didn't he get the clue he wasn't wanted? Guess not, Jer thought angrily as he listened to the man's words.
Fiddling with his wand as Jer watched Trey the thing that really set him off and fueled his anger to the tee was the man defying him again. Telling Jer he wouldn't leave once again. Sighing loudly he looked to his wand and began speaking. "I asked you nicely twice Raynes and each time you refused to do so....so this time I'm not going to ask nicely...." Trailing off as he said this Jer quickly pointed his wand at Trey and exclaimed stupefy hoping to knock the man out and possibly out the Hospital wing doors. Though if this didn’t work Jer began to make his way closer to Trey ready to physically remove him from the Hospital Wing.
Carly Butank - July 11, 2008 01:00 AM (GMT)
Carly layed there in silence while the two men argued over Trey leaving. She was obviously on his side, but it wasn't like she could do much about it. She had so many things she could say to Trey right now, but knew that no matter what she through out there..he would completely deny it. She needed him to leave. Jer had to know the truth. It wasn't looking too good though.
Trey continued to speak as Jer finally made his way to Carly's ankel. He stated that it was fractured. She threw her head back and sighed in anger. She never really got hurt and this just sucked. He told her that she needed to get ointment. She closed her eyes and nodded, then stared up at the ceiling. She then slowly looked back at the men as Jer's tone changed and he said he was done being nice about it. Her eyes widened a bit when he raised his wand. She was afraid he'd try something stupid.
She didn't doubt that he could take on Trey, but knew that Trey would just do anything to kill him. If he did that, she'd have no one and then she'd probably die too. She relaxed a bit when he threw stupefy at him and moved forward. She couldn't think of anything to say.
Trey Raynes - July 11, 2008 01:13 AM (GMT)
Trey was set flying back by the stupefy but quickly got up reaching for his wand. He angril stared at Jeraud. "Did you just send a stupefy at me?" Trey walked closer to him. "Jeraud, did yu honestly just stupefy me." Trey wasn't sure if he was in shock, but he felt a smirk creep across his face. He hld his wand stady in his hand as his hand rose. "Flipendo" he said as his wand was pointed at Jeraud. "You should know not to send a spell at me?"
Jeraud Cynster - July 11, 2008 01:34 AM (GMT)
Jer watched as Trey went flying backwards and smirked ready to through him out of the Hospital Wing when he suddenly stood and started exclaiming the question of ‘did you really just stupefy me?’. Almost instantly Jer replied with a sarcastic remark. “Of course I did you prat. Was it really not that obvious?” His smirk widened as he said this still moving closer to Trey but stopping abruptly as he watched the man raise his wand toward him and cast a spell.
“Protego!” Jer had been ready for the attack, obviously watching the man’s actions carefully. He watched as his spell bounced off the magical barrier he created. When he believed it to be safe he pointed his wand at Trey and announced, “Everte Statum.” With this spell he was hoping to send his opponent, Trey, flying out the Hospital Wing doors. If not he was ready for him again.
OOC: Eeep short I know. Sorry!
Carly Butank - July 11, 2008 01:45 AM (GMT)
Carly was happy to see Trey fly backwards, but it apparently wasn't enough for him as he stood up and went towards Jer. Her eyes widened again. She was scared for Jer and hated knowing that she couldn't do a thing about it. She just had to sit there and watch. She wished Jer fixed her ankle before he started this. Trey said something and Jer came back with a sly remark. She's never heard him like this before, it was different. Trey did exactly what she expected next, threw a curse at him. Jer was thankfully ready for this as he blocked it. She stared in awe at the two men fighting.
She kind of wished they would just stop. She let her thoughts escape from her lips. "Jer..please stop." She said this calm, but somewhat stern. Jer obviously didn't listen to her. As much as she wanted Trey to leave, she didn't want this to end the way she thought it was going to. She'd rather put up with him for now. Her thoughts were soon interrupted by Jer exclaiming another spell. She watched as the spell fly towards Trey. Everything seemed to be in slow motion. She knew that if this didn't work now, things were certainly going to get ugly. She would force herself up then to help out Jer.
