Davina decided to do a little flying to take her mind off of things. She liked flying it always calmed her down when she was upset. She walked on to the pitch and mounted on her broom. She hoovered up and begal to just fly around doing nothing special in particular. It felt great being up there in the air with any worries. She closed her eyes and just glided.

When she opened her ees she saw she was headed straight towards a tree. "Sh*t" She ssreamed and let go like a smart prson. All of a sudden she felt herself falling from the sky her broom falling right beside her. She grabbed her broom and tried to fly again. She got on a few feet before sshe mt the ground but she couldn't steer hrself that good. She would up crazhing anyway, but atleast she didn't break anything.

She groggily just decided to stay lying on the floor. "Ugh..again I fall." she said sighing and rubbing her aarm.

Sid was walking on the grounds and decided to take his broom and go down to the pitch for awhile. He walked onto the pitch and the first thing he sees is a beautiful girl laying on the ground. He ran up to her and spoke. "Hey are ou ok?! What happened?" Sid said placing a hand on her shoulder.

Davina looked up and noticed a boy runnin up to her. Oh darn please don't be mean. She didn't need to meet any more people who were going to hex her. But that idea was quickly scratched when he seemed worried about her. She smiled widely.

"Oh, I'm fine actually. I sort of fell from my broom." She admitted a little embarrassed.

Sid fell down on the grass beside her, on purpose. He put his hand to his forehead. "Oh man I thought you were really hurt!" He said laughing. "I was just coming out to the pitch to practice flying a bit. What are you doing out here besides getting hurt?" Sid asked.

Davina laughed somewhat and eyed him. She thought he was pretty cute. She smiled at her thoughts and looked over at him. "Well I had a lot on my mind and flying always seemed to calm me down." She shrugged a little. "Also I just love flying, and crashing apparently." She said with a laugh giggle.

"I love to fly too." Sid said smiling at her. "Once of my favorite hobbies." Sid was standing and decided to mount hsi broom. "Lemme show you how I was taught." He said flashing a sexy smile. He took off quickly on his broom, whizzing around everywhere. He did a lot of dangerous turns and twists and finally landed. "Its in my familys blood to fly. Almost all of the men were beaters." Sid said feeling proud.

Davina smiled at him when he talked. She watched as his took off doing some rather dangerous flips. "Wow is I atmepted to do anything like that I would fall flat on my face." She said joking about herself. "Are you a beater too?" she asked."oh and by the way I'm Davina." She said smiling at him.

"Nice to meet you Davina. Thats a lovely name by the way." Sid said smiling at her. He smiled a giggled a bti when Davina said she would fall on her face if she tried thosem oves. "Aww it all comes with practice my dear.' He said smiling. "Of course Im a beater. I love it. Its in my blood." He said. "What do you like to do for fun?"

Davina laughed a little. He was pretty funny, and a different kind of person than the few that she has met. "Thank you." She sad blushing a little bit, but it quickly faded. "Oh well besides flying and falling, I normally just like walking around the grounds." She shrugged. "Meeting fun people like yourself."

Sid smiled. "Want to walk aruond the grounds with me?" He asked blushing a bit. "I havent met a Gryffindor who has been so nice to me." They began to walk around the grounds and Sid was lost for words. He was feeling a bit akward now, but then he decided to talk. "So where is your family from?"

Davina smiled widely at him. "Sure." She said nodding. He was seemed really nice to her. But she was sure he must have been this way with all the girls he met. She stood up from the grass she was sitting on and began to walk around with him. "Well there's a first time for everything. Besides I'm nice to everyone." She shrugged. It was the truth she was always nice to people no matter what so of course she would be nice to someone who was being kind to her.

"Oh we're from London." She said. "What about you?" She asked curously. She then realized maybe she should mention she wasn't pure blood. "I'm muggle born by the way. Alot of people I met had a problem with that, so I figured I should say that." She said hoping it didn't really matter to him.

"Im nice to everyone I meet too. Its kind of my fall back. Im too trustworthy." He said as they kept walking. he looked at her and stopped when she said London. "I was born and raised in London! Thats so weird!" He said shocked. He also heard her say she was a muggle born. He hated that most people think that if youre a Slytherin, you hate muggle borns and the like. "Well Sid didnt, but he had been rasied to do so by his family, he still thnks its wrong. "No no its not a problem. I am a pureblood and my parents were death eaters and rasied me to hate muggle borns. but I just cant hate them. They are people just like us." He said smiling.

"Wow me too." She said about being too trustworthy. "I normally get walked all over on because I'm too nice." She admitted. She always had that problem with people taking advantage of her over forgiving and trusting personality. She smiled when he said he was born and raised in London too. They had a lot in common, Sid might turn out to be a very good friend.

