Description: Open

AJ Vitcav - July 18, 2008 02:24 PM (GMT)
AJ sat in a classroom during dinner. He grabbed food and left in an instance. He had grown tired of putting on a smile and making chit chat when really he couldn't talk about the things that were really on his mind. Sitting down at his normal desk for this class he ate quietly, reading the Evening Prophet. There was very little news. He flipped from page to page reading about the Ministry of Magic, Quidditch, and accidents that occured during a fight in Knockturn Alley.

His stomach turned. He was at that Fight Club, he tried to stop that crazy witch from killing the man; the man wasn't the kindest either. For when AJ tried to stop her from killing him, he returned the favour.

He thought he heard somebody out in the hall "Nox" he whispered to his wand, making the room almost complete darkness, He saw the door creep open, the line of light inches from his desk.

Katarzyna Warswik - July 18, 2008 02:35 PM (GMT)
Katarzyna knew that everyone would be in the dining hall right now shoving their faces full of the delicasies they served. And that's exactly why she wasn't there, she liked to take a few imes a week to skip the Hogwarts dinner and wander while no one else was around. It was as peaceful as Hogwarts could get she believed. And she won't lie - - she liked the sneaking around in places she wouldn't be able to if more poeple were there.

Kat walked up a corridor - she didn't exactly know where she was, and she didn't care. A slight breeze flew her way and she undid her messy ponytail and let her long mane of chesnut hair fall down her back as she walked up to a door.

There were places in Hogwarts Katarzyna knew she's been.. and other had not even discovered yet. Behind this door was most likely just another classroom. Desks. Books. But still, why not?

Kat opened the heavy wooden door to the classroom and almost imeadiatly darkness splled out as the corridors light watered in opposite her. A window, behind Kat in the corridor was slightly ajar and a small gust of wind blew in the classroom. The next thing Kat heard was the rustling of papers.

"Lumos" she said somewhat in a whisper. That'show she usually cast her spells: to herself, whispering them to her own ear. No one else need to know what they were.

The classroom lit up and across the room, sitting in a desk was a boy - a little older than herself. Katarzyna was a little surprised to see someone, since not only was the room dark as night before she walked in but it was dinner time down in the great hall. Kat had her reasons so skip meals every now and then... She'd been doing so for a while.

"What the bloody are you doing in a dark classroom alone?" Katarzyna asked, a little of her Polish accent coming off. Despite the few years she's lived in England, she never lost her true voice. OF course, it never occured to the slovic beauty that he'd turned all the room dark so know one would bother him..

AJ Vitcav - July 18, 2008 02:47 PM (GMT)
The door crept open inch my inch. AJ's eyes adjusted to the light shinging through. In walked a girl, she peered around in the darkness. AJ heard her whisper Lumos, shining the light through out the room. He didnt aknowledge her, instead went back to reading his newspaper.

"Was alone," he responded to her question. "And it was light in here, until I heard someone walking around. Didn't expect any intruders."

He looked at the girl. Someone he had never seen before. Then again, perhaps she was the same year as him. He didn't pay attention anymore. He was on the back page, reading an article on Gillyweed and how they found a batch in a muggle market. They think a prank by some students from over the summer.

"What are you doing here anyways?" he asked, looking back up at the girl.

Katarzyna Warswik - July 18, 2008 02:58 PM (GMT)
Katarzyna wanted to walk a little closer towards him, she couldnt help but feel ever so awkward just standing there as he glued his eyes to the newspaper article. Today she decided, was a day in which she craved human connection. Then again with her unbalanced personality, that could change in the next ten minutes. Before answering his question her mind quickly sidetracked... She wished she wasn't like that - the constant unbalance in her mind. Yes. No. Love. Hate. Friend. Enemy. Life. Or... Eating Disorder.

"Exploring," she said very nonchalantly, tucking a brunnete tressel behind her ear. "I don't usually go to dinner," she said honestly. Though she did not mention 'why' she wouldn't sit with her friends and eat and talk, she was truthful enough for this stranger. "Too much commotion in the dinning hall if you ask me..."

"What are yo u reading?" She said, sauntering over to his desk. She layed her long finger over the page so she could see the article. "Pshh.. Prophet. Don't read that s**t. Boring. Lies, too..."

AJ Vitcav - July 18, 2008 03:11 PM (GMT)
She was one of those people, he thought. Thinking the Prophet still lied, He hated ignorant people. "mmm," was all he said. She was sitting near him. He supposed he had to talk.

"Yeah, the Great Hall is a little...annoying. I enjoy eating there. Just not tonight. Was awfully busy." He reached over to his plate and ate the food. it sure was delicious. He put his paper back in his bookbag and pulled out his Transfiguration book. He needed to do some potion work, and actually had no Transfiguration work to do. Of course he wasn't actually reading a school book, it was just something he picked up in Diagon Alley over the summer. It was an amazing book.

"AJ, by the way. Seventh year Ravenclaw." he said noting his cloak.

