Davina decided to wander around the castle for a little while. She really needed to find other things to do when she couldn't sleep, on of these days she was going to get in trouble. She found herself in the dank and dirty dungeons.

"Ugh this is kinda gross." she said to herself as she looked around. She dug into her pocket to look for her glasses. She had forgotten to put them back on her face when she ot back up from bed. She searched in her pocket. Nope. Maybe they were in her left pocket, no such luck.

"Great now I'm bli-." She was interupted when she tripped over someones leg falling face forward.

John, who had once again neglected his homework until he should be in bed, had somehow found his way to the dungeons and had been finishing his homework until he had fallen asleep. He was woken up suddenly when something hit his legs, he hadn't realized he had fallen asleep. "Oh shi-" he stopped when he saw the girl that had fallen on him. "Sorry." he said offering a hand to help her up.

Davina cringed. She had ran into a couple slytherin's today and knew this is where a lot of them were sometimes. She thought she had tripped over one of them. "Oh no I'm so sorry." she sped out of her mouth. She looked up a little surprise when she heard the sorry come out of the person's mouth. She looked up.

"Did you apologize to me?" she asked seeming shocked. She looked closely at him. "Ah well I'm sorry too." she smiled realizing she had already apologized. She realized she was on top of him and blushed slightly picking herself off of him. "I'm Davina." she said introducing herself.

"Yeah, I was the one sleeping down here, I should have gone back to the dormitories. " He said, wondering just how long he had been out. "I'm John." He said with a smile and held out a hand for her to shake. "Oh are you okay?" he asked, hoping she hadn't hurt herself when she fell.

"Oh yea I'm perfectly fine." Davoina said. She hadn't really noticd her scraped knee, but she was used to it by now. "I'm extremely clumy, I'm normally tripping everywhere. If your feet werent there I would have tripped oer my own.." She said chuckling at herself.

"So... what brings you down to the dungeons?" he asked her, trying to make conversation and doubting her reason was as lame and slightly odd as I needed to get homework done with out disturbing anyone and fell asleep like his was.

"Oh I couldn't sleep." she said simply. "You know this is like the fourth night this week I couldn't fall asleep." she added thinking back. "I actually thought you were one of those mean slytherin people ready to curse me to oblivion. I met a lot of those in this school." She said sighing slightly. "What are you doing down here?"

He nodded, he had met a few of those too. " I was finishing my homework, I always leave it until I should be sleeping, but I guess this time I fell asleep. you don't happen to know what time it is do you?" he asked her

"It's just about midnight actually." Davina said with a tiny chuckle. "How long have you been asleep down here?" She asked. It wasn't the best place to fall asleep now.

“It’s midnight already? It was barely nine when I came down here, so I guess I’ve been out for few hours, I had no idea that it was that late." He said feeling very embarrassed at knowing how long he had been out, it wouldn’t have been that bad if he had just been nodding off. “Well thanks for waking me, I don’t know if I would have if you hadn’t come by.”

"Ah see what would you have done without my lovely trip of falling on top of you." she said laughing.

"Yes, thank you very much for that." he said with a smile. "So Davina, what house are you in? " he asked her. "I'm going to guess you're not in Slytherin. I'm in Hufflepuff, I'm kinda sad it's my last year here. " he said, he would truely miss it once he graduated, the end of the year was a while away but he didn't want it to come.

"I'm in gryffindor." She said with a wide smile. "Oh it's your last year? My last year will be next year." Davina said thinking for a minute. "Hmm hufflepuff? You must be an awfully nice person." She added with her never fading smile. Most of the hufflepuffs she met were absolutely the nicest people.

"yeah, I'm really not ready for it, I like being a kid too much." He hadn't ever been a kid, his past had made sure of that, but in school he didn't feel like he had to be an adult yet, he wasn't all by himself. "Thanks, I really try my hardest to be nice to everyone."

"Well goo I'm going to get along with you then." She smiled. She was always too nice to people. Getting taken advantage of all the time and stepped all over. She shook her head of those thoughts right away.

"Do you have any idea whjat your going to do after you leave here?" She asked him. She didn't know what she would once she left but thankfully she had another year.

he shook his head, it was one of his biggest concerns, he didn't have a place to go home to, and he had no idea of what he wanted to do or how to get money as soon as he left school. "I have no idea, i'm not that great at anything so I have no clue, but I really need to get on top of that don't I?"

Davina nodded. "You should. But if it's any consideration I'm mostlikely will be in the situation you are in." She said laughing. "So you're not alone." She thought for a moment.. "There can't honestly be nothikng in particular that you are good at. I mean it doesn't ven need to be magical," She said looing up at him.

He shrugged, he had looks, charm and the personality that often described a dream man but when he came to brains, he wasn't the most gifted. "Really, I'm nice to people and that's about it, really. And it sucks, because I know I'm gonna need the money when I leave." He stopped himself from going on, she didn't need to hear about his problems. "What kind of things are you good at?"

Davina laughed. "Oh you must be good at something. I don't believe you." She said shaking her head in disbeliefe. "Well I don't know what I'm good at per se, but I'm thinking of maybe becoming a medi witch. I'm not too certain yert. It's all up in the air." Davina said throwing her hands in the air. "No come on out with it, there must one thing you are good at."

"That would be cook, I thought about that, but i'm not the best when it comes to healing, and I don't do that well with blood." He said, it was one thing he had been told he had a personality for, but when he thought about it, it had quickly become a no. "I don't know, maybe I'll just fall back in the muggle world."

Davina smiled. "Well maybe you could be some sort of Medi wizard psychiatrist." she said jokingly. "Well there are a lot of muggle things to do out there." she said on a more serious note.

"A psychiatrist wouldn't be that bad." He said, he liked helping and talking to people, and given his life history, he could relate to a lot of things. "I'm muggle born so it wouldn't be that hard to go back. What about you? Pureblood, muggle born, what?" he asked her.

"Oh same muggle born." She said cheerfully. "You're the first muggleborn I've met." she said. "Us muggle borns must stick together." she joked. she was rather silly at times.

"Well you should look into being a psychiatrist then." She said lookingat him. "I would go to you to tell you my problems." She said semi jokingly. She was surprised she wasn't flirting with him. Normally she flirted with guys, after all he was attractive. But she really liked him, he would make a wonderful friend. Davina decided now to make sure she didn't flirt with him.
