AJ had left Hogwarts for the summer holiday and was excited to be back. The castle looked the same as always, he was glad that his seventh year would be starting and he would be able to relax.

Classes had started and he was happy to see old friends, and had frequently bumped into them in the halls.

He had starte dto enjoy his weekends again, exploring the Forbidden Forest, walking along the Lake, flying on the Pitch; flying everywhere else as an Eagle.

AJ looked around, noticing all of the students enjoying themselves. He sat down in the middle of a grassy patch, no trees near him. The weather was nice. He laid back, folding his arms as pillows.

Hi eyes just shut when he heard a friendly 'hello'.

John had been wandering around the grounds, for no reason other than he was bored out of his mind. He had looked around for someone he knew, and smiled when he saw Aj laying on the grass, he and Casey had just been wondering where he had gone too. "Hey1" he said sitting in the grass next to him.

He looked up at John as he sat down next to him. Last time they talked AJ had confessed that he had a crush on Casey, whom, though he wasn't sure, was now with John.

"How is everything?" AJ sat up, "NIce holiday?"

"It wasn't that great." he said with a shrug, his grandparents had been killed and he now had the task of looking for a place to stay when he wasn't at school. "So, how was yours?" He asked, hoping that the tournament hadn't been too hard for him this far. "Do anything fun?" he asked, he and Casey had been wondering if he had been up to something.

John was a good friend. Surprisingly one of his closest. AJ hadn't talked to many people since the start of the tournament, but John was there to make sure he was okay.

"Up to something...well you know. Hunting Dark Wizards, trying to make the world a better place." He joked, but was obviously serious. He wanted to see how John would react.

"Haha, other than that, I have moved to London, Granparents old house. A nice little rowhouse in Kennington." He smiled, actually telling the truth for once. "How about you?"

"Really?" he asked, only a little surprised by the fact that he was hunting dark wizards, this was Aj after all. "Well good for you, but be careful." He didn't want his friend to get hurt, and he had been to enough funerals to last a life time. "I've been looking for a place to live, my home town was raided and my grandparents died, so it's been a little interesting lately. But on a lighter note, Casey and I are...kinda really together now." he said wondering how Aj would react, he had told her he had a crush on her and he felt a little guilty for it.

AJ had figured this much about Casey and him. But waved it off. "No big deal. I've changed, so it worked for the better."

AJ needed friends and allies. Perhaps John could be one of them. "Perhaps you can stay with me. I have a cozy four bedroom. With an attic I use for my...office. And a basement waiting to be used for anything. I want roomates. But I rarely trust anyone."

He didn't want to seem too forward. "Of course, it would be when you turn off age. When do you turn 17?"

"I turn 18 in september." he said"But I really wouldn't want to intrude, I've found a few apartments I can afford, I just need a job to keep it that way. " he said, he really didn't want to be a burden to anyone, and didn't want charity. He nodded when he said he didn't really trust anyone, he knew how that was, and didn't blame him. "So you'd trust me?" he asked.

"I've trusted you in the past." he said eyeing his friend. "It wouldn't be intruding. I don't pay anything. My house has been paid off for by my grandparets. It's been in the family for ages. It's in the muggle world. So you'd have to be careful."

He wanted to see if living among muggles would be okay. If John were to live with him, he'd need to join the hunt for Death Eaters. Well...he wouldnt need to...but it would help.

"There's just a few things you would need to know about me. Complicated things."