Katarzyna Warswik - July 18, 2008 04:45 PM (GMT)
"Katarzyna Warswik," she said in a thick eastern-euro accent. She loved introducing herself. It made her feel that there really was something special about herself, and the language and place she grew up in. But that was a long time ago... And her thoughts returned to the musty classroom she now stood in with a certain Ravenclaw.

"Fifth year.... Slytherin," she muttered, examining her nails. Kat was thinking about just turning around and leaving the handsome Ravenclaw the way she found him : by himself. Though she had nothing else do do at the moment. She'd explored every nook and cranny she possibly could today. And walking down to the dinning hall would just make her anxious being around so much food.

Despite being a Slytherin she socialized with all of the houses. She did not really believe in the whole rivalry when it came to friendships. Sure, theyre fun and she agreed. But really... it gets old. "So, Ravenclaw? Smartie, I guess, right?"

Katarzyna said teasingly as she eyed the Transfiguration book. Transfiguration was her favorite subject...

AJ Vitcav - July 18, 2008 04:51 PM (GMT)
Ugh. Another Slytherin.

"Yeah, top in my year in Transfiguration." he said with a cocky smirk. He left out how Prof. Anima figures AJ to be the best in years. "but I'm not like most Ravenclaws overloading my schedule. I'm taking the five classes needed to become and Auror and Arithmancy. It's a valuable subject to know the basis of. NEWT levels sure are tough." he said. Though they weren't really, he told people that to make it look like he was stuggling.

"OWLs then? Going to be an exciting year for you. I can guarantee you that."

He loved to pressure other students.

Katarzyna Warswik - July 19, 2008 05:38 AM (GMT)
Katarzyna laughed softly under her breath, then ran her long fingers through her hair from top to bottom. "Yahh... OWLs - quite thrilling. Thrilling..."

I dunno, I'm not too worried about it," she said, examining her clear finger nails. "Should I be? There just... tests... And, to be honest, I'm probably not going to get any nice job like 'auror'. There's not much for me to study for," she said, mostly to herself. She was usually a little hard on herself this way, but only so other people would try to cheer her up with compliments... Though there was something Kat could tell about this guy that he wasn't going to shower her with compliments and flirts like most other guys. he seemed a little more... reserved.

AJ Vitcav - July 19, 2008 06:20 PM (GMT)
"They're hard tests," he said. He listened as she put herself down. He wasn't going to try and make her feel better. Either she really did not like herself or was fishing for compliments. "Yeah..." was all he said.

The classroom was lit by there wands, causing darkness everywhere else. AJ flick his wand at the lanterns and fire sparked immediatly. "There," his want was no longer lit. "Much better isn't it?" he put his books away. He figured he would get no reading done tonight.

Katarzyna Warswik - July 19, 2008 07:12 PM (GMT)
Katarzyna eyed the rest of the classroom quickly before returning her intense gaze to AJ. She actually preferred darkness to light - - it seemed to suit her somehow. But to others, that was 'freakish', so she lied.

"Yeahh... I never really liked the dark," she said lightly. Kat was slightly intrigued about how AJ said he wanted to be an Auror when he finished schooling. It would be an interesting career, there's no doubt about that. She knew she ahd no right to prod him with these questions, but that never stopped her.

"What makes you want to study to be an auror? Does your family work in the ministry?"

AJ Vitcav - July 19, 2008 07:17 PM (GMT)
He didn't know whether or not he should say if he was Muggleborn or not. Afterall she was an unknown Slytherin. "Actually, I'm muggleborn. I want to hunt NDE and Dark Wizards because I think it is ridiculous what they are doing."

He felt the blood rush to his head. "Didn't the Dark Wizards already lose a battle? Why try it again. The whole wizarding world is against them now."

AJ was beginning to worry she was a supporter of them.

Katarzyna Warswik - July 20, 2008 05:08 AM (GMT)
Katarzyna cocked her head slightly with a nod. Sure, she was a Slytherin but she wasn't sure yet as to what her views on the whole Death Eater topic was. She didn't take it lightly of course but there was a certain tore in her that she knew AJ wouldn't understand. Being a Slytherin, Kat was assumed and supposed to be a Voldemort supporter. An NDE.

"Well that's true, and I agree," I think. "But aren't we supposed to try, try again until you get it right?"

Kat knew this was a touchy subject with everyone - especially Hogwarts students. But she couldn't help but feel indecisive... there's a certain glamour to the dark side.

AJ Vitcav - July 21, 2008 01:00 AM (GMT)
AJ wasn't amused by her statement. If it were a joke, it wasn't funny. If she supported dark magic he was using all of his might not to duel her right then and there. His heart started to beat faster by the second until:

He let out a smirk. "Hah, of course."

He turned away muttering to himself. AJ must be careful. He was opening up to too many people. He turned back to her.

"It's getting a bit late isn't it?" suggesting he wanted to leave. But he wasnt sure if she would take the hint.