Trey Raynes - July 11, 2008 02:16 AM (GMT)
Trey was sent flying again but quickly got up. There was no way he was going to let Jeraud win this. In Trey's head this was another thing to compare the two of them. If Trey left then Jer won it was as simple as that. He was smirking as he walked back towards. "Just like the old days huh?" He mumbled. "Reducto!" He shouted as he was walking raising his wand with each step.
He loved it. He felt muh better now. He had a little bit of an off day and now everything felt so much better. He felt 8 years younger casting spells at Jeraud again. He was still smirking as he lowered his wand. "You can not force me to leave. I will leave when I want to Jer." He said standing straight, as his arrogant self normally did.
Carly Butank - July 11, 2008 02:43 AM (GMT)
Carly was truely getting worried now. Trey was up again and making his way towards Jer. He never stopped, neither of them did. She knew that Jer knew where it would need to stop though, Trey didn't. She heard him mention the old days. She really wanted to know exactly what happened. She let those thoughts leave her mind when she saw Trey raise his wand again. She forced herself to quickly sit up in her bed, grabbing her wand from her pocket.
She pointed it at him, exclaiming 'expelliarmus'. She knew she was angry, but it obviously effected her and the spell considering it actually knocked Trey backwards. Her eyes widened for a second. She probably shouldn't have done that. She slowly put her wand in her pocket and looked away, as if trying to act like she didn't do it.
Trey Raynes - July 11, 2008 02:48 AM (GMT)
Trey felt himself flying backwards again. But Jeraud hadn't moved. But who could have? CARLY! He found himself screaming her name in his head. "You are a complete and utter idiot." He was back on his feet in no time. The only reason he was knocked back bcause he was caught by surprise. "Stay in that bed and stay out of this. Jeraud and I have done this plenty of times. He doesn't need any of your help ." He said glaring at her.
Which was the truth. Jeraud had beaten him many of times, as had Trey beaten Jer. They never had anyones help. It was always one on one, and it would stay that way. "Come on Jer, I know you want me to leave. But just how badly do you ant me to leave?" Trey asked tempting him. He wanted to duel Jer. He knew Jeraud must have wanted to do the same. They have been total different people, but they shared this. They loved beating one another in a duel. They feeling they got from it when the other fell and didn't get back up, was indescribable.
Jeraud Cynster - July 15, 2008 03:15 AM (GMT)
Jer watched as Trey was knocked off his feet with the spell he just cast. A satisfied smile adorned his features, though of course as Trey made his way up it faltered, though only a little. Hearing Trey’s question of ‘just like the old days huh’ the smile on his face widened and he nodded slowly watching the man approach. “It definitely is Trey. Feel’s great doesn’t it?” Announcing this it was the same time Carly spoke up telling him to stop. Glancing at her he suddenly heard the exclamation of a spell from Trey. He barley moved in time and the injuries from his late reactions included a gash along his forearm along with his side. Cursing aloud he looked to Trey while he spoke to Carly.
“Carly please don’t speak or do anything of the sort again! It’s very distracting!” His words held a little harshness, but Jer couldn’t help it. He was now bleeding and in pain. Though he was happy because if he hadn’t moved at all Jer assumed he more than likely wouldn’t still be standing. Knowing this he let out a sigh of relief before watching Trey lower his wand and speak. So he thinks he will win this one does he? Smirking at this thoughts Jer shook his head sadly.
“I would really think before you speak Raynes. You and me both know you’ll be gone from this hospital wing before you can say-” Stopping abruptly Jer watched as Trey flew back again, though not by his hands. Looking behind him he looked to Carly who was now sitting their looking quite innocent. Shaking his head he turned back to Trey, lucky Carly had done what she did, no matter how stupid it was. It after all let him think and react. Listening to Trey exchange words with Carly Jer walked closer to the man, ignoring the pain in his arm and the blood that continued to drip from his wounds.
As Trey began to speak to him, tempting him Jer stopped moving and just smiled before he raised his wand to Trey and shot off a few spells. “Diffindo! Expelliarmus!” Then pausing for a moment he grinned before announcing, “Petrificus Totalus!” Casting a couple spells at a time was giving Jer hope that maybe one of them would catch him off guard. If not though he would have to try harder.
