Katarczyna is a very confusing girl to most. She's troubled, just from looking at her you might not see that. From looking at her you see a beautiful girl who's probably got it all. The truth is she has nothing like that. Kat is loud... obnoxious. She is quiet... understanding. Her entire mental balance is off. One moment she's your friend, the next your worst enemy.
Ever since Kat first came to Hogwarts she's started getting into trouble. teenage pressures don't just go away because your a witch, now do they? Of course not. Katarzyna is suffering from mental disturbances which will come out in her plots. All I can tell you right now, is that in her fifth year - current - her psychological disorders will hit a new high. She is very quik-witted, but cunning. Kat is very competitive, but not really in a sports-minded way. She's competive in a perfectionist way. She loves attention. She's an attention whore. It's what she feeds on: trouble, attention, && depressed love.

Valentina realised almost immediately how Katarzyna's charecter was, but respected it.
Also, Valentina is not the type of girl you want to go against (since her father is Vice-Minister and she is Slytherin's heir, even thought people don't know that yet), so Katarzyna probably realised that.
