Belien got the chills just being here. Her pale green eyes bounced from one tree to the next. Why in the world did she think this place was a good place to come after dark? Her hands grasped her wand tightly. Her hand waved in front of her, a small bit of light coming from the end of it. Which way had she come from?

Slowly Belien had crept through the trees, her progress often completely stopped by noises she thought she heard. She had only wanted to clear her mind, not get lost and possibly stuck in this stupid place. She pulled through some low brush her robe had gotten stuck on.

She smiled when she could finally see the lights from the castle. She wasn’t necessarily out of the forest, but she could at least see the school lights. The tight-feeling in her chest that had constricted her breathing had released and she took in a few deep breaths. She leaned her back against a tree, and let herself relax a little.

Katherine had been following Belien sneak out into the forest and all the time she was walking out of it. Kath had been waiting for the right time to strike. She walked quietly, slightly brushing a tree or stepping on a twig along the way, but she didn't care. If Belien even turns to see who it was, Kath would strike.
She patiently waited for Belien to stop walking. But it was only when they were close to Hogwarts did she stop and lean by an old tree.

Not the best place to stop, but I'll go with you, Belien.. Kath thought.

She took out her wand.
"Crucio!" she said, pointing her wand at Belien.

Wide eyed and confused with terror Belien had just enough time to turn her eyes on the person but not enough time to react. She didn't even have enough time to recognize the person because there were so many shadows around. She would scream, but when she tried it caught in her throat and came out as a choked whimper. Her body hit the ground with a heavy thud and her joints locked, and unlocked with every pulse of pain. She couldn't think, couldn't scream, couldn't hardly breath.