Trey Raynes - July 15, 2008 03:29 AM (GMT)
Trey flicked his wand deflecting his first spell that was directed directly at him. He smiked widely as he sent a spell at him before his expelliarmus hit. "Incendio" he said pointing his wand at Jeraud. He found himself randomly thinking about Gwen. He shook his head but still the thought of her was there. What would she thik of this? He doubted that she would actually be ok with this. He didn't need her hating him, he wouldn't be able to live with himself. For some odd reason he had some sort of feelinggs for her.
Only a Moment later he felt his wand slip from his hand sliding across the floor. He was jogged awake from his thoughts. What was he doing thinking when there was a duel going on? Just as he was abot to make a quick dash for it he felt his whole body bind. He began falling to the floor unable to move. He couldn't believe h was begining to think of Gwen, distracting him from his duel. She was getting to him, she was inside his head even when she wasn't around. If they only knew what he was thinking.
"Dam you Jeraud." He was dying to scream it out loud at the top of his lungs but he couldnt. He could feel hurt on his side. Probably from being kocked back twice and now the fall. He just hoped he wasn't bleeding. Considering he sucked at medicinal magic, he would need help. He wasn't asking Jer for it that was sure, so He would have to ask Gwen. He really didn't want to explain to her about this duel. There wasn't really a point.
"Just let me go, I'll leave." He mumbled through gritted teeth. He just wanted to get out. He needed to get home and just think about what was happening to him. About how he seemed to be more than just attracted to Gwen. He needed to be alone.
Jeraud Cynster - July 15, 2008 04:03 AM (GMT)
As Jer watched Trey deflect his first spell of diffindo he wasn't ready for the small attack Trey cast at him so he cursed aloud as he was suddenly on fire. Pulling his wand out he exclaimed 'aguamenti' and sighed in relief as the flames died away. Though he couldn't help but think sarcastically about how great of a day it was. Now he wasn't just cut up, but burned though not so bad, but still.
Coming out of his thoughts Jer looked to find Trey on the floor in a body bind. Smiling wildly Jer walked over wincing in pain with each step glad his repeated attack worked. When he came closer to Trey it was to see the b*stard trying to mutter something. Jer couldn't help but snicker knowing Trey couldn't say a thing. He felt like announcing 'gotcha', but for some reason he knew it wouldn't sound right coming from his mouth so instead he looked down at Trey still smiling wildly.
"I won." And with that he pointed his wand at Trey and with as much anger as he could exclaimed everte statum knowing this time Trey would be knocked back and out of the hospital wing doors and into the hallway some place. Once the man was gone and out he opened the double doors and threw the man his wand.
"Someone will surely come out and undue the spell, I'm sure Raynes. Have fun." At those words he turned around and headed back in to the hospital wing letting the doors close behind him. Moving farther in to the room Jer made his way to the potion cabinet, hoping to find some relief before he worked on his own wounds. That’s when he remembered Carly. Sighing he pivoted and made his way over to her instead.
“Okay Carly….next time we’re dueling don’t interfere. It’s for your own good.” Announcing this Jer finally stopped beside the bed where she laid and took a deep breathe before smiling a little. “Though I have to admit….your spell did help me think of my next moves. So….thank you, but don’t ever do it again.”
Trey Raynes - July 15, 2008 04:18 AM (GMT)
Trey felt his body ricochet againt the the walls outside of the room. He cringed at the pain. That b*****d had won. He defeated him. He only hoped that Jer was atleast wounded somehow. He hoped someone would come along and take the spell off of him. That last hit to the wall really hurt. He was hoping that side that was in so much pain wasn't bleeding.
Carly Butank - July 15, 2008 05:26 AM (GMT)
Carly continued to sit up and watch the events taking place in front of her. She was in awe. She wanted to help Jer, but he didn't want her to. She figured it was just for the best. When Jer finally knocked Trey out of the Hospital Wing, Carly couldn't help but sigh in relief. She did have her doubts, but Jer had won. She was very happy. Not she could get what she wanted to out.
Jer came back over to her bed, and Carly laid back down. She smiled and looked at the doors where Trey had just been knocked out of. Jer's next words made her smile slowly fade and she looked back at him. "You act like i can't handle myself." She was a bit offended now. "I'm still alive, aren't i? After what he's just done to me. You don't even know what happened.." She looked away.
