Brooklyn knocked on the door of Professor Anima's office. She wanted to join his class, even though she had heard awful things that he had done to his students, most of all, the NDE seating order, muggle borns in the front, pure-bloods in the back. It made Brooklyn cringe, but still, she turned the door knob.
"Professor?" she asked cautiously, as she pushed the door open.
Lycs Anima had been grading the papers of muggleborn students harshly, giving them grades much worse than pureblods who had done exactly the same thing to the same standard. Still, that was how he was- he'd been brought up with a sheer disklike for mudbloods and it had stuck throughout his life.
It was only the creaking of his office door which caused him to look up with stunning green eyes. "Yes?" he asked, cautious.
Brooklyn smiled, trying to make a good impression, when Professor Anima addressed her indirectly. His bright green eyes pierced her when she looked at him.
"Professor..." Brooklyn started, a little flustered, as she fully entered the room. She shut the door behind her. "I was just wondering if I could speak with you for a moment...abouy joining your class?" she asked as a question. She had heard that Anima was fiercly loyal to pure-bloods and that he hated muggle-borns, but she was half of each. He father had come from a pure blood family. He mother, a muggle one.
She raised her eyebrows in question.
