AJ was in need of figuring out his future. As a seventh year, he had an idea like most others, but unlike others he was actually doing what he wanted to do in the future: hunt dark wizards. Professor Rasmuse knew this via a conversation she had with Florent and AJ was told to go visit her when he had the time.

Forgetting for almost a month, he spoke to the Professor during class earlier in the day and she said to come down in the evening. AJ finished dinner and watched Rasmuse leave the head table. He lingered for a bit before going up to his common room to get parchment and a quill; in case he needed notes.

He walked slowly, not because he was nervous, but because he was tired from a long day of classes and flying during his free session. Upon arriving at her office he took a deep breath and knocked on the door. It was half open and creeked even more open. He peeked his head around the door, "Professor?" he asked stepping into the office.

"I'm hear to talk about the Auror Department."

Gen was reading the paper and sipping on some hot tea when AJ walked in. "Oh yes, hello AJ! Please come in a take a seat!" Gen gestured for AJ to sit down. "Ok, now what would you like to know?" Gen said feeling a bit nervous, as she didnt know what AJ was expecting.

AJ trotted over to her desk, taking a seat. He rarely met with Professors other than his Transfiguration professor. Taking a seat he lowered his parchment to the desk to write on.

"Well I'm supposed to be thinking about my future, and I know I want to hunt Dark Wizards, so I figure the Auror Department would be great. I've always wanted to do it." He told her, "But I'm worried you have too many aurors now. What with all of the NDE running around."

AJ didn't want to have to find another job while waiting for a spot to open up. He would be able to pass the tests with flying colours, being an animagus helps out a lot.

"It's just..." he stopped not knowing what he wanted to say, "I don't know."

He lowered his voice even though nobody would be listening in. "You know Florent right? He told me to stay in close contact with you...about dark wizards and what not."

AJ confessed the true reason for him being there.
