Arithmacy Homework
Arythmacy is an old art of Fortune telling, that has been around for centuries. It consists in interpreting the numbers and finding out their meaning.
Last lesson, we started talking about numbers, and, for now, we came up to number 4.
Here are the numbers (from one to four), and their meaning:
Number one
This is the number for solidarity, the individual mind.
Ones are independent, focused, and determined. They set a goal and stick to it. They are leaders and inventors. Ones find it difficult to work with others and don't like to take orders. They can be self-centered, egotistical, and domineering. They are often loners.
Number two
The number two rappresents unity, teamwork, cooparation, and balance. Twos are imaginative, creative, and sweet natured.
This number is also ment to rappresent peace, harmony, commitment, loyalty and fairness. Twos also introduce the idea of conflict, opposing forces, and the contrasting sides of things.
It's like those muggle talismans, the elements contrast each other: day and night, good and evil, male and femal, etc.
Number three

Mona's piece of parchment was covered a quarter of the way with tiny handwriting. She liked her tiny handwriting, although, sometimes, it will not do good in long exams if she doesn't know a lot of information.
Mona handed it in solemnly, hoping it wasn't considered short.
This was what was written on her piece of parchment:

Arithmancy is a way of fortune telling through numbers. It tells us a person's personailty and sometimes, the future.
The number one represents independence and often don't work well with others.
The number two represents stability and control. Although, it can also mean two sides of something. They can be moody, self-conscious and indesiciveness.
Threes are often lucky and talented, therefore making them highly successful. They are easy going and humorous.
The number four represents even more stability than 2. Since 4 is double the amount of 2. They can often be stubborn, and prefers logic and hard-work.

Kirsten was pleased that all who attended her class last time had handed their homework in in time and felt relieved that she doesn't have to give any detentions out.
She smiled at herself as she began to read through them.
