Title: Not a Letter To Watch Fly Awayy.
Description: **open**

Katarzyna Warswik - July 18, 2008 03:23 AM (GMT)
Katarzyna had traveled up the precarious steps of the Owlery tower many times in her school terms. Many times had she watched a snowy owl fly in. Fly out. Must be hundreds of faces she had encountered in the past of students sending off their love to Mum and Dad back at home.

Home. Mum. Dad.

Five years of Hogwarts. And yet, not a single letter had the Polish beauty sent home, real home. of course that would be stupid... Who knows what schmuck is living there now? But what would happen if she was to send a piece of parchment, all nicely sealed and signed to those foster 'parents' that she was so abruptly left with. Would they even remember her? Could they forget her - was that even possible? No one ever forget Katarzyna and her... well, odd, ways. One moment cherry, the next deadly quiet. Your friend. Your enemy. Your bitch. Your ex.

But that.. 'father' she had there in London. He could never forget her, no... No matter how hard he tried. The smooth touch of her skin would not leave his mind... His sick mind.

I Hate those people... she thought, for the eightheth time that day as she made the final step into the Owlery. What could little miss Slav be doing in an Owlery if she had no letter, no package, to send? Let alone an owl. Kat came up to the high top of the tower many times... Just to watch the owls and their owners interact... It had occured to her, that maybe - just maybe - she wished to be one of those students sending letters out home. Telling of there great adventures at school... or how much they hated it. Whatever.

Kat tied up her wild brunette mane of hair up into a ponytail letting some tressels fall over her green eyes, smoked up with eyeliner. She dragged her feet, looking down at her clothes. Low-rise, olive colored jeans and a white sweater top that feel off the shoulder. She loved weekends - no uniforms needed all day. Kat walked up to a window, where it obvious many owls had left there mark but she didn't care. She looked up into the cloudy sky, but the first thing she saw was a huge brown barn owl flying down... more lik crashing with an envelope in betteen its tallons.

"JESUS CHRIST!" she yelled as it flew right into her face though she managed to dodge. The letter fell on the floor as the crazed owl flew up to perch somewhere else. Katarzyna bent down to pick up the letter, but couldn't read the name... It was obviously for someone waiting in the Owlery for their owl...

She looked up, hoping to see the Owl's owner.

Emily walked up into the Owlery. She was waiting for a letter from her old friend Anel. Emily walked up to see Anels owl attack a girl. "Sorry about that. It's my friend Anels owl. Does that more than you think. That letter you are holding is for me" Emily told her. "I'm Emily by the way. Your name is?" Emily said in her French accent that was coming out strongly today. "My name is written in French probably if you can't read it."'

Katarzyna slowly handed over the envelope to the the girl... Emily, apparently. "Yah. Owls, they're crazy more than half the time... Don't even have one myself," she muttered, but clear enough for the girl to understand. Kat was good with accents, having one herself. Kat's was a heavy Polak accent, snd this girl... Obviously french but- - -

"Southern France, perhaps? Or is that off?" she said, taking a totally random guess as to where she may be from in France. "Oh, by the way, it's Katarzyna... Kat..Warswik," she said, nodding and eyeing the girl up and down quickly... Sizing her up. She was the classic pretty french girl.

Kat glanced at her robes... Oh, dear... Hufflepuff she said, trying to keep her smirk to herself.

Emily smiled as she looked at the envelope. "Yeah thats me. Emily Rosalie Fall" Emily said. "Yeah Southern France. I came here from Beauxbatons last year" Emily told Kat. "Where are you from? The accent I mean" Emily asked.

Emily looked at the uniform. Slytherin. Her whole family except Kate and herself. But Emily didn't mind. She liked being different. "I'm a 5th year. In Hufflepuff if you didn't notice. Your in Slytherin right?"

Katarzyna Warswik - July 19, 2008 07:17 PM (GMT)
Kat always liked Southern France - though she'd never had a good chance to go there. Just once, before her parents dissapeared... And she was too young to remember everything clearly. "Krakow - -Poland," she said in reply, nodding a little as she remembered the beautiful old town.

"I live in London now," she said, and there was no doubt that there was dismay in her voice. She hated London, if not for the city... for the foster family she was put up with. "Oh, I'm actually a fifth year, too. Slytherin, yes," Kataryna confirmed, she usually emphasized the SLY in Salazar's last name.

"Why did you leave Beauxbatons? Is it not a good school?" she asked, raising a well shaped eyebrow.
