Calum Ferguson - September 19, 2008 11:12 AM (GMT)
Um, excuse me. I think class is still going on.
What was the homework, by the way?
Lucinda Beatty - September 19, 2008 04:00 PM (GMT)
OOC: I posted, but something went wrong, and it didn't show up.
Lucinda added a A3 piece of paper by the box, containing these words,
Homework:
1) Name three potions not included in today's lesson.
2) Make one of the potions, and place in a test tube. (You can make this in my office or the classroom at Free Period.)
3) Explain who spread the rumour about Hermione Granger and the Love Potion, and what happened after.

Calum Ferguson
3rd year Ravenclaw
- Essence of Euphoria
- Deflating Draft
- Swelling Solution
Calum set up his cauldron and wand on a flat wooden table in an empty classroom and began making the Essence of Euphoria Potion. He put in the ingredients and stirred with his wand. Smoke bubbled out of it and he coughed, fanning the smoke with his hand. It wasn't what he thought it should be. But, then he remembered. He forgot to add peppermint.
So, he started again. This time, he got it right excpet the colour was a darker shade than it normally should be. Maybe he put too much peppermint.
He got out a vial and bottled it.
Pansy Parkinson told Rita Skeeter, the infamous journalist, that she believed Hermione Granger was brewing a Love Potion so as to win the interest of Viktor Krum and Harry Potter.
Skeeter made sure this went out in the public by publishing her findings in the Witch Weekly.
Mrs. Weasley's warmth to Hermione for the next few days had faded away, giving her small easter eggs and glares. She had been reading Skeeter's false claims written in the Witch Weekly and was appaled that she was trying to cheat Potter into loving her.
Finally, Mrs.Weasley learnt that this was not true, her warmth and hospitality to Hermione returned with many apologies.
This was not a very popular scene in the life of the trio.
Brooklyn Rae - September 20, 2008 03:07 AM (GMT)
Brooklyn rushed to the Homework Dropbox. She knew she was the first to hand her homework in. She pushed the paper through the slit on the top of the box, only to find that there was already a piece of paper in it. She sighed. Someone had beaten her.
She still pushed the paper in, nevertheless...
Scrwaled on the notebook paper was Brooklyn's homework, written in her near perfect handwriting:
1. a.Confusing Concoction--Effect is to cause confusion.
b. Babbling Beverage--Causes the target person to talk nonsense.
c. Sleekeazy's Hair Potion--Used to style hair.
2. Made Sleekeazy's Hair Potion...(See topic in OTHER PLACES)
3. Pansy Parkinson told Rita Skeeter that Hermione was going to give Harry Potter and Victor Krum the love potion. Mrs. Wesaley, after reading this, was upset with Hermiones, because she thought more highly of her. After some convincing, Mrs. Weasley believed that Rita was lying, and told Hermione she was sorry.
Ps. This was VERY difficult to locate!! :)
Brooklyn turned from the Drop Box and sulked off, wondering who had beaten her.

OOC: ahaha, sorry Brooklyn! :P