"Oh good, I met a couple slytherin's that were raised like tha toot but, seem to follow it also." She frowned slightly. She instantly thought of Blane again. There was no excuse then. Here Sid is in the same situation and he was perfectly fine with her being muggleborn. She sighed a little too loudly though. "I'm glad you feel that way." She just wished other people did.

"Wow me too! I get walked all over because Im too nice." He said smiling. "We have a lot in common." They kept walking and all Sid could think about was Carly. He didnt know why. He wanted to talk to Davina and be her friend. "Oh yeah, most Slytherins arent like me. Im different." He said smiling. He then stopped and grabbed her shoulders. "Dont worry about what other people think of you. Being muggle born doesnt make you any different from me." They began to walk again. "Youre definitly prettier than most of the pure bloods I see anyways." He said under his breath, but figured she heard him.

Davina smiled. She was a little taken back when he grabbed her shoulders. "Wow, thanks. That means a lot to me." She said smiling. She wished Blane felt like that. It would change a lot of things between them. She knocked out of her thoughts by something Sid said under his breath.

"Oh, um thank you." She said. She wasn't used to comments like that from people. "Youre extremely nice. I can see us becoming friends.." She said smiling at him. They had a lot in common they could easily hang out and be friends.

Sid could see the shock in her eyes when he grabbed her shoulders. He smiled to himself after hearing her say they could become great friends. "Id like that, a lot." He said still smiling. His hand accidentally brushed hers and he blushed, not knowing how she would react.

Davina blushed slightly when she felt his hand brush hers, but she let out a small chuckle. She wasn't used to guys being so nice to her, especially people who came from families like his. "Well good, because I would be very upset if you didn't want to be my friend." She said putting on a fake frown but laughing after.

Sid watched her blush as well, btu felt so relived afetr she laughed. He liked her. She was a good person at heart and thats just what Sid needed. "So..." He said acting a bit goofy. "I have no idea what to talk about." He laughed aloud, knowing he was being completely not interesting.

Davina laughed again. He was really amusing. She liked walking around with him even though they weren't talking about anything in particular. "Well why don't you tell me more about yourself?" She suggested. She didn't know much about him. "You know besides you being overly nice like me." She joked.

Sid didnt know what to say. He had a pretty boring life, except for the death eater parents. But he was sure she didnt want to hear about that.

"Well, Im not that interesting. I bet you are more interesting. I am an only child, my parents are death eaters, I didnt get to go out and play much when I wasa child. Now when I was a teen, I was walking around London from sunrise to sunset, just to stay away from my awful family. I hated the things they did. Not to mention the things I saw them do." Sid said, hating to finish on a bad note. "Well thats pretty much my life story." He said smiling.

Davina frowned a little when he esplained how his family life was. She couldn't imagine living like that. Not likeing what your family was about, and pretty much not liking your family. "Wow, Sid I'm sorry." She said feeling the need to say that to him. "I'm in shock you turned out the way you did." She said happy that he did of course. She thought of Blane for a brief second and got a little upset with him. He must truly enjoy being like that and living like that, because Sid was raised in pretty much the same situation and he wasnt like that and he was incredibly nice to her.

"Well my family isn't like that.." She mumbled. She didn't want to say how her family was and have it come off as though she was braging or something along those lines. "I'm pretty uninteresting too." She said jokingly changing the tone of her voice. She smiled widely at him again. "Another thing we hav in common." She joked again. "I'm normally just hanging out or wandering around like this." She shrugged. 'Or getting hexed in detention.' she thought rolling her eyes somewhat.

"Well what about girls? I'm sure theya all drool over you." She joked and laughed slightly at him. But she was sure of it, he was a really nice guy and very attractive he probably could get a lot of girls if he wanted.

Sid smiled at her. "Thakns. Not alot of people understand what I went through. Its nice to hear someone be sympathetic" Sid said walking a bit closer to her now. "Now I bet your not as uninteresting as you say you are." He said smiling and nudging her a bit. Sid then decided to take a breather and sit on a log he found. He motioned for Davina to come over. "Want to sit for a moment and enjoy the scenery?" He asked.

Davina smiled and sat next to him. "Well it sounds like you've been through a lot." She said shooting him a soft smile. "Oh believe me I really am uninteresting." She joked. She wasn't if anything she did qualified as interesting. With the exception of her recent detention nothing interesting had happened to her this school year.

"Do you get along with all the other slytherins?" She asked. Some of them probably wouldnt like that he associated himself with people like her.

"Yeah I get along with most. There are a few mudbloods haters. People dont understand that the majority of Slytherins arent death eater wannabes." Sid said smiling.

