Noah sat in his wheelchair under a giant oak on the ground, resting in the shade, wearing his favorite pair of jeans and a white tee shirt under an unbottoned white dress shirt, his mind lost in thought. He was thinking of what he could do with himself, he was sick of moping around at his house, living the life of an invalid. He wanted to become more active in his research, teach something, study something, anything but sitting around all day.
There was a drawback, however, his wheelchair often got in the way, making certain jobs impossible, and there weren't any teaching positions open at the shcool right now...
He was wondering if he should open up some kind of business, when someone walked passed him, almost tripping on his outstretched legs.
"Sorry about that," he said with a grin, "My name's Noah by the way."
(oh the joys of a wheelchair XP)
Gwen had just finished her shift up at the hospital wing and was making her way to Hogsmeade when she suddenly found herself after tripping over something, but caught herself before she could fall over. She turned around to see what she had tripped on and saw a man. "Oh, don't be. I should have been watching where I was going better. I'm Gwen." she said with a smile.
"Yes, you should," he replied slowly, sitting up in his chair. "Unless you want to end up next to me with a broken leg or something of the sort." He said it in a stern tone, but his eyes revealed he was only joking.
"So Gwen who doesn't watch where she goes," he asked. "Because you're on the grounds, I'm assuming you work at Hogwarts?" he hoped he was right, after all he was on the grounds and he didn't work at the school.
"Well I'm a medi witch, so I don't think it would be too big of a problem. And yeah, I work at the school, but my shift is over, so I was going to go home, but then I tripped and started talking to you...I don't think I have met you before. Do you work here?" she asked him, she hadn't met every one who worked here yet, and was curious.
