Carly Butank - July 22, 2008 07:04 AM (GMT)
Carly layed motionless on the floor of the library. She had just made her way there after chasing after her owl, Alvaro. It was a dumb owl. It seemed like everytime she would begin tieing the parchment to him, he would fly around. It would normally take her 20 minutes just to calm him down and finally send him on his way.

She was now exhausted. It was already pretty late and she hasn't been getting much sleep. Her pale face stared up at the ceiling. Her mind wandered in many different directions, but it seemed to keep coming back to the fact that she had three essays to write by tomorrow and hadn't a clue where to start. That's why she was lying there. She knew she'd have to come here, but as she entered she realized she really didn't have the energy to try.

This resulted in her current position. She found herself a nice spot between bookshelves, and collapsed. She just hoped she would regain her energy there and then be able to begin writing. She was zoning out now, but was quickly forced back to reality when a book had hit her hard in the stomache. She glanced around to find no one.

She guessed that someone from the other side must've accidentally knocked it down. She had no idea how she could've missed that falling though. She must've been really spacing out.

"Try keeping the books on the shelves instead of on my stomache, please." She shouted quite plainly to whoever was over there.

Cerae Browning - July 23, 2008 01:24 AM (GMT)
It had been a day of proacastination for Cerae, she'd done everything to distract herself from the pile of homework that awaited her. Of course, procastination turned out to be a bad idea. She now had a huge pile of homework to do and was beginning to feel the pressure of it. She was sure that she wouldn't have enough time to finish it all, and to make matters worse, she was rather tired and wondering how she would be able to stay up long enough to finish it all. That was why she was now trapped in ther library, her least favorite place in Hogwarts.

Cerae travlled down through the library, pausing only occasionally to glance at the books on the shelves. She had a destination in mind this time around. She had an essay to write and needed to do some research before she was capable of writing a good essay by any means. She sighed, finally finding the section she needed. She pulled out what seemed like the 100th book, she flipped through the pages, and finding the information useless once more. She slammed the book back onto the shelve, causing the book behind it to fall. She cringed, but thought nothing of it until she heard a voice.

"Sorry!" Cerae shouted back, her voice matching the irritation in Carly's. Nonetheless she went around to make sure the person was alright. She stopped when she saw the familiar Slytherin, "Oh... It's you." She stated rather flatly, regretting her words almost instantly as she realized how stupid they sounded.

Torree Kendrick - July 23, 2008 01:39 AM (GMT)
After speaking, Carly threw the book to the side of her and closed her eyes, placing her arms behind her head. She took a deep breath when the person apologized, sounding like they didn't really mean it. She could care less though, she wasn't in the mood to deal with anyone.

She heard the footsteps of the book-dropper coming around, closer to her. She didn't bother to look at who it was. They spoke again, sounding much annoyed that it was Carly. She opened her eyes to find Cerae standing over her. She rolled her eyes. "Should've known you'd be the bright one to drop books from shelves." She closed her eyes again, not caring to get up or start anything with her.

OOC: Ah, dumb accounts.

Cassandra Bloom - July 23, 2008 08:47 PM (GMT)
Cassandra entered the library. She need a place to relax. Maybe get work done. She heard something going on. She heard someone say ow and someone else say sorry. She went to go investigate. When she got there she say a Slytherin on the floor.
"Are you alright? I heard something." she asked.

Carly Butank - July 23, 2008 09:13 PM (GMT)
Carly saw another girl approach. She was yet another Gryffindor. Carly looked at her for a few moments, then rolled her eyes. She really didn't want to deal with anyone, especially Gryffindors. "I'm fine."

She looked back up at the ceiling, having intentions to now ignore them both. As much as she didn't want to do anything, if they felt the need to sit there and talk to her for much longer then she'd probably have to.

She noticed that neither of them were moving and she sighed. "Is there something interesting over here that i don't know about?" The irratation in her voice was very notable.

Cassandra Bloom - July 23, 2008 09:42 PM (GMT)
Cassandra folded her arms.
"Jeez you don't have to be so rude. I just wanted to see if you were ok. Next time I won't bother being so nice." She said rolling her eyes.

Carly Butank - July 23, 2008 10:51 PM (GMT)
Carly gave her a thumbs up. "Hey, thanks!" She said with a smile. It was completely sarcastic. She slightly rolled her eyes and finally stood up, staring at the girl for a few moments. "Now, shoo." She flicked her hand as if she was brushing her away and then pushed past her.

Now that she was up and moving, she had energy and wouldn't mind messing with someone now. She sort of hoped she would follow her now. Carly smirked and found herself a chair to sit in, then leaned back and put her feet up on the table. She looked around.

Cassandra Bloom - July 24, 2008 12:05 AM (GMT)
Cassandra gave a smoldering look in the direction the girl had went . She rolled her eyes. She resisted the urge to follow her and smack her in the face. She crossed her arms in front of her chest and walked over to Cerae.
"Is she always like that?" she asked

Cerae Browning - July 24, 2008 04:43 PM (GMT)
Cerae watched as a fellow Gryffindor joined them, obviously just making sure that carly was alright. It didn't surprise her that Cassandra wasn't answered by kind words. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at some of the comments Carly made. She crossed her arms, feeling almost glad that the fallen book had landed on Carly. Almost. She sighed and followed Cassandra as Carly shooed them away. "You are absolutely ridiculous Carly." She stated as she left. Feeling bad for Cassandra now. She shook her head, "Pretty much. We don't really get along very well, so that's to be expected."

Carly Butank - July 24, 2008 04:57 PM (GMT)
Carly slightly laughed at Cerae's comment. "I wouldn't even consider that close to ridiculous." She looked around and smirked as the two girls talked. She didn't know how they could stand each other when she couldn't stand them. Carly then pulled her wand from her pocket and played with it in her fingers, eyeing it.

"Now, if you wanna see me get ridiculous..just say the words." She looked back up at the two girls and smirked, raising an eyebrow. She was definitely in the mood to have some fun now.

Cerae Browning - July 24, 2008 05:03 PM (GMT)
Cerae turned back to Carly, an eyebrow raised. She almost wanted to laugh. This was ridculous. She eyed the wand that Carly was not playing with, and istinctly, Cerae reached for her own wand, pulling it out, but not keeping it pointed at anything in particularly. She twirled around in her fingers absentmindedly, ready to strike if Carly did. She half hoped she would at this point.

Cerae shook her head. "Leave it up to you to get worked up over a little kindness." She stated, referring to Cassandra.

Torree Kendrick - July 24, 2008 05:08 PM (GMT)
Carly half laughed, half rolled her eyes at this. "No, no..i'm not getting worked up about kindness. I just.." She paused, pretending to think hard about it. "don't like you." She smirked again.

It was true. If she didn't like someone, she just always picked fights. Now seemed like an especially good time to do it. She probably wouldn't do anything though. She just wanted to worry them a bit. She took a deep breath and put her wand back in her pocket. "I guess i'll spare you some embarrasment today." She smirked and looked away.

OOC: Man, i'm always using the wrong accounts.

Cassandra Bloom - July 24, 2008 05:14 PM (GMT)
Cassandra saw the two of them with there wands out. She withdrew hers from her robes. She cotinued taking to Cerae ignoring what Carly said.
"It might just be her getting embarrassed." she whispered to Cerae with a mischivious glint in her eye.