Davina cringed at that word. She really hated it, but she knew Sid wasn't calling her one it was just the word it self was horrible. She tried not to let it show that it upset her. "Yea, it's just the ones I meet and. I attract all the mean ones apparently." She joked. She found her thoughts wander to Blane again. Why did she actually still like him/ He was sometimes mezn to her. But sometimes he was also really sweet. She sighed again.

"Oh, who have you met from my house?" Sid said trying to think of someone who was really mean in his house. He could think of a few people. Sid stoodu p and began to walk again. "Ready?"

Davina sighed the only name swarming in her mind was Blane.She promised she wouldn't talk about him, but she would be referring to someone who was mean to her, and not nice. So maybe this was allowed. She nodded and stood back up to walk again. "Um..just this guy Blane." She said almost mumbling. She couldn't help be realize that she missed him, she would setlle for him being mean to her at the moment.

"Oh Blane. Yeah I know him." Sid frowned and looked down. "I wouldnt mess with him if I were you, but Im not you so do whatver you want." Sid smiled.

Davina peered up and frowned. "Why wouldn't you mess with him? Not like I am but why wouldnt you?" She asked almost instantly and in a somewhat babbling tone. She knew he wasn't the happy go lucky guy but he said he wasn't a death eater yet. Then again she never did ask if he ever hurt anyone, and he always made it seemed like he had no problem doing it. She was still frowning and now looking down. Why did he have to be like that?

"Oh hes just rude to everyone in the common room. He seems like he has no friends. I dont know him personally, just what Ive seen in the Slytherin House." Sid said smiling. They were all the way by the forbidden forest now. They walked through the pitch, the grounds and now the forest. "Do you want to go in? I am the master at dueling so you would have nothing to worry about."

Davina sighed in reliefe. "Rude right." She said shaking her head. Of course he was rude. She put on a small smile. She couldn't help it but she was happy Sid didn't say something else. She knew Blane was rude she just thought Sid was going to say something else about him somethign worse. She laughed a little at how she automatically got upset and thought the worse. She looked back up at him. "Sure. Sounds like fun." She smiled. She still couldn't stop thinking of Blane though. She set out today to try not think about things like this, and that's just what she was doing.

Sid smiled. "Ok lets go." They began to walk through the forest. It was getting dark so Sid lit up his wand. He couldnt think of anything to say so they just kept walking. Then Sid saw a light up ahead. He then said "Nox." And his wand went out. "Did you see that?" He asked her as they both ducked down.

Davina was pretty much out of it, thinking about Blane. She was wlking but her mind was miles away. She felt herself duck. Sid must have pulled her down, or heer body must have reacted on its own.

"No, what was that?" She said looking around. "Stupid forrest." she mumbled.

Sid poked his head up just enough so he could see. He didnt see the light come back for several minutes. "Hmm I think it was a person or something out there. Do you want to go look for it or are you ready to go back?" Sid could tell that Davnia had something on her mind other than their walk.

Go back? Oh no, so she could sit in her room with these thoughts. At least now she wasn'y alone as her head filled with thoughts of Blane. "No...definitely don't want to go back." She said almost immediately. "Um, I mean this looks kinda interesting." She said with a fake cough clearing her throught.

"Oh, ok. Well lets go." Sid said as they both stood up and ventured forth. Sid couldnt find the light anymore and decided to give up. He felt bad for dragging Davina through all of this yuck in the forest. "I dont see anything. I guess we were going on a wild goose chase." Sid said not fully believeing himself. He kept his guard up. "Is there anything you want to do?" He asked politely.

Davina didn't really care about being dragged. Sid was really nice and she considered him a friend now, so in her mind she was just hanging out with a friend. She snapped out of her thoughts after she promised herself to stop thinking about Blane.

"Well nothng in particular." She said with a shrug. "It's really fun to hang out with you though." She smiled widely at him. She meant it too. Sid seemed to be just like her with a couple of differences of course. She liked knowing someone who thought like her.

Sid smile.d "Well thats godo to hear." Sid said. He considered Davina a friend now. She so friendly and sweet. Sid had agood time hanging out with her and he didnt know why. And, for some reason, he wasnt sexually attracted to her. Not because she was pretty, but because he felt he connected wit her on a higher level than just some piece of meat. Sid felt they had a friendship ahead that would last a lifetime. "Lets keep walking." He said.

Davina nodded and kept walking around. She was glad she was in the company of Sid. He was so nice and seemed to be a great friend. She looked around for anything that looked interesting and hoping to keep her mind off of other things. "Do you come in here a lot?" She asked.

"Yeah I come here a lot to practice my dueling. Dueling is my favorite hobby." Sid said as they kept on walking. "I usually try to fund a good think tree and practice my aiming and pronunciation." Sid said.
