Title: Who will Die?
Finnigan Tatupu - June 27, 2006 10:31 PM (GMT)
Jo said, today or yesterday, that two important characters would die in book seven, and that she was going to kill three but one of them had to live for the story to make sence. Who is going to die, and more importantly, who did she save? If we know who she saved, we will find out who is important to the plot.
Perdita Brequaire - June 28, 2006 03:16 PM (GMT)
I still think Harry will survive and voldemort will die. Dumbledores NOT coming back. Lupin will die and i think Ron will too but that's 3 people so i don't know. But anybody who's been fatherly toward harry has died which is why i think Lupin will die, but that's just me. And it's clear Voldemorts going to die, the book can't end without him dead. And I've always thought something was going to happen to the trio maybe that's just me though.
Finnigan Tatupu - June 28, 2006 03:56 PM (GMT)
The only thing that makes sence to me is if Harry and Voldemort die. This way, nobody can write about her characters after she's finished. I don't know...
Emily Johnson - June 28, 2006 06:37 PM (GMT)
I think Lupin, Snape, and Voldemort will probably die. I really don't think that she would kill off Hermione or Ron. I just hope that Harry doesn't die cus that'll such.

HARRY AND VOLDEMORT ARE DEAD
or in my view. they will both die. THAT is the only way the books can end, get rid of them both. and shes made it clear this is the final one.
Simner Farden - June 29, 2006 12:08 AM (GMT)
I think Harry, Ron and Voldamort will die(that being the three) but the one of those three who won't die is most def Ron...

Yea I watched it on tv, it was like 7:00 in the morning my moms like "J.K's on TV" I like jumped out of bed...only thing that can get me out of bed...honestly.
I think Harry, Voldie, and Snape will die. Eather Snape or Ron
Finnigan Tatupu - June 29, 2006 02:05 PM (GMT)
What if Dumbledore isn't really dead? Maybe she saved him... I don't think Snape is bad either...
Charlotte Chip - June 29, 2006 05:33 PM (GMT)
I've been hearing a lot about Harry dieing, but I'm still not sure. If I was to take a guess I think it would be Harry and Voldemort who will die. Maybe in an effort to kill eachother they both die. I dunno...
Perdita Brequaire - July 1, 2006 01:16 AM (GMT)
Dumbledores dead, he's never coming back, and snape is evil, he always has been, maybe dumbledore really just put too much trust in him. I don't know, but harry's not going to die, it just wouldn't make sense
Finnigan Tatupu - July 1, 2006 02:57 AM (GMT)
Dumbledore's not dead. I don't think... I don't really want to debate this... anyways... Go to www.dumbledoreisnotdead.com and you can read why dumbledore isn't dead. Any time anyone has been AKed they didn't go flying like Dumbledore did. what if snape sent dumbledore someplace because hogwarts was no longer safe? Snape is good, Dumbledore is alive.
Squall Leonheart - July 1, 2006 10:41 AM (GMT)
Finnigan, you cant base your facts on that site, ive read it, but i have to say you have to see more sources, im a supporter of Slughorn/Dumbledore switch theory. but that theory makes Dumbledore very much alive.
and Perdita, Harry dying makes the most sense. its called a plot twist. this way, she cant continue the books, which is what she wants
Finnigan Tatupu - July 1, 2006 03:57 PM (GMT)
Maybe, but Slughorn is a coward, he wouldn't do something as noble as dying for Dumbledore. He falsified his memory for the pensive. Do you think that Snape is bad? JK has made it seem like Snape is good... And, what if Snape made an unbreakable vow with dumbledore to kill/send him someplace if it was necessary.
Coldstone_Harshing - July 2, 2006 03:49 PM (GMT)
Finnigan you are forgetting Slughorns guilt. Slughorn could have been the reason that there is a Dark Lord, his guilt will need making up for.
Lets keep snape to another topic.
I think one of the trio will die, but bnot harry. Harry personifies innocence and good throughout the book if both he and voldemort die then no side has won and a childrens fantasy always must have good winning over evil.
Finnigan Tatupu - July 2, 2006 05:38 PM (GMT)
Just because someone feels guilty doesn't mean that they aren't a coward. If you think that Slughorn is the reason that Voldemort is bad, everyone deserves some of the blame. Dumbledore knew that Voldemort was bad when he was at school, yet he did nothing. The ministry did nothing when he was rising to power. So really, you can't blame just Slughorn without blaming everyone else.
Squall Leonheart - July 2, 2006 06:11 PM (GMT)
like Adam said, can we have this in another topic? anyone talks about dumbledore's death theories in this topic again and i will warn them.
Adam has a point. Harry dying isn't something that would be good for kids, but is HP realy a kids book anymore? i dont think so, its a young adult's book. kids can't fully understand this plot
Tiegan_Syeira - July 4, 2006 08:55 PM (GMT)
I agree, I think that Harry and Voldemort will both die.. Though I also think that it could be Lupin or Ron. Someone said something about all Harry's father like figures get killed so that would make sense. And Ron, well.. He was destined to die the second JK made him up.
Finnigan Tatupu - July 8, 2006 06:36 PM (GMT)
We have a new clue! Mugglenet posted an article which basically says that there have been two titles patented for the new book. The two possible titles listed are: Harry Potter and the Parseltongue Trophy, or Harry Potter and the Great Revelation. The article states that these were patented around the same time as HBP was published. Here's the link if you wanna read.

Coldstone_Harshing - July 9, 2006 09:14 AM (GMT)
Them two books seem bull to me, the second one is highly unlikley because aoll the other titles have been objects, a person/people or place. As for the first one, it just doesnt make sense. Its probably a decoy.
Squall Leonheart - July 9, 2006 03:36 PM (GMT)
except, i do believe the title will involve Parseltongue somehow. i can't see why a trophy would be involved.
and anyway, the article says that JK has not released a real name, so i wouldnt go on these.
and what relevence does this have to who will die? create a new topic, because it has nothing to do with this one.
Finnigan Tatupu - July 9, 2006 05:31 PM (GMT)
This provides new clues as to who might die. If it is the Great Revelation, I think both Harry and Voldemot would die. The Parseltounge trophy might be a Horcrux. Also, why would Jo's legal representation patent something that she wasn't going to write?
Squall Leonheart - July 9, 2006 07:21 PM (GMT)
i dont see how the title of the book give clues on the death. none of the others have said "OI, THIS BOOK'S TITLE TELLS YOU THAT DUMBLEDORE/SIRIUS/CEDRIC DIES!" in fact, they've had no relevance to the death.
so, make a new topic about the book titles if you want to discuss it. any further comments on that will mean you get warned.
Alexia Traut - July 17, 2006 09:58 PM (GMT)
I've been thinking harry voldy nd lupin
