Samantha ran fast, her tennis shoes hardly making a sound when it landed on the ground after each step. This is what Samantha did. She ran. She ran from everything and anything, she ran from her mask of security and hid so she could be scared and fall apart. But then she would run back to composure, and look like she was fine, when inside she was worried and scared and wished she could be held tight in her adopted mothers arms.
The fright had started two weeks ago, when the first letter came. The letter said it was from her parents, her REAL parents, and they said they wanted her back. The letters came every other day, begging pleading and demanding Samantha meet with them in Hogsmeade. But Samantha was scared, they had told her not to tell anyone, but she needed to tell someone. Samantha ran through the forbidden forest like it was nothing. She didn't pay attention to where she was running, her feet knew the way.
Samantha's thick brown hair flew behind her, and sometimes into her green eyes, but she closed her eyes, hoping the world would just go away, but opened them finding the world still there. It wasn't fair. And she wanted to tell Isaac but she couldn't, because she didn't know what would happen. She didn't want him hurt.
Samantha slid down a hill, covered with dead leaves. She landed in her small haven. She didn't think anyone would ever come here, or even did. It was normally overlooked, she almost missed it's serenity back in her first year, but she still found it. She leaned her head against the ground, and breathed heavily. But then Samantha heard something, footsteps. She sat up immidiatly, should she ask who it was or just sit still and wait.
With a strong and composed voice, although Samantha felt the oposite, she asked, "Who's there?"
katarzyna walked through the forest, stepping over dead branches and crazed bushes with every step. She had to keep her thin hands atop her head to kep the wild branches from becoming tangled in her cheasnut hair. She wasn't exactly dressed for a walk in the forest... black pumps where getting stuck in the mud every few steps... Her candy colored blue jeans wear a little to tight for comfort... And the long sleeve solid black top was getting stuck in the brances. She had not planned on walking through this wild place, but rather just along the grounds.
That was until her thoughts began to strangle her. Katarzyna always knew there was something mentally wrong with her. She was constantly changing her mind, her personality. it was as if she had multiple personalites at times. But she had no idea if that was a Muggle thing or a wizarding illness. Then there was the bulimia nervosa that had sprouted over tha past few months.
Oh... It hurt Kat's head to even think of the bulimia she'd knowingly dragged herself into. Thinking that it wouldn't become a problem. It was a one time thing. I won't let it become a habit, she ahd said to herself months ago.But for once, the Polish beauty was dead wrong.
Kat wasn't paying any attention as to where she was - which probably wasn't the smartest thing to do. I guess this is why she's not in Ravenclaw. Mistepping in her heels had led to her slidding down a small dip of leaves, right after she'd heard a girls voice.
Awkward enough... Katarzyna had landed perhaps just five feet from where the othr was standing. She knew her - Samantha or something. Slytherin, like Kate. "Uhm...Hi?"
she said, feeling a little silly as she picked leaves out of her gorgeous hair. "Hope I'm not...interupting something," she said and couldn't help but start laughing.
Samantha stared at the polish girl with interest. She seemed disheveled, just like Samantha was. But Samantha looked perfectly fine. Not just perfectly fine, but just plain perfect. She allowed her green eyes to scan the girl with an amused smirk.
"Hello." She told the girl simply. She stared at the girls heels, the smirk never falling. She recognized the girl, yes she did, she was the crazy girl who was in Slytherin. Somewhat like the Lily-Ann girl. Who was... far too hyper. Samantha rarely trusted people, so she knew Lily-Ann was probably always up to something.
She tucked some of her hair behind her ear, She tugged at the sleeves of her zip up hoody for a moment.
"Did you fall?" She asked, and she stepped over to the girl and pulled a leaf from the girls hair. "You missed one." She explained, letting the leaf drop to the ground.
